[The pyros explode in the Joe Louis arena as the fans cheer and Evan's Blue - Underwater plays around the arena. The camera zooms around and then goes back to the Announce table where Thomas Simon and Richie Rhodes sit ready for the pay per view]

Thomas Simon: You can feel the energy tonight here in Detroit!

Richie Rhodes: We have a wild match card ready for you here tonight!

Thomas Simon: Let's get right to it! Let's start with Jason X and Nathan James who will settle the score from a few weeks ago!

Richie Rhodes: This one should be great to kick off Aftershock 2!


[Built For Speed kicks in as Nathan appears in black trunks with red stripes down the side, wearing a black custom Nathan James t shirt. Black boots with similar red stripes down the side. He pauses on top of the stage taking in the ovation nodding in acknowledgement as he then walks down the ramp high fiving fans either side of the barriers. Upon entering the ring he mounts each turnbuckle posing before removing his t shirt and waiting for the next victim to arrive]

Honey Winters: This contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from London, England, weighing in at 262 pounds, Nathan James!!!

Thomas Simon: We’re about to begin our first main show contest here on Aftershock as Nathan James takes on former MPW TV Champion Jason X!

Richie Rhodes: Nathan James just can’t seem to buy momentum. I have to agree with Jason X with the words he said this week, he doesn’t put in the time to amount to stardom.

As "Monster" By Skillet begin to blast through the P.A. system, white smoke fills the entrance a figure steps in and can be seen in the smoke and Jason X stands at the top of the entrance with his arms up in an X form. He continues to walk down the ramp and enters the ring, he then climbs the turnbuckles and again puts his arms in an X form.

Honey Winters: His opponent, from Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 190 pounds, Jason X!!!

Thomas Simon: Last time out on Pay-Per-View, at High Stakes, Jason X lost the TV Championship and wasn’t able to get it back in ensuing weeks. He’s hoping to get back on track tonight.

Richie Rhodes: He’s got the experience factor, as well as the accolades. He’s not a 2 time TV Champion for no reason.

[Both men are separated into their respective corners as the bell rings!]

Thomas Simon: And here we go ladies and gentlemen, our first match of Aftershock is under way!

[Nathan charges at Jason X, but Jason X is able to take him down with an armdrag. Nathan gets up and Jason X takes him down with another armdrag. Jason X keeps the pressure on Nathan as he locks in a grounded sleeper hold. Nathan James struggles with the move at first, but he’s able to help himself a little bit by getting to his knees. He starts to elbow Jason in the ribs, so Jason does the smart thing and he throws Nathan down to the mat. Jason continues to apply some technical prowess early on in the match as he locks on a Boston crab. Nathan initially struggles with it at first, but his size advantage and the fact that the match just started gives him more than enough leverage to get to the bottom rope in about 19 seconds. Jason breaks the hold and stands back, waiting for Nathan to get up using the ropes. Once he does, Jason runs at him and takes him down with a dropkick, sending him out of the ring. Jason quickly slides out of the ring, grabs Nathan, throws him back in the ring, and then pins his shoulders for a cover.]

[1…………….2……………..KICKOUT!]

Thomas Simon: That was a nice start to this match by Jason X.

[Jason X decides he wants to go to the top rope.]

Richie Rhodes: What is he doing? He was on him to start with and now he’s trying to show off?

Thomas Simon: Jason is confident in his own abilities.

[Jason leaps off the top rope with a splash, but Nathan James rolls out of the way and out of the ring, causing Jason X to crash hard into the mat.]

Richie Rhodes: I told you so! That’s what he gets for showboating. He didn’t need to take risks.

[Nathan slides back into the ring, pounces on Jason and starts to deliver a ground and pound attack. Jason X tries to defend himself, but it’s no use as Nathan keeps getting in shots to the face. The referee starts a five count and Nathan breaks it up. Nathan helps Jason get up, only to bring him back down with a short arm clothesline. Nathan drags Jason to the corner and lays him at the bottom of it. Nathan starts to put his boot to Jason’s throat, causing him to suffocate. The referee begins a five count again, and Nathan breaks it up at four. Jason X gets up, but Nathan brings him down with a drop toe hold. After that, he gets Jason up, and he brings him back down with a vertical suplex. Nathan grabs the legs of Jason X and slingshots him into the ropes. Jason staggers back to Nathan who drops him with a Russian legsweep and immediately shoots the half for the cover.]

[1…………..2………………KICKOUT!]

Richie Rhodes: Nathan’s going old school, not trying to do anything fancy and just using a hard hitting offense.

Thomas Simon: Yes, that’s the brawl-type offense that Nathan uses.

Richie Rhodes: He can’t screw this up, but he’s not experienced, so he probably will.

[Nathan James waits for Jason X to get up.]

 

Richie Rhodes: Like right there, he’s screwing this up. He should have stayed on Jason and continued his brawling offense.

[Jason is up. Nathan goes for a clothesline, but Jason ducks underneath it. Nathan turns around, but right into a roundhouse kick to the gut by Jason X. Nathan doubles over and Jason takes him down with a swinging neckbreaker in the center of the ring. Jason gets on Nathan and locks in a cobra clutch. The former TV Champion keeps the hold locked on as tight as he can as Nathan struggles with it. Nathan however, uses his size advantage to get to a vertical base with the hold still locked in. But, Jason uses his experience to shove Nathan away and into the corner. Jason instantly runs toward Nathan and collides with him with a nice corner splash. Nathan falls down to the mat as Jason heads to the top rope. Nathan gets up and Jason jumps, executing a hurricanrana that takes Nathan down to the mat again. Jason stays on him to the best of his ability and uses his adrenaline to pick Nathan up for a split second to take him down with a Northern Lights Suplex. Jason hooks the leg for the cover.]

Thomas Simon: Jason X’s hybrid style offense is really shining right now.

Richie Rhodes: Nathan needs to find a way to counter that, with a two-dimensional offense of his own

Thomas Simon: You’re right, Nathan needs to utilize other styles tonight to beat a former TV Champion

[Nathan has gotten up and Jason X clotheslines Nathan right out of the ring. Nathan crawls toward the barricade and lays on it. Jason X runs at the ropes and leaps over for a suicide dive, but Nathan moves out of the way and Jason lands right on the barricade, hard! Nathan then scoops up Jason, carries him to the ringpost and jams him spine first…and again…..and a third time! Nathan rolls Jason back into the ring and then gets back into the ring himself to break the 10 count that was at 4. Nathan picks up Jason and drops him down near the ropes with a scoop slam. After that, he follows up with a leg drop. Nathan then locks in a submission hold, a single leg crab. Jason is now the one struggling. He’s fighting with every inch he can to grab the bottom rope. Nathan though, pulls him back toward the center of the ring. Jason is still trying to inch his way to the bottom rope. Nathan though, stands up, turns around, and uses the hold on his leg to pick him up and slam him to the mat. Nathan then gets Jason up only to take him down with a sidewalk slam. Cover!]

Thomas Simon: Jason X took quite a bit of punishment there, but Nathan James still didn’t do enough.

Richie Rhodes: If I’m Nathan, I don’t waste any more time. I try to win this thing right here, right now

[Nathan measures Jason X, as he’s now trying to finish this match off with the Decapitator. Jason is slowly getting to his feet, but it’s a struggle after all the punishment he’s taken. Jason is up. Nathan goes for the Decapitator, but Jason sees it coming and is able to move out of the way. Nathan turns around, right into a leaping cutter by Jason. Jason pounces on him and decides to lock in a Triangle lock. Nathan is the one struggling now, as he tries to use his strength to turn Jason over and to break the hold. But, Jason has it expertly locked in and Nathan’s only recourse is to try and get to the ropes. Nathan, after struggling for a little over a minute, manages to grab the bottom rope and break the hold. Jason breaks it up. Jason stands up and waits for Nathan to do the exact same. Nathan is up now and Jason grabs him, and takes him down with a Tornado DDT. Jason wastes no time as he goes to the top rope, leaps, and connects with the X-Star Press! He doesn’t cover, instead, he measures Nathan as he gets up. Nathan stands, and Jason gets on him to set up for the X-Driver. Pinfall attempt!]

[Jason measures Nathan as he gets up. Nathan stands, and Jason gets on him to set up for the X-Driver. Nathan counters with a back body drop, flipping Jason over his head and sending him crashing to the mat. Nathan locks in a camel clutch, putting Jason X in an uncompromising position. Jason is near the ropes, but obviously, he can’t reach them with his arms tied up. After a minute, Nathan stands up, picks up Jason and takes him back down with a double underhook slam into the mat. Nathan drags Jason back to the corner, and starts to jam his head repeatedly into the turnbuckle. He does so about five times before the referee asks him to stop. Nathan ignores the referee and the referee starts a five count. Nathan finally stops at four. Jason is flat on the mat. Nathan measures him as Jason gets to a vertical base. Jason takes a while, but Nathan’s patience pays off. Nathan grabs Jason from behind and connects with three German suplexes in succession, before he releases him after the third one. Jason is crawling toward the ropes. Nathan waits for him to stand up again. Jason gets to the ropes and uses them to get up. Nathan gets to him, grabs him, and takes him down with a belly to belly. Nathan goes up and begins to measure for the Decapitator again. Jason is able to get up. Nathan goes for it again, but Jason ducks underneath it. Nathan turns around into a kick to the gut by Jason. Jason hops on Nathan, and then….X-DRIVER! The X-Driver connected with precision in the center of the ring. Cover by Jason X!]

Honey Winters: The winner of this match, Jason X!

Thomas Simon: What an impressive display by Jason X! He looked like he was in trouble, but he turned it around, got the win, and is now back on track.

Richie Rhodes: I have to give him reluctant credit, he needed this win, and he got it. Nathan just couldn’t beat the experience factor that was in Jason’s favor. Jason knew that Decapitator was coming, so he countered it and hit his own move.


{The backstage area of the Joe Louis Arena. Aeryn Ashfield is finishing putting on the final pieces of her outfit in advance of the tag team title match. Sliding the shoulder strap of her top in place, she pauses for a moment to look at her reflection in a nearby mirror. Slowly, she slides her hands down her sides, bringing them to rest on the title belt around her waist. She smiles, admiring the way it looks on her.}

Voice: Hey, Aeryn, you ready to rock?

{Surprised, Aeryn jumps slightly at the sound. Her face now a shade of glowing scarlet, she turns to see her partner Soul Shadow standing there. Already attired in his ring gear and carrying his belt over his shoulder, he struggles to maintain his composure at her reaction. One look at her contorted face and his effort fails miserably. The belt falls to the ground as he doubles over with laughter.}

Aeryn: YOU ARSE!!! How dare you scare me like that! I ought to whip you!

