Thomas Simon: WHAT THE HELL?!?! HE’S BACK!!!!! Richie Rhodes: Yeah what is this like the 1000th time that’s happened? As the crowd is chanting] “WELCOME BACK! WELCOME BACK!” Rage: Well I guess….. “ONE LAST RUN! ONE LAST RUN! Months ago after my match against Johnny Clash I tried to come out here to give a goodbye but that was ruined but whack job Trey Baxter. Now I know you came out back then selling your whole “I’m a badass heel now” thing and it was fine….I was ok with it…..but just to let you know son…..everybody get’s one with me. Do that again and I drive your head straight through this canvas. [Crowd pops.] Rage: Alright Trey Baxter isn’t why I’m out here….I’m sure he just enjoyed hearing his name mentioned. Hell if I want to pick a pointless fight with him I’ll tweet him when I’m taking a crap next time. Now right down to business as I’m sure you’re all sick and tired of hearing about some overnight Walmart stock boy…..Last week I got a call that I really never expected….I was asked if I would accept an induction into the MPW Hall of Fame…..I couldn’t answer Yes fast enough. It was an absolute honor to receive that call as I didn’t even think I deserved it. But in the induction committees eyes I was more than deserving. I mean I was never a world champion here….but that’s probably why this place is still around. I just wanted to come out here and to personally thank you all for always supporting me whether I was eating powdered donuts or stealing briefcases you guys all made and continue to make this place something special. I feel honored and privileged to be apart of this years Hall of Fame class…..Thanks everyone! [Rage climbs to the ropes to raise his fists for the fans and taunt them one more time. The fans cheer but suddenly the lights dim] Thomas Simon: oh no... what is this [Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson begins to play as Night Terrors, both Samuel and Clay walk out on to the ramp. Rage just stares back at them confused. Clay and Samuel make their way down to the ring. They climb on to the apron and stare at Rage. Rage looks back and forth at them and then finally takes off the Leather Jacket and throws it aside. He gets in fighting stance and says "Come on!"] Richie Rhodes: Rage just signed his death wish! Thomas Simon: He better watch himself or he is never getting to the Hall of Fame! [The crowd begins to cheer as Johnny Clash and Madd Katt run down to the ring. Johnny pulls Clay off the apron slamming his face in to the apron. Madd Katt pulls Samuel down and delivers a violent Superkick. He picks Samuel back up and tosses him in to the steel steps. Clash kicks Clay in the groin and tosses him in the ring where Rage grabs him and delivers a One Last Run. The crowd pops huge for it as Rage taunts in the ring. Clash and Madd Katt slide in. Clay grabs on to the ropes and stands up groggy. He turns around and Madd Katt and Johnny hit a double Superkick knocking him outside the ring. The fans go nuts as the three men stand tall in the ring] Thomas Simon: Wow! Night Terrors just took a ride to hell! Richie Rhodes: Madd Katt and Johnny blindsided them! That wasn't fair! [Johnny raises his arms in the air as does Madd Katt on either side of Rage. Rage raises his hands as well. Johnny looks over at Madd Katt and smirks] Johnny Clash: Put your arms down, that was all me! Madd Katt: Who are you kidding kid? That was all me! Johnny Clash: I could have done that without you old man Madd Katt: You would be buried alive if I wasn't out here right now Rage: Guys! Madd Katt: You better check yourself Johnny. Johnny Clash: Me!? Rage: GUYS! [Bob Herman walks out on the ramp as Rage stands between Madd Katt and Johnny before they come to blows] Bob Herman: Wow, these two are fired up! Look at them go! Rage how ya doin buddy? Ya look great WOOOO [Rage stands between Katt and Johnny and smirks sarcastically at Bob] Bob Herman: Okay it seems that you two are just itching to get ahold of each other and High Stakes is only two weeks ago. So this is what I'm going to do. I want this match to be clean and fair. I want it called right down the middle. We need a special referee.... someone that will call it right down the middle. Someone fair.... a Hall of Famer... [The fans start chanting "RAGE RAGE RAGE RAGE"] Bob Herman: Rage if you accept! I want you two to stand between these two at High Stakes and officiate the match WOOOOOOOOOO [Rage smiles and nods as Johnny and Madd Katt stare at each other with Rage in the middle of them] Thomas Simon: That's huge! Wow! Richie Rhodes: Hey stop looking at me... oh. Yeah that is huge! [Crying Like a Bitch hits as the fans cheer. The scene fades to the Reloaded Video]
