Staples Center - Los Angeles California

[The pyro hits as the fans get on their feet. The theme song to Reloaded continues to play as the scene cuts through the fans to the Announcers table]

Thomas Simon: Welcome to Sunday Night Reloaded! We have an amazing line up for you tonight

Richie Rhodes: You will only see talent like this here in MPW ladies and gentlemen

Thomas Simon: And only here! We are going to start it off with Johnny Clash and Crow going one on one!

Richie Rhodes: This one will be one for the ages!

Match 1

[The lights in the arena dim and white and red strobe lights fill the arena as Counting Bodies Like Sheep by A Perfect Circle begins to play throughout the arena. The arena fills with boo’s as Crow comes out dressed in his black wrestling gear. ]

Honey Winters: “Coming in from Omaha, Nebraska! Standing at 6’4 and weighing in at 240 pounds. He is the Angel of Death!.......he is CROW!”

[Crow slowly makes his way down to the ring steps and makes his way up to the ring apron. Making his way into the ring, Crow makes his way to the other side of the ring and jumps on top of a turnbuckle and perches himself on top of it as he waits for the match to start.]

[Perfect Life by Red hits as the fans cheer. Johnny appears on the top of the aisle in the 100's section of the crowd. He makes his way down in his Resistance T-shirt and ring gear. He hops the guard rail and stares at crow in the ring before climbing up the steel steps quickly and hopping over the ropes in to the ring. He spins with his arms out and stares at crow]

Thomas Simon: Kicking off this show the right way!

Richie Rhodes: It's going to be a good one!

[As the bell rings the two go straight into the collar and elbow, Clash quickly gaining the upper hand forcing Crow back into the corner. Johnny Clash goes for the clean break, and takes a few steps backwards, as Crow tries to stare him down, while moving out of the corner. They lock up again; Clash once more gains the advantage going behind into the waist lock. Crow somehow manages to grab hold of the ropes, again Johnny releases his hold and steps back. Slowly Crow walks towards the center challenging Johnny Clash to a test of strength. Hesitant Johnny looks to the crowd, before carefully reaching out towards Crows hand. They lock up with their rights, but before Clash can react Crow kicks him in the midsection and spins into an Irish Whip, but Johnny Clash stands firm and reverses pulling Crow right into a clothesline that sends him to the mat.]

Thomas Simon: Clash establishing his power early on!

[Crow scrambles to his feet and right into a hip toss from Johnny, sending Crow right back on the canvas, Clash follows up locking Crow's right arm in a hammerlock, twisting his opponent onto his stomach. He keeps on the attack with a couple of knee's to the arm, before spinning around on top of Crow into a front headlock. Slowly Crow is dragged to his feet by the head, before Johnny Clash again, goes behind and sends Crow to the mat with a beautiful backdrop, he covers...1... Crow kicks out and quickly rolls out of the ring, eyeballing Johnny in the ring, as he searches for an opening. Clash walks over to the ropes and holds them open inviting Crow back in. Crow not finding amusing at all as he throws a tantrum, before sliding back in. They meet up in the center of the ring going for another lockup, but Crow goes for the eyes, Clash staggers back as Crow launches himself at him with a flying for arm and Johnny’s down]

Richie Rhodes: There we go….Crow is ahead now and once he starts he never let’s up!

[Crow keeps on the attack stomping away on his opponent, he grabs a hold of the rising Clash and drags him up, driving him into the ropes with a series of rights, before landing a hard knee to the gut of Johnny, grabbing the head Crow goes for Crowizer, but Clash pushes him of. Johnny shakes his head and charges, just as Crow spins around trying to get a boot up, but Clash catches it, Crow is hopping around on one leg, he goes for the Enziguri, but Johnny Clash ducks under and jumps forward into the side headlock as Crow hits the mat. Crow rolls over placing Johnnys shoulder on the mat...1... Clash rolls back, slowly the two get up, Johnny Clash keeping his hold on Crow's head, before spinning around and into a double chicken wing, lifting Crow into the air and sending him face first into the mat, with a facebuster, Clash covers.]

Thomas Simon: WOW! Devastating impact there by Clash!