{Aeryn takes a swing at his shoulder. With surprising nimbleness given his current state of mirth, Soul dodges with relative ease.}

Soul: Promises, promises, my dear…

Aeryn: Why you…

{This time, Aeryn lunges at him full force, swinging for his jaw. Soul once again evades, yet this time he manages to grab her forearm with his hand. Before she can react, Aeryn finds her arms being pulled across her chest in a straitjacket hold. Soul stands behind her, embracing her in his arms while still struggling to control his laughter.}

Aeryn: Let me go, you fucking wanker!

Soul: Not before you tell me a little more about this whipping you intend to do. Sounds like someone’s been reading Fifty Shades of Grey…

Aeryn (struggling): Dammit, Soul! Are you trying to get me pissed off at you? You’ve seen what I’m like when I’m angry!

Soul (still laughing): I know, Aeryn. You get this hellfire in your eyes and your whole body becomes tense with some sort of untamed electricity. Somehow, that trait is one of the reasons I love you. You look amazingly beautiful when you are like that…

{Suddenly, Soul becomes aware her struggles have ceased and the tension has dissipated from her body. His giggles die down as he also realizes why.}

Aeryn: What did you just say?

Soul: I... I said I love you.

{He releases his grip on her at that moment. She turns around, looking tenderly into his eyes.}

Aeryn: You never said that before.

Soul (with a shy shrug): I know. I didn’t sure if you wanted to hear it. I wasn’t sure if you knew… 

{His partner’s hand rises to gently touch his cheek.}

Aeryn: Oh, I always knew, Michael. It’s… it’s just really nice to hear it every now and then.

{With that, she leans on her toes to give him a kiss. The two hold it for a minute before she finally breaks apart.}

Aeryn (eyes shining): We definitely have to talk more about this, but for now we’ve got to defend our belts. So let’s go show these two idiots why we are the champions, okay?

Soul (smiling): Sure thing, Aeryn. You lead, and I’ll follow.

{Aeryn starts to head for the locker room door while Soul bends to retrieve his belt. Without warning, Aeryn turns to deliver a sharp slap to Soul’s ass. He yelps in pain from the impact, leaping back to a standing position.}

Soul (rubbing his sore bottom): Really?

Aeryn (smiling sarcastically): Oh, come on, Soul, you know you LOVE that about me.

{Her peals of laughter seem to taunt Soul as she merrily exits the room. His anger holds only for a brief moment. Before long, he grins and shakes his head before following her path.}


Honey Winter: Ladies and gentlemen, the next match is scheduled for one fall… and is for the MPW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

[The Detroit crowd lets out an enormous cheer, but the sounds swiftly changes to resounding jeers as Fozzy’s “Sandpaper” blares across the public announcement system. On the stage, a disheveled middle-aged man steps from behind the curtain. He stands unsteadily on his feet, swaying slightly back and forth though not in time with the music. One would almost guess the MPW brass pulled this individual from a nearby alleyway.]

Honey Winter: Introducing first… one-half of the challengers… weighing in at 220 lb…. from Phoenix, Arizona… CHRISTIAN CARTER!!!

[The former Sin City champion flips the hood from his head, revealing his unshaven face and unkempt hair. He blinks furiously in the face of the flashing spotlights, obviously annoyed by their brightness. Covering his eyes, he carefully makes his way down the ramp to the ring. In one motion, he jumps on the apron and grabs the top rope. To very little surprise, he almost falls, but he manages to catch himself before he tumbles to the ground. He steps through the rope gingerly before stalking to the far corner. Once there, he almost slumps to the ground, only held up by the top ropes.]

Thomas Simon: Geez, he looks wasted once again…

Richie Rhodes: No, he isn’t. It’s all part of his master plan to psychologically trick Phoenix Rising…

Thomas Simon: You really believe that?

Richie Rhodes: Well, one can always hope…

Honey Winter: And his partner…

[“Everybody’s Fool” by Evanescence starts over the loudspeakers, drawing a positive response from the audience. A beautiful young blonde lady walks onto the stage, wearing a Northwestern Wildcats jacket. She smiles at the applause, raising her hand to her brow in a salute.]

Honey Winter: Weighing in at 120 lb… from Evanston, Illinois… “The Wondrous Wildcat”… VALENTINA MADISON!!!!!

[Valentina dashes down the ramp and slides into the ring. Her customized jacket is quickly tossed to the ring attendant as she leaps onto the top rope. With a sly wink, she blows a seductive kiss to the crowd. A couple of college-age fans in the front row swoon at the gesture. She laughs as she jumps down, enjoying the moment. However, her joy quickly turns to concern as she sees her partner looking like he just got released from the drunk tank. She moves towards him, only for Christian to wave his arms dismissively at her. Valentina backs off as her music fades.]

Thomas Simon: I feel for Valentina. Her biggest moment in her short wrestling career and her partner is not exactly in the best shape to go…

Richie Rhodes: Hey, the thing about tag teams is sometimes you partner may not be in the best shape. The question is, is Valentina ready to step up to the challenge and carry them to victory?

Honey Winters: Now, introducing their opponents!!!

[“From the Ashes” by In This Moment begins to play, causing the capacity crowd to rise to their feet. As the lights begin to swirl randomly on the stage, a well-built man and a beautiful young lady walk onto the stage. Around each of their waists is a championship belt, shining proudly in the bright lights. The two stand side-by-side at the top of the ramp, both scanning the crowd with growing smiles on their faces.]

Honey Winters: At a combined weight of 383 lb... from London, England, and Boston, Massachusetts respectively… Aeryn Ashfield and Soul Shadow… together they are your MPW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS… PHOENIX RISING!!!!

[Aeryn and Soul share a secret grin with each other at the mention of their name. Aeryn raises her hand in the air. Her partner picks up on the signal and slaps a quick high-five. The pair then speeds down the ramp and slides smoothly under the bottom rope. They remove their belts, jump on the turnbuckles, and raises them over their heads. The appreciative fans roar in response. The duo then hands the belts to the ring attendant before moving towards their own corner.]

Thomas Simon: We are probably going to see quite a contrast in teamwork here. Soul and Aeryn have been committed to forming the perfect partnership from the moment they met. By contrast, Christian and Valentina have been a disaster from the get-go.

Richie Rhodes: Hey, it didn’t take Phoenix Rising long to gel and knock off the longest reigning tag team in the company’s history. If they can do it, Valentina and Christian can as well.

[Soul and Aeryn face each other in their corner, pound their fists into their hands, and count to three. Aeryn holds her hand out flat and straight while Soul keeps his hand locked in the fist. He hangs his head in mock shame as his partner covers the fist with her hand. Laughing, she gives him a quick peck on the cheek before turning to the opposing corner. With a sigh, Soul steps through the ring ropes to the outside apron.]

[In the opposing corner, Valentina tries to coax her partner into letting her start the match. Instead, Christian once again waves her aside. The young lady refuses, trying to argue her point. Angrily, he pulls himself up, gets directly in her face, and begins to berate her. Her face a bright crimson, she looks to make an angry retort, but rather she acquiesces and exits to the outside.]

Richie Rhodes: You see that! They are already in accord! Things are getting off to a good start!

Thomas Simon: Is your monitor showing the correct match?

[Upon seeing his opponent, Christian lets out a hearty laugh. He holds his hand even with his forehead, then lowers it to about Aeryn’s height, mocking their size disparity. Aeryn ignores the bait, beckoning him to come after her with an extended finger. Growling, the former champion lunges towards her. She ducks, hooking him around waist. Quickly, Christian whips an elbow around, but the tag champion manages to duck low, releasing her hold long enough for the momentum to turn him around before cinching it in once more. Before Christian can react, she shows her impressive strength by lifting him up slightly before dropping him groin first on her knee. As she releases the hold, Christian grabs his family jewels instinctively. Aeryn then jumps into the air, kicking him towards her corner with a vicious enzuigiri. Carter’s head spins where Soul grabs it by hair and jumps to the floor. The challenger’s neck is driven across the top rope. Snapping back, Carter suddenly finds grabbed from behind and brought down with a lungblower.]

Thomas Simon: Familiar move from the champions, but I’m so surprised they have gone for it so early!

Richie Rhodes: Come on, Chris! Fight out of it!

[Aeryn looks for a quick ending with a cover. 1… 2… Christian tosses her off to escape the pin. Aeryn rolls over to her corner, quickly tagging her partner. Soul quickly ascends to the top rope while Christian, already looking winded, staggers to his knees. Measuring his opponent, Soul jumps, landing both feet right in the exact same spot where Aeryn’s knees had been moments prior. Carter is driven hard to the mat. Not wanting to give his foe a chance to recover, Soul uses a headlock to drag him back to his knees. One snap suplex, then a quick roll while maintaining the hold. Another snap suplex, and yet another roll. This time, Soul hoists Carter vertically in the air for a few long seconds, then adjusts the hold to drop him across his knee in a hard backbreaker. Christian bounces to the mat, where Soul makes a cover of his own. 1… 2… The shoulder is lifted from the mat.]

Thomas Simon: The champs look to take advantage of Carter’s reduced condition and hope to wear him down early…

Richie Rhodes: This isn’t fair! Alcoholism is a disease! These so-called good guys are beating the hell out of a very sick man! Someone call the authorities!

[Grabbing Christian’s leg, Soul pulls him in the direction of Phoenix Rising’s corner. Aeryn’s outstretched hand is slapped, making her the legal wrestler. Before exiting the ring, Soul pulls Christian up, bearhugs him, then flips him hard into the corner with a Northern lights suplex. Carter is left hanging upside down, his feet caught in the top ropes. Meantime, Aeryn runs three-quarters of the way across the ring, turns, and charges her helpless opponent. She leaps, landing a dropkick right to his jaw. Carter crumples in a heap. Moving swiftly, Aeryn pulls him onto her shoulders, his head facing the ceiling. With amazing speed, she drops him with a burning hammer, then pulls him into a double-chickenwing submission hold. Carter looks to be in immense pain.]

Thomas Simon: The TGIH!!! How long can Carter hold out?

Richie Rhodes: Come on, Christian! Don’t give her the satisfaction of hearing you quit!!!

[Unfortunately for Richie, Christian’s hand is poised above the mat, as if ready to tap. He delays, valiantly trying to fight it to no apparent avail. Realizing the danger to her title chances, Valentina jumps through the ropes, rushes over to Aeryn, and stomps her right in the stomach. Shocked, Aeryn releases the hold while the ref orders Valentina out the ring. The youngster protests as she steps through the ropes. Aeryn looks at the rookie, then to her fallen opponent. A smile forms on her face as she rolls Carter back to his knees. However, rather than execute a move, she instead pushes Carter into Valentina’s corner. Madison is surprised by the move. Aeryn practically orders her to make the tag, as if daring her to face the champions.]