Thomas Simon: Welcome to Reloaded fans! This show is already off to a firey start and we have a lot more planned! Richie Rhodes: Let's get this show going! Match 1 [As "Monster" By Skillet begin to blast through the P.A. system, white smoke fills the entrance a figure steps in and can be seen in the smoke and Jason X stands at the top of the entrance with his arms up in an X form. He continues to walk down the ramp and enters the ring, he then climbs the turnbuckles and again puts his arms in an X form.] Honey Winters: Making his way to the ring, from Las Vegas Nevada.. the Television Champion Jason X! ["Breed" by Nirvana emerges from the speakers, lights begin to flash along to the drums of the song, the crowd erupts. Radke walks out of the curtain and looks at the crowd from a side angle. He slowly turns forward and begins to walk. He raises his arms out to the side with his palms facing upward. He makes his way into the ring in a basic manner. He goes up to the second turnbuckle and does that same arms out, upward palm taunt. Lights still flashing. He carelessly drops down to his feet] Honey Winters: and his opponent from Boston Massachussets... Chris Radke! [Awake and Alive by Skillet starts to play as Taufik hops his way towards the entrance ramp as he interacts with the fans by fisting their hands and even slapping their hands and when he slides to the ring, he throws his fist as the fans cheers him on as he awaits for his opponent.] Honey Winters: and their opponent from Singapore... The Savior Taufik! [[The three circle each other, all waiting for the other to make the first move. Chris Radke looks at Jason X, and then charges at Taufik, kicking him hard in the gut and going to work with right and lefts to Taufik's gut and jaw, before Jason X interrupts with a club to the back of Chris Radke, pounding him on the back repeatedly as he irish whips him to the ropes, and as Radke bounces back, Taufik hits him with a shoulder block, sending him to the mat. As Taufik turns around he is caught with a hurricanrana by Taufik, who gets back to his feet and waits for Taufik and Chris Radke to get to their feet, as he charges, ducking two clotheslines as he goes springboard on the second rope and leaps backwards, once again over both of them.] Thomas Simon: What a move right there!! He's using the avoid tactic, dodging any attacks from the heavier foes! Real smart from Taufik! Richie Rhodes: Maybe he is smarter than he looks. But then again, he looks like a dork, so that's not much of a compliment. Thomas Simon: Ignoring Bob, Taufik runs back at Jason and rolls into a hurricanrana position, but Jason X holds him there and waits for a moment, as Radke charges and Taufik hauls Taufik towards Chris Radke, and the two fall to the mat together, Taufik on top of John! [Jason waits for a moment, and as John pushes Taufik off of him and gets to a kneeling position, he charges, hitting a massive knee to the jaw of Chris Radke. As Jason goes down for the cover, Taufik springs to his feet and runs towards the pin, hitting a running dropkick to the side of Taufik' head and breaking up the pin in the process.] [Taufik drags Jason towards the ropes and pushes him against the bottom rope, pressing him hard into the rope and he uses the no disqualification rule for a short while as he releases and bounds against the opposite ropes, charging towards Jason X as he hits a massive running knee to the side of Taufik' head. Taufik gets back to his feet and pushes Jason X so that he's groin is pressed against the ropes with his arms hanging over the ropes and towards the fans, his body slung so that he is almost outside the ring. Jason stays there groggily as Taufik climbs to the top rope and prepares to go high risk. However, Chris Radke interrupts Taufik before he can jump, grabbing his arm and pulling him down so that he drops groin first onto the top turnbuckle. Radke grabs Taufik in a suplex position and