Wells Fargo Arena - Des Moines, Iowa
DARK MATCH
Tyler Axe vs. Lance Smith
[A great match for both new comers. Tyler Axe and Lance Smith both trade offense back and forth. The turning point came when Lance Smith dodges an outside dive from Tyler Axe. Lance picks up the win via pinfall after the Evisceration at 5:24]
[The Pyro's go off as the TNT music keeps playing. The scene cuts around to the screaming fans]
Thomas Simon: Welcome fans to TNT!
Richie Rhodes: We have a great show tonight oh man I cant wait!
Thomas Simon: We are kicking off our year two tonight as well as only two weeks away from Gold Rush Live on Pay per View!
Richie Rhodes: Lets kick it off with Emi Yamamoto vs. Adam Steele
Match 1
[One Finger and a Fist by Drowning Pool hits as Adam Steele comes out. The fans give a mixed reaction as he makes his way to the ring]
Honey Winters: Making his way to the ring, Adam Steele!
["Hekira no Sora e Izanaedo" echoes across the arena. The fans are on their feet in excitement as Emi Yamamoto reveals herself on the stage. She blows the fans a kiss and raises her hands to show her appreciation for their support. She skips down the ring waving to her fans with a smile on her face. After giving high fives to a couple of nearby fans, Emi jumps onto the ring apron where she turns to face the crowd. She blows them another kiss before she scissor jumps over the top rope and into the ring. She jumps onto the nearest turnbuckle and waves to her fans once more before jumping back onto the mat, turning around and giving the Akanbe gesture to her opponent.]
Honey Winters: And his opponent... Emi Yamamoto!
[
As the bell rings Steele aggressively charges Emi, who manages to sidestep and with a elegant dance like move ends in the center of the ring. Adam ends up in the corner, but quikly spins around and charges again, Yamamoto swiftly drops to the mat catching her opponent with the drop toe hold planting him on the mat. Emi elegantly jumps back on her feet and into the ropes and charges the rising Adam Steele using him as a step ladder as she goes for the hurricarana, but Steele turns it into a falling powerbomb
Richie Rhodes: What impact on that powerbomb, I could feel it down here
Thomas Simon: Hard hitting action from the get go here as Adam Steele goes for the cover
1...2 Kick out by Emi, Adam wastes little time getting back up dragging his opponent with him and whipping her into the ropes. Emi bounces of the ropes and right into a high leglariat from Steele. qucikly Adam is back on his feet and runs for the rope, Yamamoto is up on all four as Steele springboards off the ropes and flattens her with a moonsault.
Richie Rhodes: This guy is really blowing off some steam here
Thomas Simon: Adam Steele wasn't lying, when he said Emi would feel the hatred his loss at Uprising has left him with
Richie Rhodes: And rightfully so, I mean look at him he is one of the hottest things in wrestling today and is stuck wrestling a little girl in the opening match
Furiously Adam stomps away on Emi's back, the Millenium Pro Warrior, trying her best to roll out of the way, but Steele is relentless as he grabs her and forces her to her feet. Steele maneuvers Yamamoto into the corner and hits her with a punishing chop.
Richie Rhodes: I'd like to chop those babies to if you get my drift
Thomas Simon: I should have known... Again I'm stuck with a pervert
Richie Rhodes: I'm convinced our boss would agree with me
With an almost visible rage, Steele lets the chops rain down on Emi, who tries to fight back, but to no avail as Adam lands a brutal Gamengiri to her head, Yamamoto slowly slumps down in the corner as Steele steps back and charges and squashes her with a corner slingshot dropkick.
Thomas Simon: OH My God I think he killed Emi Yamamoto
Richie Rhodes: Dont be so dramatic Tommy, look she is still twitching
The crowd is cheering for Emi to get up, as Steele swaggers over and uses her to stand on as he mocks the fans. The referee is over and counting and Adam gets right into his face.
Richie Rhodes: That stupid referee has nothing to be counting about.... GIVE HIM HELL Adam!!!
Thomas Simon: Well technically its his job Richie
As Steele is arguing with the referee Emi is slowly getting back up in the corner eying her opponent who has his back turned. Finally Adam turns to face his opponent, but is staggered by a roundhouse from Emi, he stumbles backwards as Yamamoto charges tackling her opponent with a spear like takedown. Both are quickly back on their feet and Steele rushes forward and is taken down on the mat with an armdrag, he rolls through and back to his feet, but Emi is already in motion and catches him with the flying headscissors.
Thomas Simon: Emi Yamamoto on the comeback here rendering Adam's aggressive attacks useless here
Richie Rhodes: Everybody can get lucky sometimes
With Adam up on one knee Emi bounces off the ropes and lands a dropkick to a pop from the crowd. She sits up and looks around with a big smile as she jumps up and mounts the corner trying to cheer as loud as the fans. Suddenly she remembers what she was doing and grabs the leg of Steele slapping on the Anklelock.
Thomas Simon: How great it would be if Emi would win this match with the hold she learned from Taufik
Richie Rhodes: And by great you mean humiliating to Steele?
Thomas Simon: Well no I meant....
Richie Rhodes: Yeah I thought as much, but seems like Adam Isn't gonna let that happen
In a sudden burst of energy Steele manages to spin around and kick Emi off, she stumbles backwards, but quickly regains her balance and goes back on the attack. Adam is barely back up as she charges, but with an animalistic roar and fury emanating from every fiber in his body, he launches himself towards her and takes Emi down with a high impact lariat.
Richie Rhodes: He nearly decapitated her with that one
Adam Steele is standing towering over his downed opponent, his hair hanging down over his face, but the rage still showing as he with furious movements pulls Emi up by the head and into position for the Steele Hammer
Thomas Simon: This could be it!!!
Richie Rhodes: I've been waiting all night to see this
Thomas Simon: Its the first match
Richie Rhodes: Still this is such an awesome move
Adam drills Emi head first into the mat with his finisher and takes his time as he goes for the cover
1...2...3 Ding Ding Ding
Honey Winters: And your winner Adam Steele!