Thomas Simon: I have to admit, I’m a bit surprised by Aeryn’s move. They had Christian practically finished. But rather than go for the kill, she is inviting Valentina into the ring!

Richie Rhodes: Looks like there is a crack in the armor of your perfect tag team!

[Indeed, Soul appears a little annoyed by Aeryn’s actions. His partner ignores him, focusing solely on Madison, who reaches down to Carter’s almost limp hand to make the official tag. Christian rolls to the floor while Valentina enters the ring. The two grapplers meet and lock-up. Aeryn pulls the less-experienced wrestler into a headlock. However, Valentina manages to leverage free, pushing Aeryn to the ropes. She rebounds strongly, knocking her opponent to the ground with a powerful shoulderblock. Smirking, Aeryn runs to the ropes again. However, Madison quickly kips up to her feet and runs after her. Aeryn bounces off the ropes, expecting to see her opponent just now recovering. Instead, she receives a pair of boots right in the jaw. Aeryn instantly returns to a vertical base, only to be dropped on more time. Valentina then jumps at her foe, but the champion instead lifts her up and tosses her over her head. With amazing agility, Valentina actually lands cat-like on the second rope, jumps forward, and catches Aeryn with a bulldog. With a triumphant scream, she yells to the fans. Amazed, they actually give her a standing ovation while Aeryn rolls to her corner to escape.]

Thomas Simon: Wow! Quite an impressive display of offense by Ms. Madison there!

Richie Rhodes: What did you expect? She’s been learning from the master, Christian Carter!

[Soul reaches his hand over the top rope, extending it in Aeryn’s direction. She looks to wave it off, but he insists. Angrily, she slaps it. Soul slingshots himself over the top rope at the exact moment Valentina stops working the crowd. Her eyes widen upon seeing him in the ring. However, instead of running, she sets herself to face him.]

Thomas Simon: Have to give Valentina props here! She is not backing down at all!

Richie Rhodes: Just hang in there girl, until Christian can get back into the ring!

[Soul and Valentina circle each other slowly, both looking for an opening. The faster of the two, the challenger dives for Soul’s legs, looking to trip him. He barely avoids her with a backward dance, then leaps to ensnare her. Before he can trap her, Valentina switches positions to get to his side. She grabs him arm and twists, causing him to flip onto the mat. Quickly, she wraps her legs around the arm and pulls in an armbar.]

Richie Rhodes: Oh, wow, we could have a submission here!

[Instead of looking in pain, Soul instead appears extremely annoyed. He pulls himself to a vertical base, despite Valentina maintaining the hold. Locking in the hold, she tries to drag him back down. However, with the help of his free hand, Soul begins to power her in the air. To counter, Valentina unlocks her legs and drops them to the mat. In one smooth motion, she armdrags Soul to the mat. He rolls to his feet as Valentina runs to the turnbuckles. He moves to chase her in the corner. Anticipating the move, she nimbly climbs the buckles and flips in the air, looking to somersault over him as he hits the corner. Unfortunately for her, he himself foresaw her move and had stopped, allowing her to land in front of him. Quickly, he grabs her and lands a German suplex. Rolling through, he hits a second. Once more he rolls, but this time he switches his grip to a full-nelson. He nails another suplex, but this time with a bridge for a pin. 1… 2… Valentina manages to slip from Soul’s grasp.]

Thomas Simon: Impressive move by Soul there to take the offense!

[Valentina rolls to her feet, only for to grab in her in another front facelock. He lifts her in to the air, then drops her on her head with a brainbuster. She clutches her head in pain, trying to roll away. Soul attempts another quick cover, only to get a one-count. Pressing his advantage, the champion drags his challenger to her feet and then whips her to opposite corner. Catching her on the rebound, he pushes her effortlessly into the air. He then drops to his back while raising his knees. Valentina lands gut first, the air driven out of her body.]

Thomas Simon: Soul’s greater experience is shining through here! He is really taking it to her!

Richie Rhodes: Dammit, why did Christian have to be saddled with such a lame partner?

[Valentina looks to be done as Soul pulls her back to his feet. Setting her into position, he lifts her onto his shoulders for the Soul Crusher. Before landing it, he turns to his partner, who gives him the thumbs up. At that moment, Christian Carter grabs Aeryn back the ankle and yanks, causing her to slam her jaw on the apron hard. Soul releases Valentina and charges through the ropes, nailing a suicide dive on Christian. Carter slams hard into the barricade, grabbing his back. Soul quickly checks on Aeryn, who indicates she is okay and tells him to get back into the ring. He smiles at her and jumps back on the apron. However, Valentina has used the time to recover her senses and charges, delivering a massive dropkick to the tag champion. He flies off the apron, nailing his ribs against the barricade. Seizing the opportunity, Carter grabs a nearby chair, swinging it into Soul’s side. Angry, Aeryn charges him. Carter uses the chair as a shield as he retreats to the safety of his corner. Aeryn wants to continue the chase, but upon hearing the ref’s count, she realizes she needs to her partner more.]

Richie Rhoades: More like extremely smart move! Now the match is firmly in their control!

[In the ring, Valentina is still struggling with the beating Soul laid upon her. Carter sticks his hand out for the tag. She looks reluctant to make it, but given her current state, she decides discretion is the better part of valor. One slap of his outstretched hand brings Christian into the ring. Off to the side, Aeryn helps Soul slide under the bottom rope to barely beat the ten count. She steps on the apron to try for her own tag. Soul begins to crawl in her direction. Impressively, Christian Carter pulls himself to the top rope and launches himself in a perfect flying elbow into the small of Soul’s back, cutting him off. Carter then flips Aeryn off. Incensed, she tries to enter the ring, only to be cut off by the ref. Taking advantage of the distraction, Carter kicks Soul to the floor. He then waits for Soul to pull himself up to his knees before slingshotting himself to the floor. His leg catches the champion behind the neck, driving his head into the concrete. Laughing, Carter hops back into the ring to receive the disdain of the audience.]

Richie Rhodes: My man Christian Carter taking it to the champs!

Thomas Simon: Maybe so, but if Soul gets counted out, it isn’t going to win them the belts!

[Indeed, Valentina yells for Carter to get the champion back in the ring. Carter ignores her, choosing instead to bask in the moment. Luckily for him, Soul is too stubborn to stay down and once again manages to avoid the ten-count, hauling himself slowly underneath the bottom rope. Carter notices his return and approaches him. Getting to his knees, Soul throws a couple of weakened punches, only to receive a knee for his troubles. He then lines Soul up and launches a superkick to his temple. The champion crumples to the mat, where he is covered… 1… 2… Soul manages to kick out. Frustrated, Carter pulls him to the center of the ring. Jumping up and down in place repeatedly next to the prone Soul, Carter executes a standing somersault on his stunned foe. Instead of pinning him, he runs to the corner, once again ascends, measures his distance, and lands a gorgeous senton splash. Rolling through, he leaps effortlessly onto the opposite middle turnbuckle and delivers a moonsault! Another cover… 1… 2… Soul barely gets the shoulder up.]

Thomas Simon: You know, despite all of Carter’s recent issues, one thing you have to admit is that when he is on, he is really on.

Richie Rhodes: Despite his recent issues, he is still twice the wrestler Soul and Aeryn combined will ever be…

[Frustrated, Carter gives a few stomps to his opponent. Smirking, he then approaches Aeryn’s corner, taunting her once more. Instead of taking the bait, Aeryn this time spits into his face. Carter wipes his face clean with a smirk. He blows a kiss in Aeryn’s direction before once again approaching Soul. He drags his opponent up, then hoists him on his shoulders in preparation for the Tornado Warning. Realizing what is about to happen, Soul lands a few quick elbow strikes to Carter’s head. He struggles to maintain his grip, ultimately having to release his foe. Looking to keep up the pressure, Carter goes for the Rising Chaos superkick. It is blocked by Soul, who pushes the leg aside causing Carter to spin. The challenger once again goes for the move, only for the champion to duck under his guard. Hooking Carter, he lifts him onto his shoulder, spins quickly, and bring the crowd to their feet with the Soul Crusher! However, the champion is too exhausted to try and make the cover.]

Richie Rhodes: Damn it! Where did that move come from?

Thomas Simon: I don’t know, but it has turned the tide! Both competitors are laid out in the ring!

[Valentina and Aeryn stand in their corners, screaming for their partners to get to their feet. Christian is the first to stir. He rolls onto his stomach and inches towards Madison, while Soul himself finally starts to come to his senses. He struggles to move in Aeryn’s direction while Carter manages to make the tag. Valentina comes into the ring and dashes toward Soul. One desperate lunge and the champion manages to connect with Aeryn’s hand. Impressively, Ashfield pulls herself onto the top rope and flies with a massive clothesline across Valentina’s neck. Landing, she uses her momentum to carry her towards Carter, whom she floors with a vicious elbow shot. Valentina bounces back to her feet, only be knocked against the ropes. Madison is launched to the otherside and rebounds into a rolling powerslam. Not releasing her hold, Aeryn pulls her foe up, throws her into the air, and drops her neck first on the top rope.]

Thomas Simon: Aeryn is on fire, just like a…

Richie Rhodes: No phoenix references!!!!

[Stunned, Valentina falls backwards will clutching her neck. Aeryn hooks the rookie’s arms behind her in a chicken-wing, then executes a chickenwing bridging suplex. 1… 2… Valentina manages to slide her shoulder up, but Aeryn doesn’t release her grip. Instead, she switches Valentina onto her stomach and bends backwards, applying pressure in a submission hold. Valentina screams in pain. Fortunately, Carter makes the save, kicked Aeryn in her ribs. However, even after the hold is released, he continues to kick at the champion. In defense of his partner, Soul tackles Carter, knocking both to the ground.]

Thomas Simon: Uh oh, this one has broken down!

[Soul and Christian roll around, trading punches with each other. Without warning, both roll under the bottom rope. Carter manages to grab the rope to right himself, but Soul drops painfully to the floor. In the ring, both Aeryn and Valentina struggle to their feet. The challenger takes a swing at her opponent, only to hit air and spin around. Aeryn grabs her around the waist and lifts her into the air for a back suplex. However, Valentina reaches back to use the ropes to stop the maneuver. She plants her foot, then launches with a springboard bulldog, her finisher. Unseen by her, though, Carter tagged her in mid-air. This, when Madison goes for the cover, the ref tells her she is not the legal wrestler.]