[...1...2. Crow kicks out, and once again goes for the eyes, Clash staggers backwards as Crow gets to his feet with a viscous look on his face, Crow charges taking Clash to the mat with a spear. Crow follows up pounding away on Johnny, before dragging him back up and into the corner. Crow starts thrusting his shoulder into his opponent’s abdomen, pressing the air out of Johnny Clash. Quickly he grabs Clash’s head and sends him over with a snapmare, Johnny Clash lands sitting, Crow grabs a hold of Johnnys head and floats over letting Clash’s head snap back into the turnbuckle, Clash seems out of it as Crow drags him out of the corner and goes for the pin]

Thomas Simon: This is such a good match. Say what you want about Crow but he can sure bring it when he steps through those ropes.

[...1...2... Johnny Clash’s shoots the shoulder up, Crow looks at his opponent in disbelief, dragging him up and lifting him onto his shoulders for the Death Valley Driver, but Clash fights back landing a hard elbow the side of the head of Crow. Crows legs starts to buckle as he lets Clash back down. Johnny swiftly whips Crow into the ropes setting up for a back body drop, but Crow leapfrogs over, landing behind Johnny Clash with a big grin on his face and arms raised in a taunt. Clash spins and catches Crow off guard locking in a Full Nelson, hoisting Crow into the air and slamming him to the mat. Crow moves around arching and holding his back in pain. Clash shows no mercy forcing his opponent back to his feet and scoops him up and drops him down over the knee with a backbreaker. Johnny Clash lets go of Crow who slowly rolls of his knee and down on the mat. Johnny looks to the crowd signalling the ending with a cut throat motion as he grabs Crow and drags him to his feet, setting up for the Bloodline.]

Thomas Simon: Oh Clash could have him here!

Richie Rhodes: He is going for the Bloodline!

[A huge red pyro goes off on the stage as the lights turn red and dark. Turn The Page by Eric Minnesota hits as Johnny looks to the stage confused. A big man in black and red tights and a bald head walks out from backstage. He makes his way to the ring. The referee leans on the ropes telling the man not to interfere]

Thomas Simon: Who is this guy!?

Richie Rhodes: He’s Huge!!!

[Crow drops to his knee's and lands a low blow, sending Clash to the mat, Crow capitalizes rolling Johnny up, The referee goes down to check the shoulders, as Crow use the ropes for leverage....1...2...3 ding ding ding, Crow quickly lets go and rolls out of the ring.]

Thomas Simon: That dirty no good! What a way to ruin a match!

Richie Rhodes: a win is a win

[Johnny lays in the ring holding his groin as the big man steps on to the apron. Crow is barking orders at this man calling him “The Impaler.” He climbs over the top rope and stalks Johnny with his hand up in the air. The fans cheer as Madd Katt runs out from the back and nails Crow with a forearm from behind sending him down. He slides in the ring and comes face to face with Impaler looking for a fight. Johnny gets to his feet slowly but stands next to Madd Katt. The Impaler starts to laugh and raises his arms up in to the air. He drops them down as a huge pyro explodes from the turnbuckles. The lights go out and when they come back on Crow and The Impaler are gone. Madd Katt is behind Johnny. Johnny turns around and Madd Katt goes for a Superkick. Johnny drops down to his butt to avoid it but Madd Katt stops before going through with the kick. He laughs at Johnny]

Madd Katt: You owe me one...

{The shot moves to the locker room area of the Staples Center. Soul Shadow is sitting on a bench, lacing up his right boot in final preparations for the upcoming match. Behind him, Aeryn Ashfield is leaning against the lockers, looking extremely relaxed. Despite their partner’s absence, they are discussing strategy for the upcoming match.}

Soul: So remember, keeping the tempo up on Radke is key. We need lots of tags and quick strikes to keep him off his toes. If we hit him with a few of those double-teams we practiced, we should keep him off-balance.

{Aeryn nods affirmatively, though she absent-mindedly inspects her nails while listening.}

Aeryn: And Emi? I think we ought to keep her grounded.

Soul: Exactly. She has great aerial prowess, but on her feet, she can be overpowered. Get her on the mat and we have her.

{As Soul finishes with his boot, Aeryn pushes off the locker and steps in front of her partner.}

Aeryn: And Taufik?

Soul (with a sigh): As much as I hate doing it, we’d be foolish not to take advantage of his injured leg. If you get him the ring…

{A shadow suddenly falls across Soul’s face, cutting him off abruptly. Both he and Aeryn look to their right. Following their gaze, the camera pans left to show the reigning MPW Television Champion Jason X standing next to them. He looks ready for battle, his title belt slung over his shoulder. Even though he is the duo’s partner tonight, he looks at Aeryn and Soul with complete disdain. Finally, he speaks.}

Jason: Taufik is mine and no one else’s. You’d do well to remember that and stay the fuck out of my way. Got it?