Steele stands up as “Steele is gonna give it to Ya” starts playing, as he stands and stares down at his fallen opponent
Thomas Simon: Adam Steele with an impressive win over EMI!
Richie Rhodes: Poor Emi has been through alot these past couple of weeks
[Scene opens in Bob Herman's office as he sits there with the brunette from last week. Lucas King walks in]
Bob Herman: Ah Lucas just the man I wanted to see
Lucas King: You have some god damn nerve stripping Jackson of that belt
Bob Herman: Watch your mouth can't you see there's a lady present? Lucas meet Mrs. McKenzie. Jamie is my new assistant
Jamie McKenzie: Nice to meet you Mr. King
[She extends her hand but Lucas stares a hole through her]
Lucas King: Enough with the bullshit. How can you take away Jackson's belt
Bob Herman: I cant have a champion who doesn't play by my rules. And if you want to hold on to your precious television title I suggest leaving my office
[Lucas stares at Bob and punches his fist down on to the desk]
Lucas Pain: Sure thing... Boss
[Lucas storms out and Bob smiles at Ms. McKenzie]
Bob Herman: poor guy needs anger management
[“King of the Stereo” by Saliva plays loud to the arena as the crowd pops to their feet. The lights begin going insane. Brandon Nytrus walks out on to the stage wearing a suit and tie and sunglasses. He is smiling at the crowd’s reaction.]
Thomas Simon: Woah! Looks like we’ll be hearing from the Icon to start the show off!
Richie Rhodes: Oh great… After what happened two weeks ago? I’m still so peeved at this guy.
Thomas Simon: I bet you are, but to be honest… It was damn funny.
[Thomas begins to snicker.]
Honey Winters: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome, “The Hardcore Icon”… Brandon Nytrus!!!
[The crowd pops as Brandon struts towards the ring with a ton of confidence. He steps up the stairs and walks along the apron. He is smiling immensely. He stops and looks out to the crowd and raises his arms up. He enters through the ropes and grabs a microphone from ringside.]
Brandon: WOO! What a crowd…
[The crowd pops again.]
Brandon: Before I begin, I want to start by sending my deepest apologies to my dear friend, Richie Rhodes for two weeks ago.
[The crowd boos and he turns towards the announcer’s table.]
Brandon: Richie… I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurl Trey Baxter’s body across that table and into you. I know I should’ve done this last week, but I had bigger fish to fry. But, again, I’m sorry.
[Richie isn’t impressed. Brandon turns back to the crowd.]
Brandon: Okay, on to the main reason for why I’m out here. Last week, our GM, Bob Herman made a blockbuster announcement. That I will officially be going for the Sin City Championship at Goldrush.
[The crowd cheers.]
Brandon: What no one knew is that Jackson Blaze had to vacate the championship because he’s still on vacation with Bliss. In other words… Jackson is a little too scared that the Hardcore Icon is going to take his precious championship away from him. Now, I’m saying that it’s a guarantee that the only 7 foot man in the company was going to stomp all over the weak, pathetic, blonde haired princess that is Jackson Blaze. But I am just going to say that the fact is that bigger objects seem to squish smaller things. Humans are no exception.
[The camera pans out to show Brandon’s size. He pulls down his glasses a little bit and peaks out over the top of them.]
Brandon: And I’m no scientist and even I know that. You should too, Blaze.
[He smiles and pushes the glasses back up.]
Brandon: Which leads me to my next point, my actual opponent at Goldrush. “Double C” Chris Cable!
[The crowd boos.]
Brandon: I know, I know. You guys don’t like him that much. But, size difference aside, I believe that Chris and I are actually quite alike. Of course not our strength and agility, they are completely different. But, how we carry ourselves. How we fight. THAT’S, how we’re the same. We both LOVE to take it to the extreme. We love to hurt people. We take pleasure in making our opponents bleed and suffer. You guys just, happen to hate him and like me. Which, honestly, I have no problem with.
[The crowd cheers.]
Brandon: This is the first ever meeting between “C Double” and “The Hardcore Icon”, and what a venue for this first ever to take place! Inside a Steel Cage, for one of the most important championships of our company’s history. Should be good. But the thing I’m most looking forward is raising that championship when I step foot outside that cage and cementing my name in the MPW History books.
[They cheer. All of a sudden, “Light Up the Sky” plays from the PA and the crowd boos. Brandon turns towards the stage and waits for Cable to come out.]
Thomas Simon: Here comes Cable!
Richie Rhodes: He’s about to teach this brat a lesson…
Thomas Simon: Where is he?
[Suddenly, from behind Nytrus, Cable jumps over the barricade and slides into the ring. He clobbers him over the head and into the ropes. On the rebound, Cable turns Nytrus around and begins to clobber him with lefts and rights to the face.]
Thomas Simon: Woah!! Cable from the crowd jumps Nytrus!
Richie Rhodes: Get him, Chris!! Kick his ass!!
[Cable doesn’t let up. He keeps going. Nytrus pushes him off and he goes tumbling down but then right back up and back on the attack. He hits one last huge shot and Nytrus falls face first to the mat. Cable leaves the ring and goes down to ringside and under the apron. He grabs a chair and slides into the ring. He stands in front of Nytrus and measures him up while he begins to try and stand. Brandon slowly, but surely, stands up. Once he turns around, Cable swings. Nytrus ducks underneath and then grabs Cable by the throat looking for a chokeslam. Cable hits the forearm of Nytrus and he releases. Cable goes for a clothesline but Nytrus ducks and grabs his arm. He uses that momentum and lifts Cable onto his shoulders looking for the Endure, but Cable wiggles out and slides under the ropes and to ringside.]
Thomas Simon: WOAH!! What a sequence… I thought for sure that Cable was going to be toast there!!
Richie Rhodes: What a smart way to avoid that move! Don’t get injured before the main event tonight, smart.
[“King of the Stereo” plays again as Nytrus and Cable stare each other down. Brandon looks down at the chair and picks it up. He points to it and says something to Cable. They exchange a few words as Cable backs up slowly up the ramp and to the stage. Nytrus raises his arms up with the chair in his hand and the crowd cheers loudly. The scene fades out to black with the picture of Cable looking at Nytrus with the view of Nytrus in the ring on the titantron behind Cable.]
