Thomas Simon: Hello MPW Nation and welcome to Monday Night’s Main Event!!!!!!!!! What a night we have in store for you tonight! As we know MPW General Manager Bill Adams will be LIVE here tonight at some point! Word is he will announce the participants for the groundbreaking Roll of the Dice Match plus address the several attacks which took place last week at the hands of former NYCCW superstars Johnny Clash and ‘The Only One’ Rage!
Bob Herman: My Boys! TWI is back in the house it looks like and I for one and am very pleased to see it!
Thomas Simon: You are? They did nothing but cause harm to contracted MPW superstars. They don’t work here. They had no business being here.
Bob Herman: Look the thing you need to learn about the True Wrestling Icons is that EVERYTHING is their business!
Thomas Simon: It sure does look like it, Bobo!
Bob Herman: Look! I’ve been meaning to talk to you about that. Last week you called me Bobo several times. I don’t like how you think I am a clown. Got it Tommy Boy?
Thomas Simon: Really? I figure I was insulting Bobo the Clown. Hmm tell you what. You quit calling me Tommy Boy and I’ll stop calling you Bobo.
Bob Herman: How’s that fair?
Thomas Simon: It just is….think about it…..ok fans unlike the ‘other’ so-called Monday Night wrestling program we are starting off with a match! Let’s get to it!
[The arena fills with cheers as Infection by the Bellrays plays throughout the arena. Kurt makes his way out with two female models on each side of him. Kurt has a huge smile on his face as he makes his way down the ramp and to the ring. As the three individuals make their way to the ring, Kurt quickly jumps up to the ring and sits on the bottom of the rope. The two females slowly make their way up to the ring and pass underneath the ropes that Kurt is sitting on. Kurt flips into the ring and makes his way over to one of the ring post as streamers of different colors fill the ring. Kurt claps his hands in celebration as he jumps off the ring post and walks over to the two ladies who smile at Kurt as he leans over and kisses both of them on the cheeks.]
Honey Winters: And his opponent……accompanied by Ms. Biguns….he is standing in at 6’3”, 227 lbs…….coming from Denver, Colorado……he is JOHN FISHERMAN!
[As the opening riff of "John the Fisherman" echoes across the arena, John Fisherman and Ms. Jasmine Biguns reveal themselves on the stage. They stand side by side, Ms. Biguns hooking her arm around her client's arm as John simply stares into the crowd in disdain. They start walking down the ramp, John ignoring the booes from the crowd as Ms. Biguns agitates them from the comfort of her man's side. When they approach ringside, Ms. Biguns releases her hold, steps back and applauds her man as he performs his signature pose: holding both arms from his signs, his thumbs pointing down and his middle and index finger pointing away (hand gesture like this:,=). After a brief moment in this pose, John leaps onto the apron, as Ms. Biguns walks up the staircase in the corner. John enters through the ropes and sits on the middle rope, allowing Ms. Biguns to enter without the struggle of keeping her short skirt from above the waist. They then both stand in the center of the ring. There, John Fisherman does his signature pose once again, this time with Ms. Biguns beside her, resting one hand on his lower back and holding out her other hand to complete the pair's pose.]
Honey Winters: and their opponent…..standing in at 6’3”, 227 lbs…coming from Atlanta, Georgia…..he is Mr. fXs…..FREDDY STYLES!
[The screen cuts to the [fXs] symbol as the first beats of “No Church In The Wild” by Kanye and Jay-Z hit the arena. As the song moves into the chosen verse, Freddy steps out from behind the curtain as he just stands there, bouncing from side to side, before making his slow walk towards the ring.]
[Freddy slowly walks up the ring steps, and steps through the ropes. He then stands on the middle rope, holding one arm above him, before stepping down and leaning over in a corner, awaiting the beginning of the match.]
Thomas Simon: Well here we go ladies and gentlemen, with referee Jude Mason ready to start the match, it's time for these three great competitors to face off! Styles, Fisherman, Newman, all three in their debut matches in MPW! Let's get right into the action!
Bob Herman: Woooo! I can't wait to see this! Although Kurt Newman doesn't stand much of a chance in that attire!
Thomas Simon: I think he looks fine Bob, just let it go.