[Carter then steps into the ring, looking to claim the fall. Upset, Valentina gets in his face, arguing that they could have won the match by now if not for his interference. Carter yells for her to get out the way, giving her a huge shove. Instinctively, Madison slaps him hard, eliciting gasps from the fans. At first stunned, Carter snarls, grabs his partner, and spins her into the turnbuckle. He then threatens to hit her, though the Wildcat refuses to back down, almost daring him to try. Not one to pass up a dare, he rears back to deliver a closed fist. However, another fist, this one belonging to Aeryn, connects with his family jewels. Once again, he doubles-over in pain as Valentina escapes to the outside. Soul himself slides into the ring, grabs Carter, and lifts him in powerbomb position. Aeryn jumps onto the turnbuckles, hooks Christian’s head, and leaps backwards. Soul drops Carter in the Down in Flames. Aeryn then makes the cover… 1… 2… 3!!!!]

Richie Rhodes: Damn it! Why did Valentina have to get in the way?

Thomas Simon: It’s not her fault! She could have won it had Christian not tried to steal the glory!

Honey Winters: The winners of the match… and STILL MPW WOLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS… PHOENIX RISING!!!!!

[Soul’s and Aeryn’s arms are raised in victory over Christian’s fallen form. Outside the ring, Valentina can only shake her head in disappointment before heading back up the ramp. The reigning champions both take possession of their belts from the ring attendant. Smiling, Aeryn leaps into Soul’s arms, giving him a passionate victory kiss.]

Jay Wyatt: Johnny Clash tonight you face off against Jackson Blaze in a THREE STAGES OF HELL Match! You have been in many grueling matches before but this one seems to really take it to the extreme

Johnny Clash: Let me stop you there kid. Tonight Me and Jackson will settle the score and one match just isn't enough. We will settle this one on one... then in a cage and if it comes to it which I doubt it does... Tables, Ladders and Chairs.

Jay Wyatt: This is your opportunity to win your first Sin City title here in MPW. Does that have any effect?

Johnny Clash: I an't say I don't care about the title but it is my last priority. Destroying Iconic Aggression and Jackson Blaze is right on top of my list. And tonight..

[Johnny looks in to the camera]

The lights in the arena dim and white and red strobe lights fill the arena as Counting Bodies Like Sheep by A Perfect Circle begins to play throughout the arena. The arena fills with boo’s as Crow comes out dressed in his black wrestling gear.
 
Ring Announcer: “Coming in from Omaha, Nebraska! Standing at 6’4 and weighing in at 240 pounds. He is the Angel of Death!.......he is CROW!”
 
Crow slowly makes his way down to the ring steps and makes his way up to the ring apron. Making his way into the ring, Crow makes his way to the other side of the ring and jumps on top of a turnbuckle and perches himself on top of it as he waits for the match to start.
 
Richie Rhodes: I don’t know what’s going through his mind right now, but I can bet it’s not good.
 
Thomas Simon: I totally agree with you. Crow is known for his hardcore wrestling skills and this is a match where his imagination can run wild. But he’s facing off against the man that is known as the King Of The Barbed Wire Ladder match. But this will be a match not for the weak of heart.
 
The arena erupts with cheers as Avon by Queens Of The Stone Age begins to plays throughout the arena. Kurt makes his way out with a cocky smile on his face as he pauses at the entrance and looks around the ring to hear the fans cheering for him. The Awesome Title is wrapped around his waist as it shines in all its glory as the camera gets a good look at it. Kurt grabs the camera and brings it up to his face so that you can see his million dollar smile.
 
Ring Announcer: “Standing at 6’0, 220lbs! Coming from Chicago Illinois…..he is Kurt Newman!
 
Kurt flips into the ring and makes his way over to one of the ring post as streamers of different colors fill the ring. Kurt claps his hands in celebration as he jumps off the ring post and walks over to a nearby ring post and places the Awesome Title next to it.
 
Richie Rhodes: Hey! Watch out Kurt.
 
 
Crow waits no longer and starts attacking Kurt. Crow stomps away at Kurt as Kurt can’t do anything but take it. Kurt gets an opportunity and rolls out of the ring. Crow quickly follows and hits Kurt with his forearm as Kurt’s back is turn to him. Kurt stumbles to the barricades and leans against it as Crow walks over to him. Crow gets close enough to Kurt and slaps him across the chest. The arena erupts with Wooooooo’s as Kurt grabs hold of his chest. Crow doesn’t give Kurt time though to recover as Crow slaps him across the chest once again. Kurt doubles over as this one hurt more than the last one. Before Crow can hit Kurt with another one, Kurt grabs Crow, switches positions with him, and slaps Crow against the chest with an even louder slap. Crow covers his chest and tries to walk away, but Kurt grabs Crow, tilts Crow’s head up, and lands a slap with the bottom of his hand. Crow falls to his knees as Crow’s chest is now red from Kurt’s slaps
 
Kurt picks Crow up from the ground and hits him with a Russian Leg Sweep that lands against the guardrail. Crow holds the back of his head as he slides down the side of the guardrail. Kurt quickly gets to his feet, jumps to the apron of the ring, and runs over to Crow. Kurt jumps off the apron of the ring and hits Crow with a drop kick to the face. Crow’s eyes roll back as Kurt gets to his feet and looks at the crowd who goes nuts over the move.
 
Kurt picks up the barely conscious Crow and whips him to the other side of the guardrail. Crow hits the guardrail hard and knocks the breath out of his lungs. Kurt follows by running towards Crow and looks like he’s about to hit Crow with a splash, but Crow scouts it. As Kurt jumps into the air, Crow positions himself where he catches Kurt and slams him face first into the guardrails. Kurt holds his face in pain, and as he turns around, he is turned inside out with a close line by Crow.
 
Crow gives an evil grin as he looks down at Kurt who’s seeing stars. Crow slowly gets to his feet and plants a few boot stomps before going underneath the ring. After a few seconds of being underneath the ring, Crow makes his way back out with a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire. Crow holds it up in the air for everyone to see as the arena begins a “Holly Shit” chant. Crow walks over to Kurt, lifts the chair high above his head, and slams it on Kurt’s back. Kurt rolls around in pain as blood begins to flow from his back. Crow’s not done though as he hits Kurt again on his back with the barbed wire chair. Kurt screams out in pain as Crow drags the barbed wire across Kurt’s back, tearing at his skin and taking chunks off.
 
Crow, with a hand still on the chair, picks Kurt up by the hair and pushes him against a nearby guardrail. Kurt, with pain still showing on his face, watches as Crow lifts the chair high above his head and is about to bash Kurt in the head with it. Kurt acts quickly though and kicks Crow in the gut, Crow doubles over, causing the barbed wire steel chair to be next to Ryan’s head. Kurt quickly gives a super kick to the chair, causing the force to hit Crow in the head. Crow falls down to the ground with the barbed wire chair still on his head. Kurt sees this and takes the opportunity to jump up on the guardrail, fly through the air, and hits the chair with a double foot stomp with Crow’s head still underneath it.
 
The arena erupts with “Holly Shit” chants as Kurt leans up against a guardrail and stares at Crow who tosses the barbed wire chair off his face to show blood flowing down his face. Kurt slowly gets to his feet with help by the guardrail and makes his way over to the barbed wire ladder. He carefully lifts it up and caries it inside ring. Kurt rolls inside the ring, lifts the ladder up and sets it up in the middle of the ring.
 
Thomas Simon: That has to be hard to bring that ladder up. The whole thing is wrapped in barbed wire and there isn’t really any place on it where you can get a good holding of it without getting pricked.
 
Richie Rhodes: If you’re career was on the line, you’d do about anything to keep it. This is what these two are going to do. They’re going to give it their all because someone is walking away from wrestling for good tonight.
 
Before Kurt can make his way up, Crow enters the ring with the barbed wire steel chair. Kurt sees Crow entering the ring and stops him from advancing as he kicks away at Crow. Kurt picks Crow up and hits him with a snap suplex. Kurt quickly picks Crow up and pushes him against a turnbuckle. Kurt lands a few fist to Crow’s head before turning his attention to the barbed wire chair. Kurt picks the chair up, opens it up, places it near Crow, and makes his way over to the ladder. Kurt points at Crow before running towards him. Kurt jumps on the steel chair and tries to hit Crow with splash, Crow catches Kurt though in a powerbomb position and slams Kurt through the barbed wire steel chair.
 
Kurt screams out in pain as the barbed wire digs into his back again. Kurt rolls off the chair and lies on his belly, to relieve the pain on his back. Crow, in the meantime, takes a short breather before rolling out of the ring. Crow makes his way to the other barbed wire ladder on the other side of the ring. Crow picks it up, slides it into the ring, and makes his way back inside the ring. Crow positions the ladder, keeping it lying on the ground, next to the ladder that’s still standing in the middle of the ring.
 
Crow makes his way over to Kurt who’s still recovering from the powerbomb onto the chair. Taking advantage to Kurt’s raw and bleeding back, Crow jumps into the air and hits an elbow to Kurt’s back. Kurt reals around in pain as Crow then digs his fingers into Kurt’s back and drags them down his entire back. Crow slowly gets up, takes his thumb and drags it across his throat as he signals the Angel Eyes. The arena fills with boos as Crow picks Kurt up, maneuvers Kurt over to the ladder, and looks like Crow will try to hit Kurt with the Angel Eyes on the barbed wire ladder. With Kurt position just right, Kurt is about to hit Kurt with the Angel Eyes, but Kurt blocks it, and instead, hits Ryan with the Gemini Driver away from the barbed wire ladder.
 
The arena fills with cheers as Kurt drags himself up by the barbed wire ladder as Ryan lays on his back, looking up at the ceiling. Kurt looks like he’s about to make his way up the ladder, but the arena fills with boos as Impaler and Hellbender make their way down the ramp. Kurt notices the fans reaction and turns around to see Impaler and Hellbender coming down the ramp. Kurt looks up at the title, and then back at the two men, and tries to figure out what to do. His decision is quick though as he runs to the opposite ropes, bounces off of them, runs with full force to the other side of the ring, jumps onto the ropes and flies through the air and lands on top of both Impaler and Hellbender. All three men hit the ground hard as the arena erupts with cheers from the fans.
 
Kurt, slowly and painfully, gets to his feet and makes his way towards the ring. Sliding inside the ring, Kurt is about to stand up when Crow comes out of nowhere and hits Kurt with the Angel Eyes. Kurt goes out cold as Crow holds onto ropes to keep himself standing. A smile comes to Crow’s face as he sees Kurt knocked out, then looks up at the Awesome Title hanging above the ring. He looks over at Impaler and Hellbender who are slowly making their way back up to their feet and points to them to get out of the arena as he points towards the entrance. The two argue with Crow, but they eventually do leave. Crow takes the opportunity, with Kurt still knocked out, and slowly and painfully makes his way up the ladder. With Crow’s first step, Crow grabs his hand away from the ladder and shakes it in pain as the barbed wire digs into his skin. Crow moves on though through the pain as he slowly makes his way up the ladder. As Crow is about half way up, Kurt is slowly getting to his feet. Kurt looks over to the ladder and sees Crow is over half way up the ladder. Kurt looks around the ring and finds the twisted and broken barbed wire steel chair. He crawls over to the chair, picks it up, and makes his way over to Crow who hasn’t noticed that Kurt is back to his feet. Kurt lifts the broken barbed wire steel chair and slams it to Crow’s back.
 