Match 2
Honey Winters: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from The Hampton's, ANGEL KASH!!!
[The fans begin to boo loudly as the opening chords of Round of Applause by Trina hits over the PA system, as the arena lights dim, and begin flashing all over, a gold carpet rolls out, and out steps Angel Kash who has a smug look on her face, as she is greeted by a loud chorus of boos! She smirks before striking a pose for the fans who are booing the arrogant young woman who just takes it in stride.]
Yes I talk shit, you weak toast, middle finger, speed off.
Bad bitch, big Benz, get money, fuck friends.
Bitch, I elevate, out in DCing,
I met the finish line where the game ends,
With my top off in my spaceship
I'm looking 3D, I'm in your face bitch.
[As she begins her arrogant supermodel style strut to the ring, trash talking, and taunting the fans as they boo her, she finally sticks her hand rudely out and puts it up to the fans to mean "talk to the hand!" As she slowly climbs the steps she yells at the ref to lower the ropes for her, which he does. She then does a bow, to taunt to the fans some more which only gets her more boos, as she climbs onto the second turnbuckle to do some more taunting, and then sits on the top turnbuckle, taking her ring entrance trademark black fur rope and hands it to the stage hand, as she lays on the turnbuckle nonchalantly, and her music cuts...]
Richie Rhodes: I heard that Ms. Kash is trying to recruit some worthy wrestlers to join her in her cause. Do you think she also needs an announcer?
Thomas Simon: In your dreams Rhodes...
Richie Rhodes: You’re right about that...
Honey Winters: And her opponent, weighing in at 240 lbs, from Omaha, NE, CROW!!!
[“March of the Fire Ants” by Mastodon starts to play throughout the arena. The lights go out in the arena, and the fans start to murmur. After about twenty seconds, the lights come back up, and Crow is standing in the middle of the ring, looking at Kash. Kash hopes down from the ropes, and seductively walks to Crow...]
Thomas Simon: Why do people have to do that?
Richie Rhodes: What, are you scared of the dark?
[The referee rings the bell as Angel Kash looks at Crow with a smile on her face, and how of nowhere, she cocks back and slaps Crow in the face. Crow head turns with the impact, and he slowly turns his head back to Kash, and he points to his other cheek. Angel looks around to the fans, and lets another slap with the opposite hand loose, but Crow grabs her wrist right before impact, pulls her to him, and clotheslines her. Kash rolls to the ropes and Crow watches her pull herself up up with the help of the ropes. As she stands, Crow rushes at her, and clotheslines her out of the ring. Crow quickly follows her to the outside, and after a warning, the referee starts his ten count. 1... Crow lifts Kash up by the hair. 2... Crow picks up Kash and drops her onto the outside barrier. 3...4... Crow grabs Kash’s arm and picks her up again. 5... Crow turns toward Kash and nails her with a side Russian leg sweep. 6... 7... Crow again picks Kash up by the hair. 8... Crow slides Kash into the ring and follows right under the top rope...]
Thomas Simon: Crow does not appear to be playing around tonight...
Richie Rhodes: I’m all for violence, but please, don’t hurt the face. It’s worth more money then you will ever see Crow!
[Crow stands by Kash as she makes it too all fours. She grabs at him as she pulls herself up, and Crow just lets her. Thinking on her feet, Kash rakes Crow’s eyes, causing him to back up along the rope. Kash takes a breath, and then grabs Crow’s arm, whipping him to the ropes, but Crow is able to reverse her and instead whips Kash. Kash rebounds off of the ropes, and ducks underneath a clothesline. As she does this, she grabs Crow’s hair and pulls down, hitting a variation of a neckbreaker. Angel slowly gets up, and starts kicking away at Crow. Crow eventually rolls to the ropes, and starts to pull himself up. Kash quickly moves behind Crow, and kneels on the back of his neck, and chokes Crow with the aid of the middle rope. The referee starts his five count, and Kash releases the choke after the referee gets to four. Crow, grabbing his throat, crawls over to the corner, and Kash follows. Kash starts kicking away at Crow, who is sitting in the corner. Kash then uses her foot to push on Crow’s throat once again, using the ropes for leverage. The referee counts to five again, and like before, Kash releases the choke at four...]
Richie Rhodes: Smart move by Angel Kash to utilize that five count to the fullest extent.
Thomas Simon: Well, normally I don’t applaud tactics such as that, but against a monster like Crow, you have to do whatever you can to survive...
[Kash backs up, and allows Crow to pull himself up to his feet. Kash rushes at Crow, and clotheslines him in the corner. Kash then slides behind Crow, and sits on the top rope. Kash grabs Crow from behind, and pulls him closer to into a sleeper hold. Kash tries to pull Crow up off of his feet, but he is able to grab the ropes with one hand. Crow lifts Kash off of the turnbuckle, but she is holding on to the sleeper hold. Crow throws himself backward, and Kash hits the turnbuckles, releasing the hold. Crow throws an elbow backwards, nailing Kash in the head. Crow steps out of the corner, and a dazed Kash comes up to Crow. Crow kicks Kash in the gut, and then sets her up between his legs. Crow lifts Kash up, and throws her into the turnbuckle with a powerbomb! Quickly after, Crow rushes at her and nails her with a big boot in the corner, and Kash falls into the corner in a heap. Crow grabs Kash’s leg and pulls her away for the ropes, and then hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2... KICKOUT!]
Richie Rhodes: Please Crow, don’t break that beautiful body!
Thomas Simon: Is that all you care about Richie...
Richie Rhodes: Is it wrong if I say yes?