{Aeryn starts to give an angry retort, but Soul gently grabs her arm to stop her.}

Soul: Got it.

{Jason glares at the pair one more time before exiting. Aeryn angrily pulls her arm out of Soul’s grasp. She whirls around, looking defiantly at her partner as he stands from the bench. Calmly, he meets her gaze before looking towards the exiting champion.}

Soul: Time and place, Aeryn. He’s got a big title defense ahead of him at High Stakes, so we’ll let him do his thing. So long as it doesn’t cost us a victory in this match.

{Aeryn nods before walking out of the scene with Soul quickly following. The camera focuses on the lockers briefly, then switches back to the arena.}

Match 2

[The lights in the MPW arena go black, except for a lone large dark blue spotlight on the stage. The opening chords of “Sweet Dreams” by Marilyn Manson starts to echo throughout the arena. As the music starts to crescendo after the intro, Samuel steps out onto the stage. Samuel stands in the middle of the stage, and extends his arms to the side, hands in fists. As he does this, the ramp and the ring light up to a dark blue. Samuel then starts to make his way down to the ring down the ramp. As he gets to the ring, Samuel quickly slides under the bottom rope to get into the ring. Once in the ring, Samuel does the same pose that he did on the stage moments earlier. The music slowly starts to fade away as the house lights come back on. Samuel heads to his corner and waits for the start of the match...]

Honey Winters: Making his way to the ring... One half of The Night Terrors.. Samuel!

["Dragula" plays over the PA as Tyler Axe comes to the stage area, he looks at the crowd and throws his hand up before going to the ring. After highfiving the fans he jumps into the ring and goes to the middle turnbuckle and places both thumbs over his throat before doing the cutting motion before chucking both arms in the air]

Honey Winters: And his opponent.. from New York, New York.. Tyler Axe!

[The bell rings as Tyler and Samuel come together. They immediately trade right hands repeatedly until Samuel finally gets the upper hand as a hard right sends Tyler down the the mat. Tyler quickly bounces back to his feet but he's immediately hit with a hard clothesline that sends Tyler down hard. As Tyler makes his way to his feet his hit with a boot to the stomach followed by a DDT. The former TV champion has taken complete control of this match. He goes for the pin. 1...2..kickout! Tyler kicks out! Samuel sits up as he gives the ref a pissed off look before beginning to stomp on Tyler! After a few hard shots the referee pulls Samuel off. Samuel pulls the referee off him before walking back over to Tyler who is trying to get to his feet. Samuel grabs Tyler by the arm and tries to whip him into the ropes but Tyler reverses it and sends Samuel flying into the ropes.]

Thomas Simon: Good reversal by Tyler

Richie Rhodes: These two are very evenly matched

[As Samuel bounces off the rope he tries to hit Tyler with a clothesline but Tyler ducks under it, bounces off the ropes, and then hits Samuel with a hard spear! He falls onto Samuel for the pin. 1...2..kickout! Samuel kicks out! Tyler slowly gets to his feet and picks up Samuel before grabbing him around the waist and suplexing him halfway across the ring. He quickly gets to his feet as Samuel is slowly trying to make it to his. Tyler decides to climb up to the rope rope as he waits for Samuel to get to his feet. As Samuel gets to his feet and turns around Tyler jumps off and connects with a flying clothesline! ]

Richie Rhodes: a great move by Tyler Axe!

Thomas Simon: Tyler has so many moves in his arsenal

[He hooks Samuels leg for the pin! 1...2..kickout! Samuel does it again! Tyler site up as he is frustrated by not being able to get the win. He stomps on the still fallen Samuel before picking him up, grabbing him by the head and holding him there for a moment before hitting him with a moonsault! This might be over! He sits there with a smile on his face before pinning Samuel. 1...2..kickout! Samuel somehow kicks out yet again. Tyler stands up and begins to argue with the ref for a few seconds before deciding to climb up to the tope rope yet again. He climbs up, stands straight up, and then jumps off going for a frog splash but Samuel rolls out of the way! Tyler connects with the mat and immediately grabs his stomach in pain!]

Thomas Simon: It doesn't work the second time for Tyler!