climbs to the top rope, taunting the fans as he raises his fist high in the air and waits for a moment, before hauling Taufik's body up and over John's in a massive superplex, dropping Taufik onto the body of Jason X as they both go tumbling to the floor.] Thomas Simon: OH MY GOD!!!! What a superplex!!! You've gotta be kidding me!! Richie Rhodes: I'm not usually speechless...but wow that was incredible! Thomas Simon: Now look at the replay!! Taufik's back goes flying onto the back of Jason X' head and it slams onto the apron!! Incredible! Richie Rhodes: Hang on, Taufik is holding his back in real pain right now! I think Taufik's back hit that apron the wrong way! He's really in pain! Thomas Simon: This could be a real problem here, nobody likes to see a wrestler in that much pain because of a move, and to the credit of Chris Radke, what a move it was! That massive superplex just dropped John's two opponents! [Chris Radke looks across at the fans and grins almost maniacally, waiting for a moment before he climbs outside the ring and walks across to Taufik, hauling him to his feet as he clubs Taufik;s back with multiple forearms, lifting him to his feet and taking a couple of steps back, as he charges and hits a massive running clothesline. Radke then hauls Taufik back to his feet, bringing him towards the ring apron as he swings Taufik's mid-section forward, and then back into the side of the apron, and as Taufik's back crashes against the apron, Chris Radke turns around and meets a stiff right hand from Jason X who backs him up towards the ring steps and waits for a moment, preparing to his a spear into the barricade. But John catches Jason with a knee on the way through, attempting to throw him against the barricade himself.] [However, as Jason counters, and pushes John off of him, Jason attempts to charge and hit a running spear once again. Before he can get close, he is attacked by Ms. Biguns, who hits him on the back of the head with a steel chair.] Thomas Simon: Oh!! What a chair shot!! That's completely wrong, she shouldn't be involved in the outcome of this match! Richie Rhodes: Hey, it's all legal!! It's No DQ remember! [Chris Radke poses once again, before throwing Jason X back into the ring as he slides inside the ring himself, propping Jason up onto the second turnbuckle and he punches Jason, propping him up to the top turnbuckle as he looks for the anchor cutter. However, before he can execute it Taufik slides into the ring and hits a running dropkick to Chris Radke, waiting for him to get to his feet as he ducks under a clothesline. Jason hits the X Driver on Taufik and grabs him in a pin 1....2....3! Thomas Simon: Jason did it! What a win Richie Rhodes: Oh man that was a great match [Jason X takes his Television Title and stares at it. He holds it up in the air and puts his foot on Taufik's chest. The scene cuts to commercial] Match 2 [Christian Carter is in the ring in fighting stance as he awaits his opponent. His music plays behind him] Honey Winters: This next match is for one fall, already in the ring from Phoenix Arizona, Christian Carter! [Christian gives no reaction just waits. The music stops but Samuel's doesn't play. Thomas Simon stands up and grabs a microphone] Thomas Simon: Uh Christian, Christian. I'm sorry but I was just informed via my head set that earlier tonight Samuel suffered a concussion in the altercation with Madd Katt and he is incapable to compete tonight. [Christian holds the ropes and stares at Simon. He shrugs with a smug look and goes to exit the ring when "One Finger and a Fist" by Drowning Pool hits.] Richie Rhodes: what the... [Adam Steele and Jimmy Fatal walks out on to the stage] Thomas Simon: What is this? We haven't seen these two in weeks, for Fatal.. months! Richie Rhodes: They have bad intentions in their eyes [They climb in to the ring and smile at Carter. Fatal offers him his hand to shake. Carter stares at it and goes to walk out of the ring. Steele pulls him back and clotheslines him down. The fans boo] Richie Rhodes: OH! Thomas Simon: They came out here to beat on Carter! [Adam Steele takes a microphone] Adam Steele: Do you remember when we both first started here in MPW Carter? Do you remember the AA meetings we would attend together. We got better Carter we got healthier! We were unstoppable