[Crow looks up at the referee, and shakes his head. Crow lifts Kash up to her feet, and pushes her against the ropes. Crow grabs Kash’s arm and whips her to the opposite ropes, but Kash is able to hit Crow with a headscissors takedown on the rebound. Kash rolls to the corner, as Crow makes it back up to his feet. The referee tries to check on Angel, but Crow rushes at her anyway. Angel sees this, and pulls the referee in the way while moving into the corner, and Crow hits the referee full force, causing him to fall to the mat. Crow looks down at the referee and swears, but as he turns toward Kash, he is met with a low blow by Kash! Crow falls to the mat in pain as Angel stands up and smiles. Angel slides out of the ring and walks over to the timekeeper's table. From behind the table, Kash pulls out her “Trillion Dollar Championship Belt” that must have been stashed there before the match. Kash smiles again as she slides back into the ring, and waits for Crow to stand. As Crow does stand, he turns, and Kash rushes at him with the belt, nailing Crow right in the mask with it. Crow falls backward, hands over his head. Kash tosses her belt out of the ring, and then goes over to the referee, who is beginning to stir. She shakes the ref, and points over to Crow, before going over to him and pinning him with one foot on his chest. The referee slowly makes his way over to the opponents and starts the count of the pin. 1...................2..................KICKOUT!]
Thomas Simon: I can’t believe Crow kicked out of that!
Richie Rhodes: Talk about a slow count!
Thomas Simon: The referee was just run over by Crow, he just needs time to recover...
[Kash starts arguing with the referee, who holds up two fingers. Kash grabs Crow’s hair, and pulls him up to his feet. Kash chops Crow across the chest. Kash then grabs Crow’s arm and tosses him to the ropes. Kash jumps to hit Crow with a dropkick, but Crow holds onto the ropes, causing Kash to hit the mat. As Kash starts to sit up, Crow runs at her and hits her with a shining wizard knee strike. Crow then stands up and spits into his hand, and his mouth is full of blood from the belt shot. Crow looks down at his hand, and then at Kash. As Kash begins to stand and turn toward Crow, Crow slaps her right across the face with the bloody hand, smearing her face with blood in the process. Kash falls back into the ropes, but more than pain, she feels disgust, with the blood on her face. Kash starts wiping the blood off of her face, but as she is worrying about that, Crow kicks Kash in the gut, and pulls her into position between his legs. Crow hooks Kash’s arms, lifts her, and nails her with the Angel Eyes! Crow flips Kash around, hooks a leg, and goes for the pin. 1...2...3!!!]
Honey Winters: And your winner by pinfall, CROW!!!
Thomas Simon: That was disgusting. Who knows what kind of diseases that could be in Crow’s blood.
Richie Rhodes: I’m sure that’s not the worst thing she’s had on her face...
Thomas Simon: I lied, YOU are disgusting Rhodes...
[Crow quickly rolls underneath the ring and begins to dig underneath the ring for something .Crow quickly emerges with a hangman’s noose with barbed wire wrapped around it. Crow rolls back into the ring and measures up Angel Kash who’s slowly beginning to get back to her feet. Before she completely gets up to her feet, Crow lands the hangman loose to the back of Kash, sending her back down to the mat. She screams out in pain as blood begins to flow from her wounds that were caused by the barbed wire on the rope. Crow slams the rope on Kash time and time again until he stops as he grabs a microphone from the ring announcer. With a sick and sadistic smile on his face, Crow looks into the camera.]
Crow: “Diablo! It comes to my attention that you don’t speak. That you don’t show any type of emotion. Well Diablo, at Goldrush in our Hangman’s Horror match, I’m going to make you cry out to your personal God. I’m going to hear you cry out in pain as I make you bleed. Tears will trickle down your eyes and mix with the blood in the mat as I dig my fingers into your soul. Diablo! I’m going to show you that you are, in fact, a human being with some personal problems…….while I show that I am an individual whose only approach for resisting to be completely insane……is by being completely crazy. I’ll see you at Goldrush Diablo!”
[Crow reaches down and begins to put the loop of the hangman’s noose around Kashes neck, but Kash blocks it by poking Crow in the eye. Crow stumbles back with the rope still in hand. Kash quickly gets up and runs towards Crow and lands a clothesline that brings Crow to the mat. Crow quickly gets back up but is met with a dropkick by Kash. Pumped up, Kash sets Crow up for the Flow-Double knee facebuster. As Crow gets back up, Kash tries to connect but is instead tackled to the ground. With Crow on top of Kash, Crow connects with some well-placed punches to the face before taking the hangman's noose and quickly puts it around Kashes head. Kash struggles to take the noose off but it’s on tight as Crow gets up and takes the other end of the rope in his hand. Taking the other end of the rope, Crow begins to drag Kash around. Kash frantically tries to escape but can’t as Crow places a well planted boot to her head. Crow slowly takes Kash by the hair and lifts her up to her feet. The two are face to face now as Crow still has her by the hair now. He points to her, then over to the rope. Kash, who’s now blue in the face from the lack of oxygen, spits in Crow’s face. Crow, unfazed by this, pulls Kash by the head and is about to throw her over the ropes when the lights go out.
A few seconds past until the lights suddenly come back on to find Angel Kash gone and Diablo and Crow staring face to face in the ring. The two look at each other, neither one showing any type of emotion. The lights go off again, leaving the arena black. A couple of seconds pass until the lights come back on again to find neither individual in the ring.]
[Emi is seen walking down the hall to her assigned dressing room. She's skipping joyfully, her pigtails swinging back and forth. She gets to the door opens it and reaches for a light switch. Light floods the small room and a dozen beaty pupiless eyes look at her from various locations. Emi is frozen in fear as one of the large black birds turns its head and lets out a resounding shrill squawk. The other crows all chime in. Emi is slowly backing out of the room. The birds start to mill, ruffling the feathers on their wings and suddenly one takes flight, seemingly in Emi's direction. She screams and runs leaving the door open. ]
[The crow flies out of the room as the camera follows it. It turns a corner and lands on the arm of what appears to be a woman dressed in a traditional black burkah, only her dark eyes are seen but its obvious that she is throughly amused at Emi's plight. The scene fades out as she strokes the birds head]

Gabe walks out onto the stage smiling and nodding to the crowd. Gabriel begins jogging to the ring high fiving fans. Gabriel slides into the ring through the bottom rope. Circling the ring he acknowledges the crowd. Ending in the center Gabriel Flexes into a pose as the ring corners launch blue pyrotechnics into the air with a pop...]