[They both lay there for a few moments before they finally begin to make their way to their feet. The fans begin to cheer as they come together and begin to exchange punches just like they did at the beginning of the match. This time Tyler nails with a hard left followed by a hard right that sends Samuel down. Samuel quickly gets to his feet meanwhile Tyler bounces off the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Samuel ducks under and then kicks Tyler in the stomach before hitting him with the Fear’s Embrace! Samuel hooks Tylers leg for the pin!]

1....2......3!

[Samuel gets to his feeFt slowly staring at Tyler]

Honey Winters: Here is your winner, Samuel!

[as Samuel sits in the ring smiling sadistically after his win Clay comes out and picks Tyler up. He clotheslines him down hard and kicks him out of the ring. They both follow. Clay and Samuel confer before putting Tyler in to position for a powerbomb. The crowd starts to cheer as Christian Carter walks down the ramp in a leather jacket with the hood up. He makes it to the bottom as Clay and Samuel look back at him. Carter slowly turns around and starts to walk back up the ramp as the fans boo him. Clay turns back around and Samuel helps him pick Tyler up. They deliver a double powerbomb to Tyler through the announce table. Carter takes one more look before walking back past the curtain completely]

Thomas Simon: Oh man! Tyler is broken in half right in front of us!

Richie Rhodes: Some tag partner. Christian Carter wanted nothing to do with this

Match 3

Honey Winters: The following match is a six-man tag team match, scheduled for one fall!

{"Breed" by Nirvana strikes the speakers, bringing the Staples Center crowd to their feet.}

Honey Winters: Introducing team number one! First, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing 215 lb… CHRIS RADKE!!

{Chris walks onto the stage wearing a Bad Religion t-shirt, pausing to look at the Los Angeles crowd. He gives a quick smirk before dashing down to the ring. Once there, he pulls himself onto the ropes and raises his arms to the crowd. They respond with cheers before he jumps down to await his partners.}

Honey Winters: Second, from Osaka, Japan, “The Millennium Pro Warrior”… EMI YAMAMOTO!!!

{"Hekira no Sora e Izanaedo" echoes across the arena. The fans are on their feet in excitement as Emi Yamamoto reveals herself on the stage. She blows the fans a kiss and raises her hands to show her appreciation for their support. She skips down the ring waving to her fans with a smile on her face. After giving high fives to a couple of nearby fans, Emi jumps onto the ring apron where she turns to face the crowd. She blows them another kiss before she scissor jumps over the top rope and into the ring. She jumps onto the nearest turnbuckle and waves to her fans once more before jumping back onto the mat.}

Honey Winters: Third, from Tampa, Florida… here is “Franchise”… TAUFIK!!!!

{“Awake and Alive” by Skillet starts to play throughout the arena as Taufik makes his way towards the entrance ramp. Taufik’s left knee is still bandaged, but Taufik walks down the ramp and interacts with the fans by bumping fists and even slapping their hands. Taufik gets to the end of the ramp and slides to the ring. Taufik throws his fist into the air as the fans cheer him on. He then shakes hands with his partners as they await their opponents.}

Honey Winters: And now for team number two! First, from London, England… AERYN ASHFIELD!!!

{“Prelude, 21/12” by AFI hits as the fans cheer. Aeryn Ashfield comes out to the ramp and raises her arms. She walks down the ramp and climbs up on to the steel steps. She climbs through the ropes and poses in the ring, keeping an eye on her opponents while awaiting her partners.}

Honey Winters: Second, from Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 255 lb… SOUL SHADOW!!

{As the opening of “Made of Scars” by Stone Sour hits, Soul walks slowly from behind the curtain. He remains hidden in shadows until the lyrics start, then he walks deliberately to the ring. The cloak's cowl obscures his face, but few in the audience notice as their eyes are drawn to his battle scared arms. In time with the bridge, the wrestler leaps on to the apron, pulling himself onto the second turnbuckle in one smooth motion. Looking at the crowd, he flips the cowl back just as the chorus begins. For a moment he scans the arena, soaking in the crowd’s adulation. Finally, he jumps over the top rope and into the ring, flipping his cloak to the attendants. The music cuts out as Soul walks over to Aeryn, talking to her briefly before the match.}

Honey Winters: Finally, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing 190 lb… the current MPW TELEVISION CHAMPION… JASON X!!!