and we took this company to the next level. Now you are a pathetic drunk loser! You are nothing but a worthless piece of crap! [Steele takes the microphone and nails Carter in the head with it. The crowd pops as Tyler Axe runs down the ramp and slides in to the ring with a steel chair. Fatal exits but Steele gets nailed with the chair between the eyes. Fatal pulls him out of the ring and tends to him on the outside. Carter just stares at Axe above him with the chair. Axe drops it and leaves the ring leaving Carter and the MPW fans stunned] Thomas Simon: After all the times Carter turned his back on Axe, Tyler still comes to Carters rescue Richie Rhodes: How cute. Match 3 [On the lyrics "Kiss my eyes and lay me to sleep" Aeryn walks through the curtain and down the ramp way, running towards the end as the beat of the music kicks in. She jumps up on to the ring apron, grabs hold of the top rope and slingshots herself over in to the ring.] Thomas Simon: Oh! Close call there Richie Rhodes: but not close enough Thomas Simon: WOW WHAT A MOVE! 1... Richie Rhodes: Oh another kickout! Thomas Simon: This match is off the hook! Richie Rhodes: .... don't say that [Cable is somehow able to kickout! Aeryn seems very frustrated and begins to stomp on the body of Cable this time until the ref finally forces her to stop. Aeryn waits for Cable to make his way up and when he does charges at him and jumps up hooking Cable's head with her legs and attempts a hurricanrana but is caught by Cable at the top and slammed down hard with a powerbomb! They are both down for a few seconds until Cable finally starts to make his way to his feet. As he does Aeryn is trying to get up but is on all fours as Cable gets a running start and hits her with the KO Kick! Cable quickly goes for the pin!] Honey Winters: here is your winner... Chris.... [Cable grabs the microphone] Chris Cable: Here is your winner and future Roll of The Dice match winner.... and World Champion... CHRIS CABLE!! [Chris looks up and laughs as the fans boo and the scene cuts] Match 4 [The guitar intro to the song play as the lights drop and a light shines up from below filling out the silhouette of large man, “Along the lonesome highway, east of Omaha you can listen to the engine moanin’ out its one note song. You think about the woman or the girl you knew the night before… what’s that metronome I hear?” As the song ramps up the lights come up revealing Impaler standing at the top ramp as he looks over the crowd (now booing the big man) and smiles sinisterly as he pulls his mask over his face and begins to stalk to the ring. [Impaler uses his strength and breaks out of the Tap.O. Nytrus is favoring his arm as Impaler kicks him in the stomach. He sets him up for the BYL] Thomas Simon: No... this could be the worlds largers powerbomb! [He lifts Nytrus up slowly with all his strength and slams him down. Impaler drops down as well. He crawls over and pins Nytrus] 1.....2.......3! [Impaler sits up and starts to laugh sadistically. He leans on the ropes and flips backwards over them exiting the ring. He slowly walks back up the ramp. Nytrus gets to his feet and looks dissapointed. The ref hands him his Sin City Championship] Thomas Simon: Great match by both big men but Impaler picks up the win in this one! [Nytrus is standing on the second turnbuckle holding his Sin City title up with one hand, while his other rubs his head from the fight he was just in. Impaler is walking backwards slowly, staring at Nytrus with a wicked grin on his face.] Rhodes: That's how he does things! The Resistance has gotta be cringing! Match 5 [The bells rings as Madd Katt and Trey circle each other, Trey quickly jumps onto the offence with forearms to the surprised Madd Katt, he gives gives him a couple more forearms before kicking Madd Katt in the ribs to make him fall to the corner, Trey appeals to the crowd before running to the opposite corner before running at Madd Katt, Madd Katt realising the danger falls to his knees and rolls out of the ring in the corner. Madd Katt looks at Trey in the ring holding his nose while Trey perched on the second turnbuckle looking down at Madd Katt smiling.] Richie Rhodes: Look at this Madd Katt has come out and been surprised what seems to be a fired up Trey Baxter! [Madd Katt rolls back in the ring as Trey