Thomas Simon: The fans love Griffin ladies and gentlemen...
Richie Rhodes: Maybe the fans do, but I can’t stand him...
Honey Winters: And his partner, from Buffalo, NY, she is the self “World’s Greatest Diva”, CHRISSY STARR!!!
[Blue and purple lights flicker in the arena. “Call You Out” by Flyleaf plays over the PA, as Chrissy Starr comes out onto the ramp as the fans chant her name. Chrissy walks down the ramp, and as she does, she gives high fives to the children sitting by the ramp. Chrissy slides into the ring, and walks over to the corner, climbing up to the second rope and posing for the fans. Chrissy walks over to her corner, and starts to quietly talk to Gabriel Griffin...]
Richie Rhodes: Not a fan of Chrissy’s either, unless you only count parts of her, then I’m a big fan...
Thomas Simon: Oh keep it in your pants. Chrissy certainly can’t wait to get her hands on Jason X tonight after the brutal attack a couple of weeks ago...
Richie Rhodes: If she had any brains, she wouldn’t mess with Jason X again. Ever since he’s turned that new leaf, he’s as dangerous as ever...
Honey Winters: And their opponents. Introducing first, weighing in at 245 lbs, from Las Vegas, NV, the MPW Television Champion, LUCAS KING!!!
["Last Resort" by Papa Roach hits over the stereo system as Lucas King steps out onto the top of the ramp, TV Title draped over his shoulder, and pauses there for a moment as some pyros go off behind him. He smiles as he slowly walks down the ramp and into the ring, where he leans in the corner as he waits for the match to begin. The referee comes over to him to grab the TV Title, and King hands it to him, while watching Chrissy and Gabriel across the ring...]
Richie Rhodes: Here is a true champion, one third of Iconic Aggression!
Thomas Simon: Champion or not, he’s going to have his hands full tonight, especially considering the man who will be teaming with him...
Honey Winters: And his partner, weighing in at 190 lbs, from Las Vegas, NV, JASON X!!!
[As "Last resort" By Papa Roach begin to blast through the P.A. system, white smoke fills the entrance a figure steps in and can be seen in the smoke and Jason X stands at the top of the entrance with his arms up in an X form. He continues to walk down the ramp and enters the ring, he then climbs the turnbuckles and again puts his arms in an X form. Jason walks over to his partner King, but before he can even say anything, King steps between the ring and out to the outside apron. Jason shakes his head in disbelief as he turns toward Chrissy and Gabriel. Chrissy and Gabriel argue for a few seconds, until Chrissy gives off and goes to the outside apron of their corner...]
Thomas Simon: It looks as though Jason doesn’t have any friends in this match. King doesn’t appear to want to be his partner, and both Starr and Griffin are fighting over who gets the first crack at him...
Richie Rhodes: Chrissy made the right choice there, remember what happened the last time she was in a match against Jason X?
[Gabriel and Jason starts to circle the ring, sizing one another up. As Gabriel gets close to Lucas, Lucas reaches out, which distracts Gabriel. Jason takes advantage of the distraction and attacks Gabriel from behind, knocking him into the opponents corner. Jason starts kicking away at Gabriel in the corner. Jason tags in Lucas, and pulls Gabriel to the middle of the ropes. Jason chops Gabriel across the chest, and then whips him to the ropes. Jason moves out of the way, as Lucas gets into the ring and hits Lucas with a clothesline. Gabriel gets up and gets hit by another clothesline by Lucas. Gabriel gets back up, slower than last time, only to be kicked in the gut. Lucas delivers a punch that sends Gabriel back to the ropes. Lucas whips Gabriel to the ropes, and comes back, and ducks a clothesline. Gabriel hits the opposite ropes, and comes back with a flying forearm to Lucas. Gabriel rolls over to his corner, and tags Chrissy into the match...]
Thomas Simon: Slow start for the team of Chrissy Starr and Gabriel Griffin, but maybe momentum is turning around...
Richie Rhodes: Doubtful...
[Chrissy quickly gets into the ring, and kicks Lucas in the gut. Chrissy chops Lucas across the chest. Chrissy runs to the opposite ropes, and then comes back, leaping at Lucas, but Lucas is able to counter with a quick powerslam. Lucas gets up and lifts Chrissy by the hair. Lucas pulls her over to the corner, and tags in Jason. Jason comes into the ring, and kicks Chrissy in the gut. Jason then grabs Chrissy’s head and hits her with a vertical suplex. Jason goes for a quick cover. 1...2... KICKOUT! Jason stands up as Chrissy rolls over to the ropes. Chrissy pulls herself up with the ropes, but as she gets to her knees, Jason, pushes her throat against the ropes with his knee. The referee starts to count to five, but Jason releases the choke at four. The referee starts talking to Jason, and he starts arguing to distract the ref. As he does this, Lucas hops off of the apron, and pulls Chrissy’s head down over the middle rope, choking her again. Gabriel tries to get in the ring to stop Lucas, but the referee runs over to stop him from entering the ring. Lucas lets go of the choke, and hits Chrissy with a forearm, sending her down to the mat. Lucas hops back onto the apron before the referee turns back to the match...]
Thomas Simon: These two are pushing the boundaries way too far!
Richie Rhodes: It’s Chrissy’s own fault!
Thomas Simon: How is that possible Rhodes?
Richie Rhodes: It was her choice to step into that ring tonight...
Thomas Simon: I give up...
[Jason grabs Chrissy, and pulls her into the middle of the ring. Jason goes to grab Chrissy, but Chrissy rakes Jason’s eyes. Chrissy falls backward into her corner, and Gabriel blind tags in. Gabriel comes into the ring, and tries to clothesline Jason, but Jason ducks and grabs Gabriel’s arms, spinning him around and nailing the X-Driver II! Jason goes for the pin. 1...2... Chrissy tries to break up the pin, but Lucas is able to slide into the ring and nails Chrissy with the All In! … 3!!!]
Honey Winters: And your winners via pinfall, JASON X and the MPW Television Champion, LUCAS KING!!!