{As "Monster" by Skillet begins to blast through the P.A. system, white smoke fills the entrance. A dark figure steps out and can be seen in the smoke. As the smoke clears, Jason X is standing on the stage, wearing his title belt around his waist. He stands at the top of the entrance with his arms up in an X form. Then he takes the title belt from his waist and holds it up for the crowd, earning their disdain. Jawing at the fans, Jason continues to walk down the ramp and enters the ring. He climbs the turnbuckles, throws the title belt onto his shoulder, and again puts his arms in an X form. Finally, he hops off of the turnbuckle and walks over to his corner, stretching with the ropes to prepare for this match while ignoring his partners.}

Thomas Simon: Unlike the team of Chris, Emi, and Taufik, Jason seems to not be quite as in sync with his partners.

Richie Rhodes: Unlike everyone else in this match, Jason is the one in least need of help. He is already a champion, after all!

{The referee brings everyone to the middle of the ring to discuss the rules for the match. Once done, Soul Shadow extends his hand to his opponents in a gesture of good sportsmanship. Aeryn is hesitant, but quickly follows her partner’s lead, shaking hands with all three members of the opposing team. By contrast, Jason X refuses to do so. Instead, he holds the Television title belt right in front of Emi’s and Taufik’s faces, telling them they will never take the belt from him. He then steps outside to the ring apron, handing his belt to the ring attendant.}

Thomas Simon: Bad sportsmanship by the champion right there!

Richie Rhodes: What are you talking about? Those two are going to try and defeat him for the belt at High Stakes! He’s just reminding them who is the reigning champ!

{Soul shrugs his shoulders at his partner’s actions and follows him to the apron, leaving Aeryn to start the match. Across the ring, both Chris and Taufik exit to the outside, meaning Emi gets to start. The two women circle each other, looking for an opening. Finally, in a show of bravery, Emi lunges forward and locks up with the bigger wrestler. Aeryn takes immediate advantage of her greater height and weight, shoving Emi backwards and sending her sprawling across the mat. A look of surprise crosses the Japanese star’s face. Aeryn dares Emi to come at her again. Emi bounces off the ropes and charges, only to be knocked down by a hard shoulderblock. Unfazed, Emi gets up and bounces off the ropes again. Aeryn this time tries for a clothesline, but Emi ducks under it. She hits the ropes on the opposite side and rebounds, looking to deliver a boot to the face. Aeryn catches her outstretched foot, but before she can take advantage, Emi counters with a wicked enzuigiri. Aeryn spins around, stunned by the blow. Quickly, Emi grabs her opponent’s arm and flips her with an armdrag. Aeryn swiftly gets to her feet, only to fall victim to the same move. Aeryn once again manages to regain her footing, but is this time met with standing dropkick from Emi, knocking her backwards into her corner. Chris and Taufik work the crowd while Emi beams in the center of the ring.}

Thomas Simon: Flurry of offense from the future TV title challenger! She’s looking to be in perfect form.

Richie Rhodes: She ought to be glad it wasn’t Jason in the ring. He’d definitely show her a thing or two!

{As Aeryn rubs the back of her head, trying to get her bearings, she sees the outstretched hand of Soul Shadow in front of her. Reluctantly, she tags it, allowing him into the ring. At that moment, Chris yells for Emi to give him a tag. The lady obliges and Chris vaults himself over the top rope. The two grapplers size each other up in a rematch from the previous week. Soul once again extends his hand to his friendly rival, who returns the gesture with a shake. Their hands break, then they lock into a collar-and-elbow tie up. The two battle for dominance, with Chris managing to trap Soul in a neutral corner. He breaks the hold, delivering a vicious chop to the chest that echoes throughout the arena. Soul winces for a moment, but then grabs Chris, tosses him in the corner, and delivers one of his own. Chris clutches his own chest for a moment, but he counters once more, switching with Soul and giving another chop. Soul once again reverses, repeating the cycle. Chris then executes the switch one more time, but instead of chop, delivers a high knee to the gut.}

Thomas Simon: Oh, nice move by Chris to stun his opponent!

Richie Rhodes: Thank god, I was starting to get bored by the repetition.

{Reacting quickly, Chris grabs his opponent and lifts him for a suplex. However, Soul manages to get his legs out, push off the turnbuckle, and flip before Chris was ready to fall back, ending up standing behind him back-to-back. Soul reaches behind him, perhaps for a neckbreaker. However, with amazing ring awareness, Chris steps up the turnbuckles, somersaulting himself into the air over his foe. He then runs to the opposite turnbuckle, Soul chasing close behind. Upon reaching the corner, Chris grabs the top rope and does a standing jump, kicking his legs back as if expecting Soul to run underneath him and slam into the buckles. Instead, the older wrestler stops and catches Chris’s legs on his shoulders. Instantly, the younger wrestler twists, sending his opponent through the air. With shocking grace, Soul cartwheels and lands on his feet. He then swings his arm around, hoping to catch Chris unaware. However, Radke is trying to connect with his own lariat. Their arms connect, effectively blocking each other’s blows. The two hold their position for a moment, then smile and break. The crowd applauds with wild appreciation.}

Thomas Simon: Wow! What an incredible display of athleticism by the two competitors!