[The three circle each other, all waiting for the other to make the first move. John Fisherman looks at Freddy Styles, and then charges at Kurt Newman, kicking him hard in the gut and going to work with right and lefts to Kurt's gut and jaw, before Freddy Styles interrupts with a club to the back of John Fisherman, pounding him on the back repeatedly as he irish whips him to the ropes, and as Fisherman bounces back, Styles hits him with a shoulder block, sending him to the mat. As Styles turns around he is caught with a hurricanrana by Kurt Newman, who gets back to his feet and waits for Kurt and John Fisherman to get to their feet, as he charges, ducking two clotheslines as he goes springboard on the second rope and leaps backwards, once again over both of them.]
Thomas Simon: What a move right there!! He's using the avoid tactic, dodging any attacks from the heavier foes! Real smart from Kurt Newman!
Bob Herman: Maybe he is smarter than he looks. But then again, he looks like a dork, so that's not much of a compliment.
Thomas Simon: Ignoring Bob, Kurt runs back at Freddy and rolls into a hurricanrana position, but Freddy Styles holds him there and waits for a moment, as Fisherman charges and Styles hauls Kurt towards John Fisherman, and the two fall to the mat together, Kurt on top of John!
[Freddy waits for a moment, and as John pushes Kurt off of him and gets to a kneeling position, he charges, hitting a massive knee to the jaw of John Fisherman. As Freddy goes down for the cover, Kurt springs to his feet and runs towards the pin, hitting a running dropkick to the side of Styles' head and breaking up the pin in the process.]
[Kurt drags Freddy towards the ropes and pushes him against the bottom rope, pressing him hard into the rope and he uses the no disqualification rule for a short while as he releases and bounds against the opposite ropes, charging towards Freddy Styles as he hits a massive running knee to the side of Styles' head. Kurt gets back to his feet and pushes Freddy Styles so that he's groin is pressed against the ropes with his arms hanging over the ropes and towards the fans, his body slung so that he is almost outside the ring. Freddy stays there groggily as Kurt climbs to the top rope and prepares to go high risk. However, John Fisherman interrupts Kurt before he can jump, grabbing his arm and pulling him down so that he drops groin first onto the top turnbuckle. Fisherman grabs Kurt in a suplex position and climbs to the top rope, taunting the fans as he raises his fist high in the air and waits for a moment, before hauling Kurt's body up and over John's in a massive superplex, dropping Kurt onto the body of Freddy Styles as they both go tumbling to the floor.]
Thomas Simon: OH MY GOD!!!! What a superplex!!! You've gotta be kidding me!!
Bob Herman: I'm not usually speechless...but wow that was incredible!
Thomas Simon: Now look at the replay!! Kurt's back goes flying onto the back of Freddy Styles' head and it slams onto the apron!! Incredible!
Bob Herman: Hang on, Kurt is holding his back in real pain right now! I think Kurt Newman's back hit that apron the wrong way! He's really in pain!
Thomas Simon: This could be a real problem here, nobody likes to see a wrestler in that much pain because of a move, and to the credit of John Fisherman, what a move it was! That massive superplex just dropped John's two opponents!
[John Fisherman looks across at the fans and grins almost maniacally, waiting for a moment before he climbs outside the ring and walks across to Kurt Newman, hauling him to his feet as he clubs Kurt;s back with multiple forearms, lifting him to his feet and taking a couple of steps back, as he charges and hits a massive running clothesline. Fisherman then hauls Newman back to his feet, bringing him towards the ring apron as he swings Kurt's mid-section forward, and then back into the side of the apron, and as Kurt's back crashes against the apron, John Fisherman turns around and meets a stiff right hand from Freddy Styles who backs him up towards the ring steps and waits for a moment, preparing to his a spear into the barricade. But John catches Freddy with a knee on the way through, attempting to throw him against the barricade himself.]
[However, as Freddy counters, and pushes John off of him, Freddy attempts to charge and hit a running spear once again. Before he can get close, he is attacked by Ms. Biguns, who hits him on the back of the head with a steel chair.]
Thomas Simon: Oh!! What a chair shot!! That's completely wrong, she shouldn't be involved in the outcome of this match!
Bob Herman: Hey, it's all legal!! It's No DQ remember!