Thomas Simon: Wow!!! Impressive win from King and Jason X tonight!
Richie Rhodes: Did you have any doubt?
[Jason’s music hits, and he stands up, hands in the air in celebration, but as he turns around, Lucas is waiting for him, and nails him with the All In!!!]
Richie Rhodes: Whoa, did you just see that?
Thomas Simon: He just attacked his own partner after the match!
Richie Rhodes: Exactly, after the match...
[Lucas walks over to the corner, and yells for his TV Title. The timekeeper brings it to him, and he walks back to the middle of the ring. Lucas lifts the MPW TV Title above his head as his music starts to play throughout the arena. The MPW camera fades to a commercial break, as Lucas King celebrates over the three bodies littering the ring...............]
[scene opens with Bob Herman, comforting a very distraught Emi. He puts a mic to his mouth and begins to speak]
Herman: I've had enough of this nonsense. This mysterious woman is relentlessly terrorizing sweet little Emi here. She couldn't hurt a fly...
[Emi nods empathically]
Herman: I'm calling out this so called woman. I know you're back there....
[suddenly a woman's voice fills the arena]
unknown female voice: You call me out Mr. Herman...so out of respect I oblige.
[she appears at the top of the ramp, wearing the same black burka from earlier. She no longer has a crow on her arm but instead has a mic to her face]
Herman: Why are you even here? Who are you? I could have you escorted out of here by security....
[the woman cuts him off]
unknown woman: But you won't because you are curious who it is under this headpiece. You want to know who it is that has been showing what a coward your precious Emi is for the last few weeks...but be careful Mr. Herman...curiosity killed the cat you know...
Herman: That's enough. Reveal who you are!
unknown woman: I am not a roster member Mr. Herman. You cannot demand that I do anything. All you need to know is that I know that my dear sweet Taufik is infatuated with this.... girl.... and I merely wanted him and the whole world to see what a spineless pitiful excuse of a person she is. Not worthy of Taufik's affections. I will continue to do what I like until Taufik admits that i am his one true love...
[Emi starts to protest on the stage that she isn't interested in Taufik]
unknown woman *screaming*: LIES! You have been flirting with him like the skank you are. posting practically nude pictures of yoruself on that shameful social site, teasing him and all the other men here with your body and yet you claim to be innocent!? You deceive teh world with your act and my goal is to reveal you as the charlatan you are, once and for all.
[Emi takes the mic from Bob, he looks surprised at her behaviour]
Emi: I am just having fun. I'm not teasing anybody. I've never lied about anything. I don't know who you are lady but I'm going to kick your butt for everything you've done to me... nasty bugs and those birds with the creepy eyes. I didn't do anything to you. I would have even been friends with you if you had just talked to me like a normal person instead of hiding behind all those clothes. You call me a charlatan but yet I'm not the one cowering behind that mask. Why don't you tell us all who you really are... I think the only coward here is you.
unknown woman *chuckling*: My name is Laila Arshad and those are Brave words while you stand behind your General Manager, hoping he will protect you. you can't fight me. All I have done is given you gifts which you have refused. I have not attacked you since that first night therefore you have no reason to retaliate...
[bob cuts her off again by taking the mic back from Emi]
Bob: That's easily fixed. Ms. Mackenzie if you would please bring out that contract I started earlier...
[from backstage Jamie Mackenzie, Bob's newly hired assistant appears and she's holding a piece of paper and a pen. She hands them to Laila, who looks rather confused]
Bob: What you hold right now is a temporary contract for MPW. It's good until after Goldrush. See I anticipated that you would be the sort of person to use the law as a way to avoid letting Emi have her retribution so... sign that and you two will face at Goldrush
Laila: Is this what the little tart wants? To try and face me to get her revenge?
[Emi pulls bob's hand down. Bob looks a little taken aback. Emi talks into the mic while Bob is still holding it]
Emi: You deserve the butt kicking of a life time sister
[Laila chuckles again but nods her head as she hands Ms. McKenzie her mic and signs her name to the contract. She takes back the mic after]
Laila: It is done. But I fear you will not get the retribution you desire Miss.Yamamoto. You see I have been training for months. I wanted to prove to my love that I am worthy of him so since he loves this sport, I have taken a further interest. you will not find me an easy opponent.
Emi: Fine. I don't care what you say.
[Laila rolls her eyes and turns to leave before Bob stops her]
Bob: Wait...there was something I forgot to mention...
[She turns around again]
Bob: I guess I should have mentioned that there is a certain extra clause in that contract you just signed. You see that match at Goldrush, it's not a standard match, it's a match for your true identity. I have a feeling that there's a bigger reason why you are hiding behind that headdress so, if you should lose to Emi, the mask comes off and you tell the world who you really are....
[Laila's eyes go wide. Emi smiles and nods at her from the ring. Laila looks angry. She starts yelling...then stops and turns, looking right at Ms. McKenzie. Ms. McKenzie puts her hands up as she drops the contract and starts backing up from the advancing woman.]
Bob: What are you doing?
[Laila looks at bob for a second, winks and then grabs Jamie by the hair. She's screaming in pain and begging for her to let her go. Laila puts the mic to her face]
Laila: Since I am a roster member, then you should have no problem with this...
[She drops the mic and then brings Jamie's face down to her raised knee. Jamie is down. Laila bends down, picking up the mic and lifting the semi conscious head of the assistant by the hair]
Laila: Sweet dreams princess. this is nothing compared to what I have in store for you Emi at Goldrush.
[She drops the woman back to the ground, rises and walks away without a second glance at the shocked Bob and Emi, how are now rushing to the aid of the fallen woman]

Thomas Simon: Taufik finally broke out of his recent slump last week, defeating MPW newcomer Angel Kash in a very competitive match.
Richie Rhodes: I can’t believe he would ever hurt a hair on that Angel’s head!
Thomas Simon: It was a match Rhodes, not a pillow fight...
Honey Winters: And his opponent, from Detroit, MI. Weighing in at 180 lbs, and accompanied to the ring by Clay, one half of The Night Terrors, SAMUEL!!!