Crow screams out in pain as he stops dead in his tracks. Crow doesn’t fall though as Kurt drops the chair and makes his way to the other side of the ladder and makes his way up. Kurt fights through the pain and makes his way up the ladder. As Kurt meets up with Crow on the opposite side of the ladder, Crow fights through the pain on his back and makes his way up.
 
It’s a race to the top now as the two men are neck to neck. Pain shows on their faces with each step up the ladder as the barbed wire digs into their skin with every step closer to the Awesome Title. They continue to climb to the top until both men make it to the top at the same time. Crow’s the first one to throw a punch at Kurt. Kurt punches back at Crow. Crow punches Kurt, and Kurt punches back. The two trade blows for a few seconds until Kurt stops the punches and slaps Crow across the chest. Crow follows with his own slap across the chest of Kurt. This goes back and forth some more until Crow breaks it up by taking Kurt by the head and slams it against the ladder. Crow takes Kurt by the head again and slams it against the ladder again. Kurt loses his balance a little bit and looks like he could fall off the ladder any second. Crow tries to take advantage of this opportunity and tries to punch Kurt off. Kurt avoids the punch though, slams Crow’s head against the ladder, and hip tosses Crow off the ladder. Crow falls down below and slams hard to the other barbed wire ladder below. Crow squirms in pain as the barbed wire from the ladder digs into his skin.
 
Kurt breaths in deeply as he looks at the carnage below him. Kurt then looks up at the Awesome title, just and arm length away, and is about to grab the title when the fans stop him. The arena goes bazurk as Kurt looks down at the arena, points at Ryan, and gets an even bigger pop when he motions both his hands in a circular motion. Kurt obliges the fans as he slowly gets on top of the ladder, makes a cross motion on his chest, and looks down at Crow who hasn’t moved since he fell on top of it.
 
Thomas Simon: What the hell is he doing? Is he insane?
 
Richie Rhodes: You have the match won Kurt! Don’t do it!
 
Suddenly, Kurt jumps off the top of the ladder and falls on top of Crow with a Shooting Star Press. The arena goes nuts as the force of the Shooting Star Press breaks the ladder. Kurt holds his chest in pain as Crow is out cold, lying in the ladder.
 
The arena chants a “Holly Shit” chant as the fans are all on their feet as Kurt slowly and painfully crawls towards the ladder. It’s a slow and painful journey, but Kurt grabs the bottom the ladder, and uses it to help himself up. Kurt slowly makes his way up the ladder. Covered in blood and gashes covering his body, Kurt fights through the pain as he makes his way up. Kurt finally makes his way to the top and reaches up for the title. Crow though regains his consciousness and sees Kurt inches away from the title. Crow lifts himself from out of the ladder and moves towards the ladder that Kurt is standing on. With his last bit of strength, Crow pushes the ladder down with Kurt still on it. At the last minute though, Kurt grabs hold of the Awesome Title and holds on for dear life. The arena goes nuts as Kurt tries to hold on for dear life. Crow, bloodied and exhausted looks on as Kurt hangs on.
 
Kurt’s strength finally gives up on him and he lets go. As he drops though, he grabs the title with him. Kurt falls on top of part of the barbed wire ladder below, with the Awesome Title still in Kurt’s grasp. The arena erupts with cheers as the bell rings for the match to end. EMT’s quickly make their way to the ring and pay attention to both men who are both critically injured.


[REWIND: RELOADED SEPTEMBER 15th 2013]

Chrissy is left all alone in the ring now as Laila stomps away on her. She takes in Blaze who grabs the opposite leg of Laila and wishbone Chrissy. Chrissy holds her knee as Blaze pins.]

1....2....

[Chrissy kicks out as the fans cheer. Blaze picks her up and tosses her in to the corner. He signals for the bastardizer as the fans boo. Chrissy stumbles out of the corner as the fans cheer. Johnny Clash rushes in to the ring with a steel chair and attempts to nail Jackson with the chair. He swings it but Laila jumps in front of it taking the blow for him. The bell rings]

Honey Winters: Your winners via disqualification, Laila and Jackson Blaze.. Iconic Aggression!

[Johnny backs up with the chair blocking Chrissy from further attack. He bangs the chair on the ground and Jackson stares at him. He grabs Laila and they leave the ring]

Jackson Blaze: You aren’t worth my time!

Thomas Simon: Johnny Clash saving Chrissy Starr here!

Richie Rhodes: we knew the numbers game would catch up but he cost us a good match!

[They mouth off to Johnny as they head up the ramp. Johnny puts the chair down and tends to Chrissy. He asks if she’s okay and helps him up. He raises her arms up as Ms. Hyde hits.]


Thomas Simon: Chrissy Starr has been through it all and tonight she gets her hands on Laila!

Richie Rhodes: Dont count out my boy Taufik though!

[Mz Hyde by Halestorm hits as the fans cheer. Chrissy Starr walks out on to the stage with her arms raised in the air. She poses on top of the stage and walks down the ramp]

Honey Winters: Making her way to the ring, from Buffalo New York.. Chrissy Starr!

[Chrissy enters the ring and waits for her opponents]

Honey Winters: And making his way to the ring, from Singapore he is your Television Champion... TAUFIK!

[Awake and Alive by Skillet starts to play as Taufik hops his way towards the entrance ramp as he interacts with the fans by fisting their hands and even slapping their hands and when he slides to the ring, he throws his fist as the fans cheers him on as he awaits for his opponent.]

Honey Winters: And from Queenstown Singapore... Laila!

["Play dead" cues up as Laila appears at the top of the ramp, a black pagan type robe covering her entire body. The lights are dim except for a muted spotlight that lights only her. As the base kicks up and Bjork yells out Laila lifts her head and throws the robe off, her mouth mimicking the singer. She then eyes the crowd and struts in time with the music. once she gets to the ring, she climbs the steps, enters the ring. Standing in the middle she eyes the crowd once more before throwing her head back once more. ]

[All three competitors stand at opposite ends as the bell rings for the official start to the match. Taufik and Laila stare each other down before both looking towards the opposite side of the ring where Chrissy is. Chrissy see's what could be coming and prepares herself. Out of surprise the short lived alliance of Laila and Taufik come to an end with Taufik from out of nowhere throwing right hands right at Laila, who backs into the corner trying to protect himself from the quick and brutal offence of Taufik.]

Thomas Simon: Well it looks like Chrissy is now joining in on keeping Laila in the corner helping Taufik!

[Chrissy then pushes Taufik out of the way then grabs Laila and hits him with a very nice short arm clothesline that drops Laila and leaves him in the corner. Chrissy turns around remembering about Taufik behind her but it is to late as Taufik hits Chrissy with a flying forearm! Chrissy retreats to the outside leaving Laila and Taufik in the ring! Laila is now up and hits Taufik right in the gut with a right and follows up with a nice couple of forearms in the side of the head that knocks Taufik into the corner! Laila is letting off now though as he continues the offence with repeated rights into the skull of Taufik and follows up with the surprise headbutt, Laila has control as he irish whips Taufik who bounces into the opposite corner and follows with a leg lariat straight to the face of Taufik!]

Richie Rhodes: This is why he likes to call himself "Textbook" that leg kick was hit picture perfect!

[Chrissy comes from behind and hits Laila with a forearm to the back of the head and gets Laila into the reverse ddt lock looking for her finishing move The Circuit Breaker but Laila reverse by a quick kick to the head of Chrissy which forces her to release the hold and follows by going for the Bewitched dragon suplex but this time Chrissy reverses by slipping out of the hold and continues by driving Laila into the corner where Taufik is behind them both as he runs at them Chrissy moves out of the way and Taufik hits a running dropkick in the corner to Laila! But the action doesn't stop there as Chrissy who is behind Taufik drives him into the corner and hits forearms to the back of Taufik who comes out of the corner holding the back just for Chrissy who got a little space between her and Taufik to hit a big boot which drops Taufik! She drags him into the middle of the ring where she makes the cover!]

Richie Rhodes: Great kickout there by Taufik showing great resiliency, this match is so high paced and to see Chrissy take control of the match by hitting some very nice moves is great to watch!

[Just as Richie said there Chrissy is in control now and slows the match right down now with a headlock centre of the ring. Taufik slowly reaches his feet where he runs against the ropes which makes Chrissy release the hold and run to the opposite ropes just to rebound straight into a running crossbody by Taufik, he moves swiftly now as he goes to the apron and scales the turnbukles and reaches the top rope where he waits until Chrissy is looking his way and prepare to dive before Laila who has recovered from that dropkick throws Taufik all the way to the barricade on the outside! Now listen to this crowd!!!]

OH MY GAWD!]

Richie Rhodes: What a move! Laila is 6 foot 2 and can hit moves like that! Simply brilliant. And you can hear this crowd as well, they are getting louder and louder!

Thomas Simon: After Laila gets up after a few seconds he appeals to the crowd before grabbing Chrissy throwing her in the ring, Laila follows and makes the cover!

[Taufik celebrates outside the ring with his title belt. He clutches it tight as he walks up the ramp. The fans cheer him on. In the ring Chrissy uses the ropes to hold herself up and wipes her hair off her face. She looks disappointed in herself as the fans give her a standing ovation. She gives a half smile and nods to Taufik who nods back. Suddenly from behind Laila turns her around and slaps her across the face. She sets her up for the Bewitched! The crowd boos but Taufik drops his title and runs back down to the ring. He clotheslines Laila down. The crowd erupts. Chrissy falls on to her butt but gets back up. Taufik picks Laila up and holds her towards Chrissy. He smiles and nods. Chrissy Starr runs and hits a spear on Laila sending her down. She lifts her back up and hits the Rising Starr! Chrissy stands over Laila’s broken body as Taufik and her hug as the scene ends]


[REWIND: AFTERSHOCK OCTOBER 11th 2012]

[Baxter pulls Blaze to his feet but is quickly rolled up in a small package by Blaze. 1….2.. no Baxter kicks out. Baxter and Blaze spring to their feet but are both nailed with a double clothesline from the side by Kried. Kried turns to focus his attention on Clash as he helps him to his feet. Kried is a man possessed as he wraps his massive hands around Clash’s neck and lifts him up driving him down with a two handed chokeslam. Clash hits the mat and flips on to his side from the long drop down. Kried turns and sees Blaze getting to his feet. Kried parks himself in the opposite corner then takes off as Blaze gets to his feet and clotheslines him over the top rope to the outside. Blaze hits the floor and rolls against the barrier. Kried looks down and curses at Blaze in German then just as he begins to turn around he is met with a running dropkick from Baxter. It sends Kried stumbling backwards into the corner. Baxter immediately starts filling the big German with lefts and rights. Kried uses his huge strength advantage and shoves Baxter a few feet on to his back. Kried looks up just in time to see Clash running at him and jumping attempting a knee lift. Kried catches him and then just tosses him over his head sending Clash to the outside. On the impact Clash lands half on the steel ring step with his left knee. The crowd collectively goes oooooooohhhhhh as Clash grabs his left knee and rolls around screaming in pain.]