Richie Rhodes: I gotta say I was impressed, though I wish someone would just hit somebody already!

{Chris and Soul back into their respective corners. Radke holds his hand out and Taufik slaps it, coming into the match. At the sight of one of the future challengers, Jason demands Soul tag him in. His partner grants his wish. Within moments, the two enemies are inside the ring, staring at each other.}

Thomas Simon: Two-thirds of the High Stakes TV Title match being previewed right now!

Richie Rhodes: If Taufik ends on his back, it will be a perfect preview!

{Taufik and Jason circle each other warily. Jason crouches low and extends his hand cautiously, offering to lock up in a test of strength. Taufik reaches to engage, but it turns out to be a feint. Jason quickly floats behind him and locks on a rear waistlock. He moves to pull Taufik into a suplex, but Taufik manages to hook the leg and block it. Breaking the hold, he switches positions with Jason and locks on a rear waistlock of his own. Jason runs to the ropes, hooks them, and jerks back, shaking Taufik off. The future challenger rolls backwards to his feet. Jason turns to charge his opponent, only to be caught in a standing huracanrana! Landing on his skull, he rolls to his corner clutching his head. Surprisingly, he reaches out and slaps Soul Shadow’s hand, even though it wasn’t offered. He then rolls under the ropes and to the floor.}

Richie Rhodes: Smart move by the champ! Getting out quickly once things turned!

Thomas Simon: Seemed a little cowardly to me.

Richie Rhodes: Cowardly? Jason is very brave! He’s just nobody’s fool!

{Soul looks very annoyed at the champion’s actions, but grudgingly steps through the ropes. Much like what he did to Radke, he offers his hand to Taufik. It is accepted, then the two circle. The two lock up, with Soul managing to trap Taufik in a headlock. To the crowd’s delight, Taufik powers out it by lifting the veteran into a back suplex side slam. Stunned, Soul falls victim to a standing senton splash, driving the air from his body. Taufik goes for the first pinfall… 1… 2 Soul manages to kick out. “The Franchise” doesn’t let up, pulling Soul to his feet and dropping him right back down with a neckbreaker. Trying to recover, Soul rolls slightly away, pulling himself to his knees. Taufik runs the ropes for momentum, then comes towards his foe, jumping to deliver an axe kick to the back of the neck. However, Soul steps back, causing Taufik to miss and land awkwardly on his bad leg. Soul notices, mouths “sorry” to Taufik, then unmercifully dropkicks him square on the knee.}

Thomas Simon: Veteran move from Soul right there, exploiting the opponent’s weakness.

Richie Rhodes: Ha! Guess they shouldn’t have told Taufik to break a leg prior to the match!

{Taufik grabs his injured limb in pain, reaching for a tag in the corner. Unfortunately for him, Soul pulls him to his own corner, preventing either Chris or Emi from making the save. Soul lifts Taufik in air and drops him knee-first on top of his own, damaging it even further. He then shoves him face-first to the ground, applying an Argentine leglock. Taufik screams from the pressure on his knee. The referee checks to see if he wants to tap when suddenly, Jason tags himself in by slapping Soul’s back.}

Thomas Simon: What was that? Taufik looked to be ready to submit when Jason tagged himself in!

Richie Rhodes: It’s called “the big picture”, Tommy. Jason wants to work on that knee ahead of the title match!

{Both Aeryn and Soul look confused by Jason’s actions. He ignores both of his partners, placing Taufik’s leg on the bottom rope. Next, he repeatedly jumps into the air and lands on the knee, causing “the Franchise” intense pain. Taufik manages to get his leg off the ropes, but Jason gives it one more stomp for good measure. Then, he raises both of his middle fingers in the direction of Chris and Emi, bringing them both into the ring. The ref moves to cut them off, allowing Jason to toss Taufik from the ring.}

Thomas Simon: Jason is taking it to the floor!

{Jason follows Taufik to the ground. He picks him up and places him on the barricade. He then climbs on the apron, runs along it, and delivers a dropkick right into Taufik’s leg. With no give, Taufik feels the double impact of foot and steel. He screams as he falls onto the mat in the ring area.}

Thomas Simon: Good God!