backs away, the ref is between the two until Madd Katt is back on his feet and in the opposite corner to Trey, they approach each other again but this time it's Madd Katt who comes out of the blocks with a stomp in the gut before unloading with rights, Madd Katt now with Trey barely on his feet mocks Trey before trying one last punch, Trey sees it coming and blocks it, he returns with punches of his own, Trey now pushes Madd Katt to the ropes before irish whipping him, Madd Katt is about to whip off the ropes before he holds on, Trey looks at Madd Katt in frustration as he runs at him, Madd Katt sees the incoming Trey and ducks to grab the legs of Baxter and flapjack onto the top rope. The crowd cheers as Madd Katt starts taunting Trey, he waits behind him as he gets up with the aid of the ropes. Trey gets to his feet and is met with a russian leg sweep by Madd Katt, cover. 1.........2. kickout. Thomas Simon: Some really nice moves there by Madd Katt, he seems to have his eye on the ball tonight. [Madd Katt gets Trey to a seated position in the centre of the ring before kicking his in the chest which makes Baxter fall to the mat back first Madd Katt than follows by dropping an elbow drop, Madd Katt gets up before dropping another elbow drop and then covers. 1..2...kickout. [Madd Katt looks in frustration as Trey kicks out, now Madd Katt stomps away at Trey before picking him up and placing him in the corner, Madd Katt than shoulder thrusts Trey before elbowing him in the face, he now places Trey on the top turnbuckle by lifting him, he now gives another right hand before going up to the top rope as well.] Richie Rhodes: What is going to happen here!!! Thomas Simon: Could this be it? [Cover 1......2.....kickout Some of the crowd jump up celebrating thinking that Trey had the win there, he slams his hands on the mat thinking it was three, Trey now raises to his feet and stomps away at Madd Katt, Trey lift Madd Katt to his knees before going to work with knees to the head, Madd Katt falls back as Trey now goes to the second rope , he waits momentarily for Madd Katt to stand up and dives at him. Madd Katt dodges out of the way as Trey rolls through after not finding the mark with the dive , both are to there feet and as they both run at each other Madd Katt slides and connects with the dropkick to the knee. Madd Katt gets up a little slower this time but when he does he spreads his arms out to the fans and then across his waist signalling for the world title. Madd Katt now grabs Trey by the head and drops elbow straight to the top of his head. Madd Katt follows up by locking in a body scissors centre of the ring. Thomas Simon: The body scissors when applied right can drain the energy of your opponent very fast because of the stress it puts on there ribs making them struggle for air Richie Rhodes: So in other words they are in pain? Thomas Simon: I am trying to be professional here Richie! [Madd Katt is forced to release the hold after Trey elbowed Madd Katt in the side of the head, both men get to there feet and Trey gets the first shot in with a forearm, he then tries an irish whip but Madd Katt reverses, Trey bounces off the ropes and is met with a kitchen sink by Madd Katt. Trey holds his midsection as Madd Katt walks to the downed body of Baxter grinning. he lifts him and then proceeds to put Baxter into the fireman's carry position. Richie Rhodes: Did you see how his head bounced off that guardrail!!!! [Trey gets up with the help of the rail while Madd Katt is still in the ring, he waits till Trey is to vertical basis and Madd Katt runs off the opposite ropes and connects with a heat seeking missle through the bottom rope, both fall to the ground as the crowd get into the match. After 6 seconds Madd Katt is able to get to his feet and roll into the ring and then out, this resets the referees count as he now picks Trey up and puts him on the apron. Madd Katt then follows and now both men are on the apron, Madd Katt tries to lift Trey but Baxter grabs the back of Madd Katt's head and hits a jawbreaker, Madd Katt is groggy on the apron as Trey now gets to his feet and then puts Madd Katt in-between his legs looking for the Lights Out] Thomas Simon: OH MY WE COULD SEE A LIGHTS OUT TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE RING!! After a couple