Thomas Simon: Clash could be out of the match. That impact was just……WOW!

[Back in the ring Baxter and Kried are back at it. Baxter tries gaining the upper hand by nailing quick calf kicks to the right and left legs of Kried stumbling him back. Baxter runs against the ropes and comes back running right into a big boot from Kried. Baxter snaps to the mat and Kried quickly covers him. Gordon counts 1………2…….Baxter kicks out. Kried grabs Baxter and hoists him up high in the air in a gorilla press. He walks around the ring showing off his amazing strength. Before he can press slam to the mat Blaze slides in with a steel chair and slams Kried in the back of his right knee with the chair. Kried drops Baxter off to the side dropping to one knee.]

[Perfect Life by Red hits as the fans cheer. Johnny Clash appears on the top of the 100's section, first level seating. He walks down the aisle and pauses at the barricade.]

Honey Winters: Making his way to the ring. From Brooklyn New York.. JOHNNY CLASH!

[He hops the rail and climbs up the steel steps. He takes his Resistance Shirt off and throws it in to the crowd as he climbs in to the ring and raises his arms on the top rope. He jumps down and awaits the bell.]

[The lights in the arena fade to black. The sound of Motley Crue's "Wild Side" slowly begin to echo through the air. "The Bastard" Jackson Blaze slowly makes his way from the back, out onto the top of the entrance ramp with a dim spotlight on him. Stopping, he slowly turns his head from right to left scanning the crowd.]

Honey Winters: And his opponent, he is the Sin City Champion from Las Vegas Nevada.. Jackson Blaze!

[His arms shoot outward at his side, into a crucifix type pose as the words "The Bastard" appear on the giant screen behind him in flaming text. Blaze starts a quick run down the ramp towards the ring where he quickly slides in under the bottom rope.]

Thomas Simon: Here we go... starting this thing in a singles match!

[Both men circle each other than go in for the tie up. Jackson sends Clash into the ropes and on the rebound Clash nails a standing dropkick to Ash. Clash gets up and he boots Jackson in the face several times before dragging him to his feet. Clash gets an arm wrench but Jackson reverses it and hits an arm drag. Jackson charges at Clash for a clothesline but Jackson ducks and is hit by a clothes line from Clash. Clash kicks Jackson about as Jackson tries to get to his feet. Jackson is on his feet and hits a toe kick and tries to get a side cobra clutch suplex but Clash reverses with elbow shots and a knee shot. From Jackson’s bent over position Clash backs him self up into the ropes and take a run up to do a running DDT. Clash covers early but only gets a two count for all his troubles. Clash stomps away at Jackson and grabs each of Jackson’s legs. Clash pulls the legs apart and nails a falling head butt smack bang right into Jackson’s groin. Jackson rolls over to his side with his hands over his crotch as Clash begins to kick wildly at Jackson’s back. Clash picks Jackson up and kicks at Jackson’s knees. Jackson seems like he is about to buckle from the assault his knees are taking but is caught into a side suplex and a tight roll up from Clash. One - Two - Thr.... NO! Jackson kicks out from the roll up and rolls backwards back up onto his feet.]

Thomas Simon: I have a feeling about this match…..a very good feeling!

[Ash charges with another clothesline attempt but only to miss and be caught into a belly to back suplex and pin. The Referee runs in for the pin. He makes out the pin and spots Jackson’s leg high up onto the second rope of the ring and orders the pin a void. Clash rolls out onto all fours and hits the canvas in a fit of anger and gets to his feet. Jackson is slowly getting up and is struck by Clash with several right hands. Clash swings for an eighth time but Jackson blocks it and hits a gut kick. Jackson with a shoulder thrust and finally to top it all off a Northern lights suplex and pin. The Referee rushes in and slides before making the pin count. 1... 2... No! Clash gets the shoulder up. Jackson then starts hitting elbow shots as the two men are still down on the mat. Jackson then gets to Clash' legs and spreads them wide and rams his foot in hard between Clash' thighs. Clash clasps his crotch in pain as Jackson begins to capitalise with stomps and right hands to the head. Clash is in a seated position as Jackson is behind him hitting in right hands to Clash' temples. Jackson locks in a sleeper hold we can be proud of as Clash struggles a little bit. Clash tries hitting Jackson’s arms but it doesn't work. Clash gets to his feet, still in the sleeper hold, Clash hits elbow shots and gets a head lock on Ash. Jackson then counters with a belly to back suplex. Jackson grabs Clash' legs and locks in a leg lock. Jackson increases the pressure as Clash grunts and groans. Jackson locks the leg lock on even harder but Clash manages to reach an arm's length rope. Jackson lets go as the referee wards him off of Clash. Jackson starts stomping on Clash' leg but is knocked off of his feet by a sweep from Clash. Clash gets leverage on the ropes for the pin. The Referee rushes in. 1... 2... no! He is about to count the three but spots Clash' leg on the ropes and counts the pin fall as a void.]

Richie Rhodes: I don’t say this often Tommy Boy but I am LOVING this action right now! WOOOOO!

[Ash pushes Clash off of himself and gets to his feet. Clash and Jackson lock horns. Clash gets in a couple of knees and backs the Regional contender up against the ropes and whips him across the ring. Jackson bounces off of the ropes and is lifted high into the air with a flap jack from Clash. Clash picks Jackson up and throws him up with a belly to belly release suplex. Clash picks Jackson up by the hair and hits him with a right hand and a left hand before doing another belly to belly release suplex. Clash picks Jackson up and delivers a Clothesline, Jackson even flips in the air. Clash covers for the pin but some how, some way, Jackson musters up the strength to kick out at two. Clash visibly frustrated wonders what he has to do to keep Jackson down. Clash starts slowly getting Jackson to his feet; Jackson surprises Clash and shoves him off.]

Thomas Simon: I’m on the edge of my seat here!!!

[Clash comes back in and Jackson starts mauling Clash with furious rights and left and eventually backing him up into the turnbuckle. Jackson grabs Clash by the head and drives it right into the turnbuckle several times. The crowd counts along. 1... 2... 3... .4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... 10! Jackson drops down and lets Clash walk forward a bit and than locks in a cobra clutch from behind and drives Clash into the mat with a cobra clutch suplex. Clash bounces off of the mat and slowly starts getting onto all fours. Jackson seems like he is in control as he drives his boot into Clash face. Jackson picks Clash up and locks in a headlock. Jackson picks him up from that position, quickly spins one hundred eighty degrees, gets the inverted headlock and completes the maneuver with an implant DDT. Jackson goes to cover Clash but Clash kicks out. Jackson goes to bring Clash up to his feet but is hit with a cheap old school eye poke. Jackson is temporarily blinded and turns away to face the other way to regain his sight. Clash swings for the lariat, Jackson ducks the lariat and nails in his own lariat sending Clash down to the mat. Jackson drags over by a turnbuckle and takes a hold of his legs. Jackson falls back and catapults Clash into the turnbuckle. Clash falls back a little and is caught with a German suplex. Jackson lets go of the German suplex and goes to pick up the champ. Jackson whips Clash into the turnbuckle again and places him on top of the turnbuckle in a seated position facing away from the ring. Jackson climbs to the top and hits a German suplex off of the top ropes.]

Thomas Simon: HOLY SHIT!

[Both men come down to the apron with a thunderous boom. The crowd is applauding both men’s efforts at this amazing match. Jackson struggles to get to his feet first as Clash is clutching the bottom rope. Jackson gets up and sees Clash clutching that second rope. Jackson rushes at Clash nails a quick knee to the mid section. Jackson signals to the crowd that its time to end this. He grabs Clash and spins him around. Clash stands groggy as Jackson jumps and nails the Adios Mother Fucker! The crowd buzzes when Clash hits the mat and flips onto his stomach. Jackson pins Clash…..The Referee counts…..ONE……..TWO……THRE…….NO Clash KICKSOUT!!!! Jackson is in disbelief as Clash mustered up that last little bit to kick out from the Jackson’s Claw. Jackson looks at the ref saying it was a three count. He argues with the ref and backs him up into the corner. The Referee insists Clash kicked out. Jackson turns around and is immediately met by Clash who kicks Jackson in the gut and quickly nails the Bloodline out of the nowhere. Clash flips Jackson on his back and hooks the leg. The Referee counts ONE…………..TWO………..THREE!]

[The cage begins to lower as Clash is held back by the referee in the corner awaiting Jackson to get up. Jackson gets up and checks for blood on his nose and lays in the corner as the cage is secured]

Thomas Simon: OH here we go!

[There was no hesitation from either man and immediately Clash and Blaze were charging at one another, locking up in the middle of the ring. Blaze seemed to gain the early advantage by powering Clash into a side headlock but no sooner had the move been locked in than Clash was pushing Blaze off and sending him toward the ropes. Blaze however thought quickly and as he neared the ropes he was able to slow his momentum enough to instead suddenly begin to climb the side of the steel cage! Clash immediately saw his error and ran after Blaze, yanking the bigger man back down to Earth by one of his feet. The two began to exchange rights and lefts at an astonishing pace in a battle between speed versus power with speed being the momentary victor. Clash got the advantage with a quick round of rights that sent Blaze into the turnbuckle and in an impressive display Clash backed up, ran, and leapt, using Blaze’s own body to begin to climb up the side of the cage!]

Thomas Simon: Quick thinking by Clash here!

Richie Rhodes: No! Not like this!

[Blaze seemed to have the same thought as he slowly stepped up and balanced himself on the bottom two ring ropes and grabbed Clash by the waist, sending him crashing down to the mat in a huge powerbomb that left the ring and cage shaking. The fans were on their feet, mouths agape from the impact, as they watched Blaze follow up his assault with several kicks to the ribs that left Clash doubling over before dropping several elbows to the kidney’s and then went for the cover.]

1… 2… kickout!

Thomas Simon: It’s going to take more than that to take that belt from Clash.

Richie Rhodes: Are you kidding? Clash just got lucky. He probably had an itch or something. If he were smarter he would have just stayed down.