Richie Rhodes: Taufik will be lucky to be able to walk at High Stakes!

{Both Chris and Emi argue desperately with the ref, who is more concerned with returning them to their corner. Outside, Jason walks over to the timekeeper’s table and grabs a chair. The crowd screams in disapproval as he folds it, apparently planning to do more damage. However, when he turns, he sees Aeryn rolling Taufik back into the ring while Soul stands between her and Jason. Jason debates using the chair on his partners, but the look in Soul’s eyes warns him off. He drops the chair and slides back into the ring. Aeryn, who had been holding Taufik’s foot to keep him from reaching his allies for a tag, tells him to finish it. Jason scowls while he grabs his foe.}

Richie Rhodes: Soul and Aeryn had no right to interfere! That was strictly Jason’s business!

Thomas Simon: Hey, they want to do things the right way! They realize Taufik is finished and want the match to be over!

{Jason pulls Taufik in a standing position and then drops him with a T-Bone suplex. Moving quickly, he grabs Taufik’s legs, sets him up, and then locks on a figure-four leglock. Taufik screams once more, reaching backwards for a tag, yet his partners are a whole ring away. The referee gets right in his face, asking him if he wants to submit. Behind the ref’s back, Jason grabs the bottom rope for extra leverage. Discreetly, Soul gives the bottom rope a kick, knocking the hands free. Shocked, Jason reaches once again, only for Soul to repeat his move. Angry, Jason moves his body slightly, grabbing the bottom rope closest to Aeryn. She seems amused and doesn’t break the TV champ’s grip. This time, though, the ref has looked back and seen Jason’s illegal maneuver, so he forces him to release the hold.}

Richie Rhodes: I swear, Soul doesn’t want to win!

Thomas Simon: I think he does, just not the way Jason would like to do it.

{Soul asks to be tagged in, but Jason flips him the bird instead. Behind him, Taufik tries on one leg to reach his corner. Seeing this, Jason grabs him, spinning him around. Taufik raises his leg to the champ’s stomach, but it is caught. Desperate, Taufik tries for an enzuigiri, but Jason ducks. He tries to grab both legs to pull Taufik into some sort of hold, but “The Franchise” rolls forward. Jason is dragged by the momentum right into his opponents’ corner, meeting an elbow from Radke. Meanwhile, Taufik, to the delight of the crowd, manages to tag Emi.}

Thomas Simon: Finally, Taufik gets a tag!

Richie Rhodes: Dammit, they were so close! If only Aeryn and Soul hadn’t messed it up!

{Stunned by the elbow, Jason doesn’t realize Emi has entered the ring until a dropkick nails him right in the jaw. He rolls to his feet and tries to counter with a clothesline. Emi ducks under, flips into the ropes, rebounds, and delivers a somersault cutter to the TV champ. The impact bounces him onto his back, where Emi goes for a quick pin. 1… 2.. Jason manages to kick out and rolls to his feet. Emi snares his arm and sends him hurling to the ropes. She catches him on the rebound, lifts him up, and nails him in the junk with an inverted atomic drop. Jason doubles over in pain while she positions herself underneath him. To the amazement of the crowd, her partners, and her foes, she lifts him directly over her head and drops him behind her with a gorilla press slam!}

Thomas Simon: Good God, she hit it! She said it was her goal and she nailed it!

Richie Rhodes: If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t have believed it!

{Emi’s eyes look wider than any anime girl’s as she jumps in elation at adding to her moveset. Her enthusiasm distracts her as Jason uses the opportunity to roll to his corner, tagging in Soul. The champ falls to the outside as Soul takes his place, charging Emi from behind. The Japanese superstar turns at just the right moment, ducking under the incoming blow and charging the ropes herself. Soul jumps in the air as she returns towards him, anticipating her going underneath him. Instead, she stops, catches him around the waist in mid-air, and drops him into an inverted atomic drop of his own. Much like what she did with Jason, she positions herself underneath him, looking for another gorilla press.}

Richie Rhodes: Oh, she has got to be delusional if she thinks she can pull off the same move twice in one match…