[John Fisherman poses once again, before throwing Freddy Styles back into the ring as he slides inside the ring himself, propping Freddy up onto the second turnbuckle and he punches Freddy, propping him up to the top turnbuckle as he looks for the anchor cutter. However, before he can execute it Kurt Newman slides into the ring and hits a running dropkick to John Fisherman, waiting for him to get to his feet as he ducks under a clothesline....]
Thomas Simon: Crucifix Driver!! Kurt delivers the Crucifix Driver!!
[Kurt hooks the leg…….1……..2………3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
Thomas Simon: What a way to open the show!!!! Unreal action!!!!! Kurt Newman gets a HUGE debut win! We will be right back with more exciting MPW action!!!
Thomas Simon: Welcome back fans! What an exciting debut match we just saw! Wait….wait….I am just receiving word that Bill Adams is about to make an announcement! !
[MPW GM Bill Adams appears on the MPWtron he is sitting at his desk in his office as the camera focuses in on him.]
Bill Adams: Hello MPW fans! I’m sure you would like me to address the attack on me by Johnny Clash and Rage last week. I will do that later on tonight in that very ring. But right now I have in my hands a list of the 10 participants in the Roll of the Dice qualifier which starts next week.
[Bill Adams opens the list as the crowd pops.]
Bill Adams: The following superstars have been accepted………John Fisherman, Jason X, Taufik, Reed Zimmer, Xavier Daniels, Bliss, Kurt Newman, Siren, Aidan Caine and the man who will be signing his MPW contract later tonight the Man Bear himself Big Grizzly!
[Crowd pops at the announcement.]
Bill Adams: The qualifying matches will be the following. Next weeks show will see Jason X face John Fisherman and Big Grizzly face Taufik!
[Slight boos are heard when Taufik’s name is announced.]
Bill Adams: OK? On July 30th you will see the following 3 matches…..Kurt Newman faces Siren, Xavier Daniels faces Bliss and Aidan Caine [Crowd pops HUGE] faces Reed Zimmer! The 5 winners of those matches will advance to High Stakes on August 20th and be placed in the Roll of the Dice matches. The losers will get one more chance to qualify by participating in 5 person over the top battle royal to secure the 6th and final spot in this ground breaking match! Thank you MPW nation I will see you soon.
[The fans pop at the HUGE announcement.]
Siren: So Kurt Newman? You ok with that?
Bliss: No why would I?
Siren: Well I know you two have some history…..
Bliss: That’s just exactly what it is….History! Let’s just get ready for skunk and his muscleheaded moron tonight.
[The locker room door opens as Bliss continues to fix her hair. She looks and sees who walks into the room.]
Bliss: I thought pets weren’t allowed in the building Siren.
[The camera turns around to see none other than Laura Tavares standing there smirking. The crowd boos but also whistles for her as well. Laura stands there with curly hair tied up in a ponytail with glasses on and a tight white dress. She folds her arms and smiles even wider]
Laura Tavares: Hehehehe…..I see that you two were getting ready for Kried and Drake Hunter huh?
[Siren stands up and gets in Laura's face]
Siren: Who the hell are you and why are you in our locker room, as you can see we are about to get ready for our match.
[Laura stands there smirking at Siren]
Laura Tavares: Oh Honey…..You obviously don't know who I am do you. My name is Laura Tavares, Google it! You will see that I have more success in the past month than you will ever have in your entire career. And as for tonight, I'm really pulling for you out there and not because I like you. It's because I despise Apostle Kried and Drake Hunter. Ugh gross.
[Laura's face shows disgust as Siren folds her arms as well. Bliss stands next to her]
Bliss: Okay, so what do you want from us? You think you can just barge in here and expect to make friends?
Laura Tavares: Honey, I don't need friends I have all the friends I need. Especially not friends like you. I just wanted to wish you guys the best of luck in your match tonight seeing as you will need it and just remember... I'm pulling for you out there.
[Bliss shakes her head and takes Siren's hand. She pulls her past Laura and out of the locker room]
Bliss: Let's get out of here Siren!
Laura Tavares: Go get em sport!
[Laura giggles as the scene fades out to commercial.]
Bob Herman: The Queen is here! Believe it and bow before her!!!
Thomas Simon: Well I won’t be doing that anytime soon……Fans let’s get right into our next match!