[Blaze gripped Clash by the head and started to yank him to his feet but Clash shot out of the gate with a huge uppercut that clocked Blaze just under the chin and sent him crashing back into the side of the cage. Clash leapt into an impressive standing dropkick that sent Blaze’s head smashing even harder back against the twisted metal of the cage. Grabbing the back of his head Blaze seemed to slump for a moment, his fingers moving to the back of his head and coming away red with blood.]

Thomas Simon: Looks like the cage has opened up Blaze.

Richie Rhodes: Really? How did you know Sherlock?

[Clash smashed Blaze into the cage again and began to rake his face back and forth against the metal side of the cage. Blaze fell to the mat, clutching his face and Clash added salt to the wound with a big knee to the back of the head. Blaze crashed onto his back and Clash took to the turnbuckle, glancing behind him for only a moment before taking to the air in a huge moonsault. Blaze however saw the champion coming and got his knees up just in time to send them barreling into ClJackson’s gut. Both men were down as several seconds ticked away. A slow trickle of blood could be seen coming from the corner of ClJackson’s mouth. Thomas Simon: Uh oh, it looks like Blaze’s knees might have done some internal damage to the current champion. He’s bleeding now too after that textbook but failed moonsault.]

Richie Rhodes: Blaze is getting this shot for a reason. Because he can think quickly on his feet both defensively and offensively.

[Then there came more signs of movement from inside the ring as Clash slowly began to slide toward the cage door, one hand holding his injured ribcage painfully. As the referees saw him coming they began to unlock the door. The fans were screaming in anticipation as Clash reached the doorway but then from nowhere Blaze was suddenly standing over Clash and with one quick movement he slammed the cage door right on ClJackson’s head!]

Thomas Simon: Oh my God! Did you hear that?!

[For a moment Blaze looked at the door. This was his chance. He could walk out right now and win or… with a sick grin the bearded man told referees to shut the door!]
Richie Rhodes: Now THAT’S confidence!

Thomas Simon: Or stupidity! Blaze would rather continue to punish Clash than win this match!

[Inside the ring Blaze seemed to be setting up Clash for his signature Death Valley Driver but then out of nowhere, perhaps even out of desperation, Clash pushed Blaze hard in the chest. Blaze stumbled back and bounced off the ring ropes just as Clash did the same and then…]

Richie Rhodes: Double Clothesline! Both men are down!

Thomas Simon: These two putting their bodies on the line tonight Richie. Both men look exhausted and are bleeding. This one could really go either way.

[Then it happened. Blaze started to show signs of life just as Clash struggled to his feet. Slowly Blaze made his way toward the cage door, his head bleeding more profusely now from all the abuse. It seemed to slow him either from pain or disorientation as Clash grabbed the turnbuckle to help pull himself up. Then he began to climb.]

Thomas Simon: It looks like this one is going to end up coming down to a race! Which man will make it out of the cage first?!

[The fans were once again on their feet as the world watched Clash climb and finally reach the top of the cage and stand, turning to see his opponent’s progress. Blaze had just reached the door and the officials were unlocking it! For a moment Clash looked down at the matted floor surrounding the ring and cage then back at Blaze. A twisted grin crossed his face and their came a huge pop from the fans.]

Thomas Simon: Oh no…

Richie Rhodes: What?

Thomas Simon: He’s not…

Richie Rhodes: What? He’s not what?

[Clash turned so his body was once again facing into the ring.]

Thomas Simon: Oh my God, he is…!

Richie Rhodes: He is WHAT?

Thomas Simon: Don’t do it Clash! Just climb out! Don’t do it!

Richie Rhodes: DO WHAT?! Draw me a picture! Charades! Something!

[Without another moment’s hesitation Clash launched himself from the top of the cage, flying high through the air in a shooting star press to come down right on Blaze as he stood by the cage’s door! But at the last minute Blaze, as if anticipating the move, turned and caught Clash in mid-air and in one fluid motion he caught Clash and used his own momentum against him to send him to the mat in an enormous powerslam that seemed like something out of a Matrix movie. A huge “HOLY SH*T” chant began to fill the arena and Blaze immediately went for the cover.]

[The Sin City Championship belt is lowered from the rafters as Ladders are placed all outside the ring along with Chairs and Tables]

Thomas Simon: Oh it’s all evened up! We are at the third fall!

[The crowd buzzes as Clash and Blaze circle the ring to begin the third fall. Blaze immediately leaves the ring and he grabs a table. He tosses the table into the ring. Blaze also throws a few chairs in as well. Blaze picks up a ladder and slides it in the ring. Clash picks up a chair. Blaze gets in and Clash bashes Blaze over the head with the chair. Blaze gets up and Clash hits him with a few rights before whipping Blaze to the corner. Blaze lays on the corner and Clash follows up with a stinger splash. Blaze falls and Clash gets the ladder and sets it up in the center of the ring. Clash gets a chair as Blaze gets up. Clash goes to the top rope with the chair in hand. Blaze gets up and Clash tosses the chair at Blaze, Blaze catches it, but Clash leaps off the top rope and he connects with a missile dropkick sending the chair right into Blaze’s face. Blaze goes down as Clash begins to climb the ladder. Clash is about halfway before Blaze gets up and grabs Clash from behind. Blaze suplexes Clash and Clash gets taken off the ladder. The ladder, meanwhile, falls to the mat.]

Thomas Simon: OUCH

Richie Rhodes: This is why I stay on this side of the table

[Blaze is the first to get up and he grabs the table and sets it up in the corner. Clash gets up and Blaze comes back with a chop across the chest, followed by another one. Blaze picks up Clash and he gives him a sidewalk slam. Blaze sets up a chair and he places Clash’s head on it. Blaze then goes to the top rope. Blaze leaps off and he connects with a LEG DROP on the head of Clash which breaks the chair in the process. Blaze rolls out of the ring and he gets another chair. He also gets matches and a lighter fluid. Blaze puts the objects in the ring and then he gets a 20 foot ladder and places that in the ring as well. Blaze gets back in the ring and he kicks the shorter ladder out of the ring. Clash gets up, but Blaze gives him a northern lights suplex. Blaze then bounces off the ropes and he connects with a lionsault. Blaze picks up Clash and he connects with a brain buster. Blaze drags Clash to the corner and lays him there, then places a chair in front of Clash to provide another obstacle. Blaze then sets up the 20 foot ladder and he begins to climb it. The table is right next to it. Clash gets up and he kicks the chair aside. Clash gets underneath Blaze and grabs him, then power bombs him in the center of the ring.]

Thomas Simon: A bone shattering power bomb!

Richie Rhodes: that was a high impact move

[Clash then kicks the lighter fluid and matches out of the ring, as well as a table that wasn’t set up. Clash takes down the set up table and tosses it outside. Clash sets up a table on the outside, then he sets up another table ON TOP of that one. Clash gets the lighter fluid and sprays it on both the top and the bottom table. Before he can get to the matches, Blaze gets him from behind. Blaze whips Clash back into the ring. Blaze gets back in there as well. Clash gets up, and Blaze tries a clothesline, but Clash counters it into an arm drag. Blaze bounces off the ropes. Clash goes outside of the ring to retrieve the shorter ladder. He places the ladder on a corner. Clash grabs Blaze’s legs and he slingshots him into the ladder. Blaze bounces off the ladder and Clash DRILLS HIM WITH THE BLOOD LINE! The impact of the move forces the shorter ladder to fall flat on the mat. Clash then reposition the ladder so the rungs face the entrance ramp where the tables are stacked. Clash begins to climb the ladder. Blaze gets up as Clash gets to the halfway point. Blaze grabs a chair. Clash is now at the near top of the 20 foot ladder. Blaze uses the chair to low blow Clash, but Clash stays on the ladder and his hands are on the top of it.]

Thomas Simon: OH MY GOD! THIS IS GETTING TOO CRAZY

Richie Rhodes: These two wont stop until they’re both dead!

[Blaze goes outside of the ring to grab the matches. He lights them up and he sets BOTH STACKED TABLES on fire! The crowd is already buzzing in anticipation. Blaze gets back in the ring and he begins to climb the other side of the ladder, the side that faces the flaming tables. Blaze gets to the top, but Clash recovers. Blaze is about to grab the title, but Clash punches him in the gut. The crowd is buzzing even more as Blaze and Clash exchange blows on the top of the ladder. Blaze eventually gains the upper hand and he grabs Clash. Blaze tries to pick up Clash to give him a vertical suplex through the tables, but Clash grabs Blaze around the waist to block the move. Blaze then tries to reach for the title, but Clash rakes him in the eyes at the last second. Clash then grabs Blaze, jumps off the 20 foot ladder AND GIVES HIM THE BLOOD LINE SENDING BOTH OF THEM THROUGH THE TWO FLAMING TABLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both Blaze and Clash are laying between piles of burnt wood! The crowd begins a “HOLY SHIT!” Blaze seems to be out of it, but Clash is stirring. Clash crawls on the floor and he slowly climbs into the ring. The crowd is pulling for him as Clash staggers toward the 20 foot ladder……]

Thomas Simon: Go Clash go!

Richie Rhodes: he wont make it! Where is Laila and Trey?!

Thomas Simon: Laila is in the hospital and Trey hasn’t been seen in a week! Finally! A fair match! Climb Clash!

[Clash reaches up and hangs on to the Sin City title belt. He pulls it down as the crowd goes nuts. The referee calls for the bell]

Honey Winters: here is your winner and NEWWWWWWWWWWW MPW SIN CITY CHAMPION!!!! JOHNNY CLASH!

[Johnny stays on top of the ladder and holds the belt up high in the air. The blood falls from his face as he rests his face on the top of the ladder. Jackson is helped out of the ring as EMT’s check on him. Johnny climbs back down the ladder and collapses with the title belt. More EMT’s rush out to check him.]

Thomas Simon: He did it! But at what cost?

Richie Rhodes: Oh my god what a brutal match

Thomas Simon: Fans if you have anything left... Let’s go to our main event!



December 29th 2013 - Atlanta Georgia


[ The ring is cleared as the bell rings. ]

Honey Winters: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the MPW World Championship!

[The fans cheer the announcement "Light up the Sky" by Thousand Foot Krunch plays and Chris Cable to the boos of the fans makes his way to the stage doing a 360 degree turn following to strike the air with his elbow. Cable reaches the ring and stands in the middle doing the same 360 turn followed by showing his elbow, this time through red fireworks fly off in the corners. ]

Richie Rhodes: There he is Tommy, he made he return last week, and tonight, he’s going to make it the most triumphant return when he wins the World title tonight.

Thomas Simon: That remains to be seen. Roxi Johnson is the champion for a reason.

Richie Rhodes: She’s been lucky. And her luck is about to run out.