{Indeed, the 65 pound difference between Jason and Soul makes quite a difference, as Emi can’t pull off the required leverage. Recovering from the earlier blow, Soul fights out of her hold with a pair of elbows to Emi’s temple. He adjusts her position slightly, then nails her with a standing powerbomb. The ref moves into position to count, but Soul doesn’t go for the pin. Rather, he yells for Aeryn as he falls back while holding Emi’s legs, springboarding his foe to the ropes. Aeryn quickly moves into the perfect spot to catch Emi’s head, then drops from the apron, slamming the rookie’s throat across the top rope. She staggers back, where Soul catches her in a full-nelson suplex, bridging for the pin. 1… 2.. Emi manages to slip a hand free and barely escape. Looking to hit her with a crushing move, Soul picks her up, charges a neutral corner, and slams her into the turnbuckles. She crumples into the corner as the veteran retreats to the opposite corner.}

Thomas Simon: I think he’s going to a senton splash in the corner!

Richie Rhodes: Poor Emi is going to be crushed if this lands!

{Soul sizes up his foe, then charges towards her. Just as he launches into his senton, Emi manages to flip herself onto the top turnbuckle, using the top rope as leverage. Unable to stop himself, Soul crashes into the corner, landing upside down. Emi then brings her legs together as she comes down, driving her feet into Soul’s chest. Finally, she rolls forward, tagging Radke’s outstretched hand.}

Thomas Simon: Chris finally comes into the match after a long break!

Richie Rhodes: Let’s see what he can do!

{Soul returns to his feet and turns towards his opponent’s corner, where he met by a flying crossbody from Chris. The two slam into the mat with Soul taking the brunt of the impact. Chris rolls swiftly to his feet, jumps onto the middle rope, and flies backwards with a moonsault. Landing on his foe, Chris tries for a pin. 1… 2.. Soul manages to get a shoulder up. Chris pulls Soul to his feet and carries him to a neutral corner. He places him on the top turnbuckle, looking for a big move. However, as he climbs to join his foe, Soul fights back, nailing him in the gut to slow him down. He pushes Chris off, sending his opponent tumbling to the mat. Looking to rally, Soul jumps off the top rope. However, Chris counters with a superkick, nearly knocking the veteran senseless.}

Thomas Simon: That might be it!

Richie Rhodes: They should have listened to Jason and let him do his thing!

{Feeling it, Chris gets ready for the Omega Driver. He decides to add some extra power to it and tosses Soul against the ropes. He doesn’t realize it is too close to Aeryn, who takes advantage to get a blind tag on Soul. Oblivious, Chris catches Soul, flips him, and nails the Omega Driver. He tries to pin the nearly unconscious grappler, but the ref indicates his foe is no longer the legal man. Confused, Chris gets to his knees, only to be met by a violent knee strike to the head from Aeryn. Stunned, he starts to fall backward, but struggles to keep his balance. Aeryn decides to give him a helping hand to the ground, this time doing a low dropkick to his jaw. Chris rolls with the impact, fighting to get to his knees. Aeryn jumps on the middle rope, then lands a rocker dropper on Chris. She rolls him over into a pinning predicament. 1… 2… Chris manages to kick out. Aeryn pulls him to his feet, continuing the assault.}

Thomas Simon: Aeryn has got to finish him off here. Soul looks to be about out of it as the ref gets if to the apron. I haven’t seen Jason since he exited earlier. Aeryn might be the only one functional on her team while both Taufik and Emi cheer Chris on!

Richie Rhodes: Looks like Jason is doing what he can to even the odds!

{While everyone is focused on the action inside the ring, outside of the squared circle Jason has grabbed the steel chair from earlier. He approaches Taufik from behind and smashes it into the future challenger’s knee. Taufik drops from the apron, screaming in pain. Angry at her friend being assaulted, Emi dives from the apron, tackling Jason to the ground. The crowd goes nuts at the action both inside and outside the ring.}

Richie Rhodes: All hell has broken loose!

{Inside the ring Chris Radke and Soul Shadow exchange punches and blows. Shadow gets the upper hand but Radke kicks him in the knee sending him down to one. He lays kicks in to his chest and nails a DDT}

Thomas Simon: What a move!

{Radke lifts Shadow up and Shadow breaks the hold. He kicks him in the gut and nails the Soul Crusher!}

1.....2......3!

{The fans cheer as Soul Shadow gets the win. Aeryn Ashfield joins him in the ring to celebrate their win. Jason X also stands behind them with his arm raised in victory. He takes his TV belt and nails Soul Shadow in the back of the head with it. Soul Shadow goes down and the fans boo. Jason leaves the ring and hold the belt up the whole way up the ramp.