of seconds both men are on there feet again but Trey is first to it and tries a roundhouse kick, Madd Katt ducks as Trey does a spin from the momentum of the kick, as he spins around he is met by a discus elbow by Madd Katt. Trey falls to the corner from the impact, Madd Katt seeing the opportunity taunts the crowd before going to the other corner to Trey, running at him and attempting the running dropkick in the corner. Trey with the wherewithal moves out of the way as Madd Katt connects with nothing but turnbukle. Madd Katt gets up with the help of the corner holding his neck as he turns around to a waiting Baxter who connects with a roundhouse kick to the temple] Thomas Simon: Roundhouse kick by Baxter, Madd Katt looks like he is out cold and this could be it!! [Cover Trey looks frustrated as he gets up telling the official it was three, Madd Katt is slow to his feet so Trey helps him to it, as he does Trey tries to go for Lights Out again but this time Madd Katt using his strength throws Trey over the top of him with a back body drop] Richie Rhodes: Everytime one of these men go for the Katt Skan or Lights Out respectively they counter it because these two phenomenal wrestlers know each other so well [Trey gets up holding his back as Madd Katt grabs him and put him in the suplex position and connects with a standing suplex but Madd Katt holds on and goes for the second which connects as well, Madd Katt still holding on comes back up with Trey to connect with the Three Amigos. [Madd Katt smiles before connecting with the Lights Out to Trey] Thomas Simon: LIGHTS OUT, Madd Katt STOLE TREY'S MOVE AND THIS COULD BE IT!!! [ Cover 1.......2.......kickout The crowd are cheering as Madd Katt gets to his knee and puts his hands in his face in frustration, he doesn't realize this but Trey Baxter is already behind him] Richie Rhodes: Madd Katt look behind you!! Trey is there and he doesn't look happy. [Madd Katt gets to his feet and wonder why the crowd are all booing he turns around to a ready Trey Baxter who kicks Trey in the side of the head with a roundhouse, but instead of letting him fall to the ground he puts him in the powerbomb hold and connects with Katt Skan close to the corner.] Thomas Simon: Katt Skan BY TREY AND THE COVER!!! 1...........2..........3 TREY WINS, TREY W. Richie Rhodes: Wait you idiot, Madd Katt has his foot on the rope before the three count, the match continues! [Trey thinks he has won momentarily but the ref turns his attention to the fact Madd Katt's foot was on the rope. He now shows frustration as he gets to his feet and lifts the body of Madd Katt and now Trey attempts the Lights Out but Madd Katt who is wriggling grabs the ropes before Trey could hook the arm, the ref makes Trey release the hold. He looks at the ref angrily before running at Madd Katt, before he can hit a move Madd Katt moves out of the way and uses the momentum of Trey to throw him into the steel pole shoulder first in-between the second and third turnbuckles. Trey sits in the corner holding his shoulder. Madd Katt waits for Baxter in the opposite corner as he with the help of the ropes stands up. Madd Katt waits and when Baxter gets up goes for a Superkick. Trey ducks it and hits the Lights out on Madd Katt!] 1.....2......3! [Trey’s arm is raised as he is handed his World Title. Trey lifts Madd Katt up and goes for another Lights Out. The crowd cheers as Roxi Johnson comes out from the crowd and hops the guard rail. She enters the ring and pulls Madd Katt out of harms way. She punches Trey and he stumbles back. The crowd starts to boo as Blaze runs from the back in to the ring and spears Roxi down hard. Laila too walks down from the back and climbs in the ring. Trey and Jackson stare at each other for a few seconds] Thomas Simon: Oh man... How is this going to end [Trey smiles as does Blaze and the three turn around and all raise their arms in victory as the scene ends] Match 6 - Steel Cage [When the opening of the song hits, Soul walks slowly from behind the curtain, standing at the top of the ramp as he surveys the crowd. Though still hidden in shadows, his silhouette reveals his impressive physique. Once the lyrics start, Soul walks deliberately to the ring. The cloak’s cowl obscures his face, but few in the audience notice as their eyes are drawn to