[The lights in the MPW arena go black, except for a lone large dark blue spotlight on the stage. The opening chords of “Sweet Dreams” by Marilyn Manson starts to echo throughout the arena. As the music starts to crescendo after the intro, Samuel steps out onto the stage. Samuel steps to the middle of the stage, and extends his arms to the sides, hands in fists. As he does this, the ramp and the ring light up to a dark blue. Samuel then starts to make their way down to the ring down the ramp. Samuel quickly slides in under the bottom rope. In the ring, Samuel smiles at Taufik, who is standing in his corner. The music slowly starts to fade away as the house lights come back on. Samuel stands in the middle of the ring as he waits for the match to get underway...]
Richie Rhodes: I don’t quite understand them, but there is just something I like about these Night Terror guys...
Thomas Simon: They are brutal, unforgiving, and show no mercy.
Richie Rhodes: Three of my favorite things!
[The referee rings the bell as Samuel and Taufik start to circle one another in the ring. Both men lock up in the middle of the ring, and Taufik quickly grabs Samuel’s arm and twists it into a hammerlock. Samuel grab’s Taufik’s wrist, and slides out of the hammer lock, and applies one of his own behind Taufik’s back. Taufik moves backward, pushing Samuel into the corner, and tries to grab Samuel’s head, but Samuel grabs the ropes, and the referee separates the two of them. As the referee does this, Samuel delivers a big right to Taufik, sending him back to the middle of the ring. Samuel comes out with a clothesline. Taufik gets back up quickly, only to be hit with another clothesline. Taufik quickly gets up to his feet with the aid of the ropes. Samuel is quickly on him, and tosses him to the opposite ropes. Samuel attempts another clothesline, but Taufik ducks and hits the ropes again. Taufik comes back arm Samuel attempts an arm drag, but Taufik is able to stop his momentum, grab Samuel’s head, and hits him with a spinning neckbreaker. Quickly, Samuel rolls out of the ring as Taufik stands up. Samuel grabs the back of his head as Taufik begins to taunt him from outside of the ring...]
Thomas Simon: Already a very competitive back and forth match here tonight Rhodes...
Richie Rhodes: I have a feeling we’re just getting started...
[As Taufik taunts Samuel, Samuel yells at the referee the get Taufik back so he can get back in the ring. Samuel steps up onto the apron, and Taufik goes after him right away. Samuel was expecting this, as he pulls Taufik’s head down on the ropes as he drops back to the outside mat, sling shooting Taufik down to the middle of the ring, grabbing his throat. Samuel quickly gets back up to the apron, and using the ropes, sling shots himself off of the top rope, nailing a down Taufik with a springboard leg drop. Samuel quickly covers Taufik for the pin. 1...2... KICKOUT! Samuel quickly grabs Taufik’s head and puts him in a headlock. Taufik is able to fight to his feet after about ten seconds of struggling, and he pulls both himself and Samuel back to the ropes, and is able to push Samuel out of the headlock and to the opposite ropes. Samuel comes back and leaps over a ducking Taufik. Samuel hits the ropes again, but runs right into a standing dropkick by Taufik. Taufik quickly gets up to his feet, and walks over to a standing up Samuel. Taufik kicks Samuel in the gut, and then grabs him by the head. Taufik positions Samuel and nails him with a fisherman's suplex, bridged for the pin. 1...2... KICKOUT!]
Thomas Simon: Great ring awareness to bridge the for the pin right there by Taufik...
Richie Rhodes: Hey, referee, slowdown you’re counts. You almost screwed Samuel out of this match!
Thomas Simon: What are you talking about Rhodes?
Richie Rhodes: The referee is scared of Samuel, it’s clear...
Thomas Simon: You know what, forget I asked...
[Taufik quickly stands up, and waits for Samuel to stand. As he does, Taufik slides behind him and attempts to hit Samuel with a German Suplex, but Samuel is able to flip out of the suplex attempt. As Taufik turns around, Samuel delivers a chop to Taufik’s chest. Samuel starts delivering a mix of punches and chops, until Taufik is back into a corner. Samuel grabs the top rope for leverage, and starts kicking away at the midsection of Taufik. As the referee starts counting to five, Samuel continues to stomp away at a now sitting Taufik. Samuel stops kicking as the referee gets to four, and walks over to the opposite corner. As Taufik pulls himself to his feet, Samuel runs at Taufik, and launches himself in the air, splashing on Taufik in the corner. Taufik gingerly comes out of the corner, and Samuel kicks him in the gut. Samuel grabs Taufik and nails him with a vertical suplex. Samuel looks down at Taufik, and goes over to the turnbuckle. Samuel climbs up to the top rope, but before he can settle in all the way, Taufik is able to stand up and falls onto the ropes, which causes Samuel to fall down, turnbuckle pad hitting him directly between his legs. Taufik walks over and climbs to the top rope, headbutting Samuel to keep him dazed. Taufik pulls Samuel to his feet, and stepping all the way onto the top rope himself, wraps his arms around Samuel. Taufik leaps backward, delivering a HUGE Super Belly to Belly Suplex off of the top rope to Samuel!!!]
Thomas Simon: Oh my God, look at the impact of that suplex off of the top rope!
Richie Rhodes: I’ve got to tell you, I don’t like Taufik very much, but that even impressed me...
[Taufik crawls over to Samuel, but Samuel rolls out of the ring. Taufik quickly follows him outside the ring, and starts kicking away at Samuel, who is down on all fours. The referee starts his ten count. 1...Taufik picks up Samuel, and tosses him headfirst into the announcer’s table. 2...3... Taufik grabs Samuel, and bounces his head off of the announcer’s table again. 4...5... Taufik grabs Samuel, and attempts to whip him into the stairs on the outside, but Samuel is able to reverse it, and sends Taufik crashing shoulder first into the metal stairs. 6... Samuel slides into the ring and stands up right by the ropes. 7...8... Taufik gingerly starts to stand up. 9... Taufik looks back to the ring, just as Samuel leaps over the top rope and crashes into Taufik, breaking up the referee’s count. The referee sticks his head out of the ring and and starts arguing at Samuel, who quickly picks up Taufik and rolls him into the ring. Samuel rolls back into the ring after him, and immediately mounts him. Samuel starts delivering elbows to Taufik’s head, who in turn raises his arms up to protect himself. The referee starts his five count, and again, Samuel ignores the count until the referee reaches four. Samuel stands up, and lifts Taufik up to his feet. Samuel whips Taufik to the opposite rope, who comes back right into a quick dropkick. Samuel climbs over Taufik, and hooks a leg, going for the pin. 1...2... KICKOUT!]