["Unsettling Differences" - Blue Smock Nancy blares as Taufik steps out onto the ramp as the crowd gives a mixed reaction. He gives the fans some high fives on his way down to the ring. But stops dead in his tracks as a fan yells a derogatory remark towards him. Taufik looks upset but shakes it off and puts on a smile as he slides in the ring and awaits his opponent.]
Honey Winters: Following him…..hailing from right here in Las Vegas, Nevada….weighing in at 210 pounds…….he is ‘THE STAR’ JASON XAVIER!!!!!!
[“As "X Gonna Give It to Ya" By DMX begin to blast through the P.A. system, white smoke fills the entrance a figure steps in and can be seen in the smoke and Jason X stands at the top of the entrance with his arms up in an X form. He continues to walk down the ramp and enters the ring; he then climbs the turnbuckles and again puts his arms in an X form.]
[The fans are on their feet as Taufik and Jason X look at each other from across the ring, each man looking focused on the task at hand, while the fans start to clap to help give these guys some extra momentum as they go into battle. Without further ado, Jude Mason, the referee assigned to this bout, calls for the bell, and the match is underway!
Thomas Simon: I expect a highly competitive battle in this one.
Bob Herman: As you should. This is about which division is best, after all.
[Jason X and Taufik lock it up in the center of the ring, each man fighting for position. Taufik uses his size advantage to overpower Jason X and Irish whips him into the ropes. When Jason X comes back, Taufik looks for the sunset flip, but Jason X rolls through it instead and then proceeds to nail Taufik with a dropkick right to the face. With Taufik down, Adrian hits a leg drop on his downed opponent and goes for a cover right away. 1......2.......]
Thomas Simon: And Taufik gets the shoulder up well before three.
Bob Herman: It's too early for a win in my book, but it's smart to try to catch your opponent off guard.
[After his kick out, Taufik is quick to get back to his feet, and him and Jason X lock it up once again. This time, however, Jason X doesn't let Taufik use his size advantage. Instead, Jason X uses his quickness and brings Taufik back down to the mat with a hurricanrana. Although the impact does leave an impression on Taufik, he still gets back up as fast as he can. Still, it's not fast enough to a double-knee backbreaker from Jason X, and the fans are on their feet waiting to see what's going to happen next.]
Thomas Simon: I told you this would be highly competitive.
Bob Herman: And the good thing is that there is still more to this match.
[Not wanting to give his opponent any room to breathe, Jason X goes to pull Taufik back up to a vertical position, but Taufik surprises him with an arm bar takedown that he transitions into a cutthroat Fujiwara arm bar! Jason X is trapped in the submission hold with the ropes only a foot away. With his free arm, Jason X fights with all his might to inch closer and closer to the ropes and the fans begin to rally behind him, giving him that extra oomph he needed to wrap his hand around the bottom rope.]
Thomas Simon: Jason X once again showed us how much heart he has, and it's a lot!
[Taufik breaks the hold and backs away before Jude Mason even has to start the count on him. After a moment to favour his arm, Jason X gets back up without even using the aide of the ropes and looks over at the Taufik. This time, the two men simply come at each other, each man looking to hit some hard-hitting strike. It's Taufik that ends up doing so after he ducks a clothesline attempt by Jason X, hits the ropes, and corkscrew elbow smash right to his opponent's face. This time, Jason X attempts a cover. 1.........2..........]
Thomas Simon: There's the kick out by Jason X! I knew he had some fight left!
Bob Herman: That doesn't mean Taufik won't have enough to defeat it.
Thomas Simon: At this point though, I still think it's anyone's match.
[Despite the failed attempt at the pin fall, Taufik is still fired up and ready to do all he can to take the victory. To do so, he drags Jason X up and Irish whips him into the corner. Jason X, however, is still rather coherent and avoids slamming into the turnbuckles by using his momentum to ascend the ropes instead as Taufik is coming at him. Because of Jason Xs quick thinking, Taufik ends up at the receiving end of a picture-perfect moonsault transitioned into a pinning position by his opponent. 1.......2.......]
Thomas Simon: That was two and three-quarters! So close!