his battle-scarred arms. In time with the bridge, the wrestler leaps onto the ring apron, pulling himself onto the second turnbuckle in one smooth motion. Looking at the crowd, he flips the cowl back just as the chorus begins. For a moment he scans the arena, soaking in the crowd’s adulation. Finally, he jumps over the top rope and into the ring, flipping his cloak to the attendants. The music cuts out as Soul bounces off the ring ropes, giving them a quick test as he awaits the start of the match.] Honey Winters: Making his way to the ring, From Boston Massachusetts, Soul Shadow! [The lights in the arena dim and white and red strobe lights fill the arena as Counting Bodies Like Sheep by A Perfect Circle begins to play throughout the arena. The arena fills with boo’s as Crow comes out dressed in his black wrestling gear. ] [Shadow and Crow each returned to their corners, staring down their opposition as the referee handed the title belt to a ring technician and the cage door was shut. The referee walked to the center of the ring and then called for the bell as the fans immediately cheered for the highly anticipated match. There was no hesitation from either man and immediately Shadow and Crow were charging at one another, locking up in the middle of the ring. Crow seemed to gain the early advantage by powering Shadow into a side headlock but no sooner had the move been locked in than Shadow was pushing Crow off and sending him toward the ropes. Crow however thought quickly and as he neared the ropes he was able to slow his momentum enough to instead suddenly begin to climb the side of the steel cage! Shadow immediately saw his error and ran after Crow, yanking the bigger man back down to Earth by one of his feet. The two began to exchange rights and lefts at an astonishing pace in a battle between speed versus power with speed being the momentary victor. Shadow got the advantage with a quick round of rights that sent Crow into the turnbuckle and in an impressive display Shadow backed up, ran, and leapt, using Crow’s own body to begin to climb up the side of the cage!] Thomas Simon: Quick thinking by Shadow here! Richie Rhodes: No! Not like this! [Crow seemed to have the same thought as he slowly stepped up and balanced himself on the bottom two ring ropes and grabbed Shadow by the waist, sending him crashing down to the mat in a huge powerbomb that left the ring and cage shaking. The fans were on their feet, mouths agape from the impact, as they watched Crow follow up his assault with several kicks to the ribs that left Shadow doubling over before dropping several elbows to the kidney’s and then went for the cover.] 1… 2… kickout! Thomas Simon: It’s going to take more than that to take that belt from Shadow. Richie Rhodes: Are you kidding? Shadow just got lucky. He probably had an itch or something. If he were smarter he would have just stayed down. [Crow gripped Shadow by the head and started to yank him to his feet but Shadow shot out of the gate with a huge uppercut that clocked Crow just under the chin and sent him crashing back into the side of the cage. Shadow leapt into an impressive standing dropkick that sent Crow’s head smashing even harder back against the twisted metal of the cage. Grabbing the back of his head Crow seemed to slump for a moment, his fingers moving to the back of his head and coming away red with blood.] Thomas Simon: Looks like the cage has opened up Crow. Richie Rhodes: Really? How did you know Sherlock? [Shadow smashed Crow into the cage again and began to rake his face back and forth against the metal side of the cage. Crow fell to the mat, clutching his face and Shadow added salt to the wound with a big knee to the back of the head. Crow crashed onto his back and Shadow took to the turnbuckle, glancing behind him for only a moment before taking to the air in a huge moonsault. Crow however saw the champion coming and got his knees up just in time to send them barreling into Shadow’s gut. Both men were down as several seconds ticked away. A slow trickle of blood could be seen coming from the corner of Shadow’s mouth. Thomas Simon: Uh oh, it looks like Crow’s knees might have done some internal damage to the current champion. He’s bleeding now too after that textbook but failed moonsault.] Richie Rhodes: Crow is getting this