Thomas Simon: It looks as though the momentum has shifted back in Samuel’s direction...
Richie Rhodes: Where do you get your material Simon? The nineteen fifties?
[Samuel grabs Taufik by the head and lifts him to his feet. Samuel tosses him into the corner, and Taufik hits hard, resting in the corner. Samuel rushes at Taufik and jumps, but before he can connect with a splash, Taufik is able to move out of the way, causing Samuel to crash into the corner. Samuel comes stumbling out, grabbing his chest, as Taufik slides behind him and applies May Allah Be With You! Samuel starts to flail his arms around, trying to get out of the submission. Samuel eventually reaches behind Taufik’s head, and falls down to a sitting position, hitting Taufik with a jawbreaker. Taufik releases the hold, and falls back into the ropes. Samuel is slow to get up, but when he does, he sees Taufik against the ropes. Samuel rushes at Taufik, who ducks and pushes Samuel over the top rope with his shoulder. Samuel is able to hold onto the ropes and land on the apron. Samuel tries swing at Taufik, but Taufik ducks, and delivers a kick to the back of Samuel’s head. Samuel nearly falls to the outside mat, but Samuel holds on to the ropes. Taufik quickly grabs Samuel, and lifts him up in a stalling vertical suplex. Instead of falling backwards, Taufik drops Samuel forward, so Samuel instead drops stomach first on the top rope. Samuel flips over the rope and crashes into the ring. As Samuel is slow to get up, Taufik slowly backs up and waits for Samuel to stand up...]
Richie Rhodes: What is Taufik doing?
Thomas Simon: I think he has something dangerous in mind...
[Samuel slowly makes it to his feet, and as he turns toward Taufik, Taufik comes forward, attempting to hit Samuel with the “Surprise!!!”, but Samuel rolls underneath Taufik. Taufik turns into a kick to the gut, and Samuel quickly hooks both of Taufik’s arms and hits Taufik with the Fear’s Embrace! Samuel quickly hooks Taufik’s leg and goes for the pin. 1...2... KICKOUT! Samuel looks at the referee and can’t believe that Taufik has kicked out. Samuel swears in frustration, and lifts Taufik back up to his feet. Samuel kicks Taufik in the gut again, and again hooks Taufik’s arms. Before he can do anything, Taufik is able to slide out of the hooks and roll up Samuel in a small package! 1...2... KICKOUT! Samuel quickly makes it to his feel, and as Taufik stands up, Samuel delivers a kick to the back of Taufik’s head, sending him face first into the mat. Samuel rolls Taufik onto his back. Samuel quickly makes his way to the rope rope and leaps, nailing Taufik with the Bad Dreams! Samuel grans his own ribs, and pins Taufik with the other arm. 1...2...3!!!]
Honey Winters: And your winner by pinfall, SAMUEL!!!
Richie Rhodes: I told you Samuel had this in the bag!
Thomas Simon: Well, love them or hate them, the The Night Terrors are still undefeated here in the MPW. But what is Samuel doing now?
Richie Rhodes: It looks like he’s going to deliver a message to the MPW arena...
[“Sweet Dreams” begins to play throughout the arena, and Samuel gingerly gets to his feet. The referee goes to raise his arm, but Samuel pulls away from him. Instead, Samuel heads over to the corner near the ring announcer and yells for a microphone. Quickly, Honey Winter brings him one, but quickly steps back as he reaches for it. Samuel smiles at Honey’s discomfort, and grabs the microphone from her. Samuel gets back into the ring, and standing over Taufik, starts to speak...]
Samuel: Taufik, you’ve already fallen to The Night Terrors once, and now, you have fallen to me. We’re done with you, onto the next step...
[Samuel uses his legs to push Taufik out of the ring, rolling under the bottom rope and down to the outside mat. Samuel looks back up to the MPW fans and continues to speak...]
Samuel: Coming up in a matter of days is Goldrush, MPW’s next pay per view event. At this point, The Night Terrors are still without a match. So, since “MPW Management” is too scared to put people like my brother and I in a position of power, I have been forced to go a different route. Trey Baxter, I know you have the chance to pick your opponent at Goldrush. But instead of choosing a man to defend your MPW World Championship, you should pick up the phone and tell Bob Herman that in the main event of Goldrush, Iconic Aggression will square off in the middle of the ring against the only viable opponents left in the MPW, The Night Terrors, and that the MPW Tag Team Championships will be put on the line. Don’t make the easy choice Baxter, make the right one. See you all at Goldrush...
[All of a sudden, the lights turn out in the arena, and five seconds later, they come back on, with Samuel having disappeared completely, leaving behind the microphone laying in the middle of the ring...]
Richie Rhodes: I love it when he does that!
Thomas Simon: The Night Terrors have certainly been impressive thus far in their MPW careers, but I don’t think they have earned a shot at the main event of Goldrush...
Richie Rhodes: You’re just like MPW Management, trying to hold them back...
[The MPW camera fades away for a commercial break...............]
[The scene comes back with Bob Herman in the middle of the ring with Jamie McKenzie]
Bob Herman: WOOOOOOOOOOO WE ARE BACK TNT!
[The fans Woo and cheer]
Bob Herman: Before we continue I have an announcement to make regarding Gold Rush in just two weeks live on Pay Per View
Thomas Simon: Im excited!
Richie Rhodes: It's about time i have been wondering about this
Bob Herman: At Gold Rush there will be an 8 competitor Tournament to crown our first Gold Rush Tournament Winner.