[Taufik rolls out of the pinning position after the kick out, but Jason X gets to his feet first. When Taufik gets up, Jason X starts to do some fancy footwork, which distracts Taufik momentarily. When Jason X looks for his strong right hook, however, Taufik ducks the attempt and waits for his opponent to turn around so he can then hit a jab. Jason X fires another punch that is ducked through by Taufik, and another jab is hit on Jason X. Still determined to nail that punch, Jason X tries again, but it is ducked through by Taufik once again. Jason X turns around, and Taufik rushes in and hits an STO.]
Bob Herman: Wow, devastating STO.
Thomas Simon: Came out of know where!
Taufik motions for the end of the match as he takes his thumb and drags it across his neck. Taufik picks Jason X by the hair and sets him up for the Surprise. Jason X stumbles to his feet and tries his best to stay up as Taufik takes a few steps back and extends his leg, looking for the Surprise. Jason X dunks it though and taps his finger to his head, showing that he scouted it the whole time. As he turns around though, Taufik grabs him by the hair and tosses him outside of the ring. Jason X catches himself by the ropes and doesn’t fall down to the floor. Jason X regroups and begs Taufik to turn around. As Taufik does, Jason X jumps off the ropes and hits Taufik with the X-DDT. The force of the X-DDT is so much that Taufik lands up on his feet and wobbles around in a daze. Jason X takes advantage of this and runs to the ropes. Jason X bounces back and hits Taufik with his X-Driver. Jason X quickly goes for the pin. 1……2……3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
Thomas Simon: WOW! Again what an impressive from Taufik and Jason X. Jason X just wanted it that much more today.
Bob Herman: I was quite impressed with them two and look forward to seeing more between the two.
Jackson Blaze: Yeah, Terrin. It's all good in here. I'm going to get my second win here tonight and if this Fischer kid gets in my way I'll fucking roll over him too.
[Blaze gets in his room and shuts the door, then stops as he notices a box sitting on his couch. He quickly turns his head from side to side and scans the area, before returning to the phone call.]
Jackson Blaze: I need to let you go, T. Someone's been in my room here.
[The Bastard hangs up his phone call and slides the phone into his pocket before slowly approaching the box. He gets to the box and again moves his head from side to side, seeing if anyone is around. He turns his attention back to the box and picks it up examining it. He holds the box up, but sees no writing on it's outside. He shakes the box, but hears nothing. He notices the top of the box is a lid that slides off so he sets it back down on the couch and slowly pulls the lid up. Once he has the lid off, the Bastard notices a note inside. A look of total confusion creeps across his face as he pulls the note out and starts to read it.]
Jackson Blaze: I found you, Jackson Blaze. Or should I say Jackson Wyatt? Yeah, we're going back to a time I'm sure you want to forget. I know you're a "Bastard" and don't really care about your actions, but I also know you've tried hiding this. However, I know what you did, Mr. Wyatt. I was there 8 years ago on that roadway and I saw. Your secrets will be told, Bastard. The truth will come out.
[Jackson slams the note back down into the box very hard and from the look on his brow and the coldness in his eyes you can see his confusion is now nothing but anger.]
[The camera fade from Jackson obviously upset and then opens in to see Siren and Bliss getting into their dressing room and pushing the door behind them but it doesn't catch in the latch and remains partially open. She smiles at Bliss.]
Bliss: Can you believe that cow earlier tonight??? Anyways nevermind about her we're ready for this tonight!
[She tightens the Black gloves on her hands and clenches her fists.]
Siren: Of course we are. I'm not here to talk about the match Blissy...
[Siren twirls apiece of her blond hair and flashes an innocent looking smile at Bliss.]
Siren: What I've been dying to know is what's going on between you and that Kurt Newman guy? You just kinda cut me off when I mentioned it earlier tonight....."
Bliss: nothing is going on between me and Kurt Newman...
[At this moment, Kurt is making his way down the hall when he hears the end of Bliss' sentence and his name rings in his ears. he stops and backs up so that he's close to the open door.]
Siren: Sure there isn't.... Didn't you date the guy for a couple months?
Bliss: and I hit him over the head with weight plate and caused him to go to lala land for months...
[Siren clicked her tongue.]
Siren: I think someone is afraid of commitment if you ask me
[Bliss turns to look at Siren. ]
Bliss: No one asked you....
[Siren, not intimidated by the stare continues.]