shot for a reason. Because he can think quickly on his feet both defensively and offensively. [Then there came more signs of movement from inside the ring as Shadow slowly began to slide toward the cage door, one hand holding his injured ribcage painfully. As the referees saw him coming they began to unlock the door. The fans were screaming in anticipation as Shadow reached the doorway but then from nowhere Crow was suddenly standing over Shadow and with one quick movement he slammed the cage door right on Shadow’s head!] Thomas Simon: Oh my God! Did you hear that?! [For a moment Crow looked at the door. This was his chance. He could walk out right now and win or… with a sick grin the bearded man told referees to shut the door!] Richie Rhodes: Now THAT’S confidence! Thomas Simon: Or stupidity! Crow would rather continue to punish Shadow than win this match! [Inside the ring Crow seemed to be setting up Shadow for his signature Death Valley Driver but then out of nowhere, perhaps even out of desperation, Shadow pushed Crow hard in the chest. Crow stumbled back and bounced off the ring ropes just as Shadow did the same and then…] Richie Rhodes: Double Clothesline! Both men are down! Thomas Simon: These two putting their bodies on the line tonight Bob. Both men look exhausted and are bleeding. This one could really go either way. [Then it happened. Crow started to show signs of life just as Shadow struggled to his feet. Slowly Crow made his way toward the cage door, his head bleeding more profusely now from all the abuse. It seemed to slow him either from pain or disorientation as Shadow grabbed the turnbuckle to help pull himself up. Then he began to climb.] Thomas Simon: It looks like this one is going to end up coming down to a race! Which man will make it out of the cage first?! [The fans were once again on their feet as the world watched Shadow climb and finally reach the top of the cage and stand, turning to see his opponent’s progress. Crow had just reached the door and the officials were unlocking it! For a moment Shadow looked down at the matted floor surrounding the ring and cage then back at Crow. A twisted grin crossed his face and their came a huge pop from the fans.] Thomas Simon: Oh no… Richie Rhodes: What? Thomas Simon: He’s not… Richie Rhodes: What? He’s not what? [Shadow turned so his body was once again facing into the ring.] Thomas Simon: Oh my God, he is…! Richie Rhodes: He is WHAT? Thomas Simon: Don’t do it Shadow! Just climb out! Don’t do it! Richie Rhodes: DO WHAT?! Draw me a picture! Charades! Something! [Without another moment’s hesitation Shadow launched himself from the top of the cage, flying high with an elbow drop on to Crow!] 1…2… Thomas Simon: Soul Shadow Did It! OH NO HE KICKED OUT! [Soul Shadow pounds on the mat and is slow to get up] Richie Rhodes: he got cocky... he could have won it there Thomas Simon: OH NO! [The lights suddenly go out as the fans buzz. When they come back on Night Terrors are outside the ring trying to claw their way in. The referee is drawn to them and yelling at them to step away from the cage.] Thomas Simon: Turn around! [Soul Shadow turns around and Impaler is behind him. He wraps his hands around his throat and goes for the chokeslam. The referee turns around in time and catches him in the act and calls for the bell!] Honey Winters: here is your winner via disqualification... Soul Shadow! [Impaler slams him down to the mat as Crow looks on with pleasure.] {As Samuel and Clay slide into the ring, Impaler and Crow stand over the fallen Soul Shadow, who is struggling to regain his senses. The ref tries to intervene, only to be unceremoniously tossed face-first into the steel mesh by Clay, mercifully knocking him out. As Soul gets to his knees, he finds himself surrounded by the Damned quartet. Smiling wickedly, Crow bends down to get right in Soul’s face, mouthing threats. Now standing, his opponent quickly surveys the scene as both Impaler and Clay press in from the sides while Samuel stands silently behind him. Soul scowls at Crow, then delivers a vicious elbow to Clay, catching the big man off-guard. Before anyone else can react, he bull-rushes Crow, slamming him hard into the wall. Moving swiftly, he dives for the door. Samuel grabs his arm to cut him off, only to receive a punch to the jaw.} |