[There is a moment of build, then "Help Is On The Way" plays over the PA system. Once the lyrics begin, Roxi Johnson emerges from the backstage area, She pauses at the top of the entranceway, soaking in the atmosphere. She stares ahead at the ring and begins a slow walk towards it. She pauses from time to time looking around the arena. After a moment, she steps on the apron, and enters the ring through the ropes. Once inside, she runs to the nearest corner, jumps on it, and raises her arms to the cheers of the audience. ]

Thomas Simon: There she is, the MPW World champion. She has taken down all challengers so far.

Richie Rhodes: But this is a different Chris Cable, And he’s about to prove it.

[ Roxi hands over the world title to Kelvin Gordon who shows it to Chris who snatches it away and holds it up to a chorus of boos. Cable then hands the title back and then attacks Roxi before the bell as she turned her back!]

Thomas Simon: And look out! From behind!

Richie Rhodes: You never turn your back.

[Cable beats down Roxi in the corner with forearms and kicks. Roxi slumps down into the corner and Chris stomps away for everything he’s worth, as the referee counts, and Cable backs away on 4. Cable moves right back in and continues to stomp away, and again the referee counts and forces Cable to back away. Cable once again moves back in, but this time Roxi uses the ropes to pull herself up and puts both boots into Cable’s face as he makes it there. Cable staggers, and moves back in, and again eats both boots in the face. Cable again staggers, and again comes back in, and Roxi kicks her legs into the air, wraps her legs around Cable’s head and swings and throws Cable down with a hurricanrana! Cable staggers up and Roxi catches him with a dropkick then sends Cable to the outside! The crowd pops as Roxi stops and waits, collecting herself as Cable does the same on the floor. ]

Thomas Simon: And it appears that Cable’s initial strategy has backfired!

Richie Rhodes: It’s early.

[ Cable slowly slides back into the ring and he and Roxi circle, then Cable stops and begins trash talking Roxi. He makes the “I want the belt” motion before jabbing Roxi in the collar with his finger, continuing to talk. After finishing his tirade, he takes a cheap shot swing, which Roxi ducks! Roxi responds with a right hand of her own, before latching on a headlock. Cable instantly backs into the ropes and shoots Roxi off. Cable goes for a clothesline but Roxi ducks and jumps on the middle rope, springboards and leaps backwards into an arm drag! Cable stumbles up and charges, but Roxi ducks and drops down and as Cable rebounds off the ropes and gets taken over with a monkey flip! Cable again gets up, and again eats a dropkick then sends him through the ropes to the floor again. Roxi then hit’s the ropes and fakes out Cable by faking a dive. Roxi hops over the top rope to the apron, but Cable is right there to cut her down and drop her off the apron.]

Richie Rhodes: Yeah! Way to go Chris!

Thomas Simon: Roxi made a mistake on that one, and Cable was quick to capitalize.

[ Cable stomps Roxi a couple of times before grabbing her and throwing her into the steel steps! The crowd “ooh”’s at the impact as Cable smiles. He picks up Roxi and throws her back into the ring before following her himself. Roxi stands up slowly and is met with a Cable chop. Cable then grabs Roxi’s head and hit’s a nasty European uppercut that drives Roxi back into the corner. Cable grabs Roxi and goes for an Irish whip, but Roxi reverses and nails Cable with another dropkick. Roxi waits in Cable to get up and hit’s the ropes. Roxi goes for a handspring elbow, but Cable catches her and hit’s a nasty suplex. ]

Richie Rhodes: Chris is staying with the champion move for move. Roxi had to have underestimated the challenger tonight!

Thomas Simon: I don’t think she underestimates anybody.

[ Cable waits as Roxi slowly stands and Cable hooks her and hit’s a suplex. He covers 1.…2..kickout. Cable argues about the count but then stands and waits for Roxi to get up Roxi gets up slowly as Cable charges and mows her down with a clothesline. Cable again covers 1...2..kickout. Cable angrily picks up Roxi and whips her into the corner, but Roxi jumps and sits on the top rope, and as Cable charges and eats a boot. Roxi then leaps off, hooks Cable’s head and hit’s a leaping, swinging, DDT! Cable rolls out of the ring to collect himself. Roxi bounces off the ropes and jumps over the top rope, but Cable rolls back into the ring. Roxi catches herself on the apron, but Cable again catches her with a dropkick, sending Roxi down to the floor! ]

Richie Rhodes: Oh this is great. Chris Cable is going to do it Tommy, I can feel it.

Thomas Simon: This match is a long way from being over.

[ Cable rolls out of the ring and as Roxi stands, Cable whips her chest-fist into the barrier. Roxi clutches her chest and Cable throws her back into the ring, before following her. Roxi crawls towards the corner to create some distance, but Cable grabs her before she makes it, and grabs Roxi and throws her head-first into the turnbuckle. Cable then unleashes a big chop. He lifts Roxi’s head, and then hits another chop. Cable then goes for a measured punch, but Roxi blocks, and hits one of her own. Cable goes for another punch, but again it’s blocked and Roxi hits another punch. Roxi then springs to life and throws Cable back into the corner and hit’s some forearms before unleashing a chop of her own. Roxi then pulls Cable out of the corner and tries another whip to the opposite corner, but Cable twists out and hit’s a kick to the gut. Cable then grabs Roxi and tosses her into the corner, upside down, catching herself in the tree of woe. Cable instantly hit’s a dropkick to the gut. Cable backs up with a smile on his face before readying himself. Cable charges for a sliding dropkick, but Roxi sits up, and Cable can’t stop his momentum and he ends up crotching himself on the steel post! ]

Richie Rhodes: Oh no!

Thomas Simon: Chris Cable took and a chance and it did not pay off!

[ Cable falls to the outside holding his crotch. He slowly gets up trying to walk it off, but does not notice Roxi climbing the turnbuckles. Cable looks up to see Roxi flying through the air with a cross body that takes Cable back-first into the barrier! ]

Thomas Simon: Roxi Johnson flies!

Richie Rhodes: C’mon Chris!

[Roxi slowly gets to her feet and meets Cable with another chop before tossing Cable back into the ring. She follows as Cable stands. She goes for an Irish whip, but Cable reverses. On the rebound, Cable spins Roxi into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker attempt, but Roxi lands on her feet, and then snaps off a hurricanrana! She hooks the legs for the pin! 1...2...kickout! The crowd gasps as they though that was the end. Cable is able to get up first and hit Roxi with another clothesline, halting her momentum. Cable then picks up Roxi and whips her towards the corner, but Roxi stops. Cable charges and Roxi hit’s a back kick before spring boarding and hitting a moonsault! She stays on top 1...2.…kickout by Cable!]

Thomas Simon: Another brilliant move by Roxi Johnson but, Chris Cable is still in the match.

Richie Rhodes: I told you Tommy, Cable is proving that he’s main event material right now. And he’s going to win this match.

[ Roxi waits for Cable to get to his knees before hitting a low dropkick. Roxi positions Cable’s body, before hitting the ropes, going for the Reality bites [Lionsault] but Cable gets the knees up. Roxi rolls up clutching her ribs, and Cable stuffs her head between his legs and CONNECTS with a stiff power bomb! Cable covers 1.…2...3No! Roxi rolls the shoulder. Another audible gasp from the crowd. ]

Richie Rhodes: Even this crowd can sense it. Roxi Johnson is done for.

Thomas Simon: This match has been back and forth all night. It’s even.

Richie Rhodes: Is that doubt in your voice, Tommy? Don’t you have faith in the superhero?

[ Cable cannot believe he did not get the win. Anger creeps up on him as he waits for Roxi to stand, as she crawls to the corner. Cable charges and Roxi drops down and pushes Cable into the corner chest-first. Roxi then connects with a spinning heel kick that drops Cable. Roxi rolls under the bottom rope and waits for Cable to stand. He does so and Roxi springboards and goes for a hurricanrana, but Cable counters and locks in the Wired Clutch [Elevated Cloverleaf].

Richie Rhodes: YES! YES! It’s over!

Thomas Simon: What a counter by Chris Cable!

[Cable clamps down on the hold, and Roxi screams in pain. She fights not to submit, but Cable begins dragging her towards the center of the ring. Cable is still standing, but then drops to a knee, bending Roxi’s body in a sick position! Roxi still refuses to tap out, but continues to yell. ]

Richie Rhodes: We’re going to have a new world champion!

Thomas Simon: That hold is synched in.

[ Roxi’s hand goes into the air, and she holds it there contemplating submitting. Cable wrenches back on the hold, but Roxi still doesn’t tap out. She reaches for the ropes, but is nowhere near them.]

Richie Rhodes: She can’t escape!

[ Roxi then places her hands on the ground, and pushes up and twists her body and somehow transitions into the Justice Lock! The fans explode in cheers! ]

Thomas Simon: She countered!
Richie Rhodes: What?! How! Get out of this Chris!

[ Chris squirms and wriggles, trying to do anything to get out of the hold. He flails wildly and kicks his feet, and is able to drape his foot on the ropes. ]

Richie Rhodes: Whew. Chris survives.

Thomas Simon: But now we’re back to even.

[ Roxi and Cable slowly stagger to their feet, and begins exchanging punches. Roxi fires off three in a row, but Cable kicks her in the knee, and then hit’s his Power Surge [Kneeling DDT] ! Cable makes the cover 1.…2...3NO! Roxi somehow rolls her shoulder. Cable holds his head in his hands clearly frustrated at this point.]

Richie Rhodes: You have to admit Tommy, Chris Cable has wrestled an almost perfect match.

Thomas Simon: I will grant you Chris Cable came to play tonight.

[ Cable backs up and tugs on his elbow pad, signaling for the end. Cable then motions for Roxi to stand. ]

Richie Rhodes: Here it comes Tommy.

[Roxi staggers to her feet and Cable moves in, going for a discus elbow, but Roxi ducks. She kicks him in the gut and plants him with a DDT. Roxi scrambles to her feet and springboards off the ropes and this time connects with the Reality Bites [Lionsault] She covers 1...2.…Cable rolls the shoulder. Roxi gets up and goes to pick Cable up, but he uses her momentum and pushes her into the top turnbuckle. Cable scrambles across the ring and leans against the corner face first. He looks over his shoulder to see the ref checking on Roxi, so Cable instantly reaches into his tights for something. ]

Thomas Simon: Hey! What is he doing?

Richie Rhodes: Nothing.

Thomas Simon: He’s reaching for something!

[ Indeed, Cable pulls a shiny metal object out of his trunks and slips it under his forearm pad. ]

Thomas Simon: The referee never saw it!

[ Roxi starts walking towards Cable as he re-assumes laying in the corner. Roxi makes it over and spins Cable around, who springs with a kick to the gut that doubles Roxi over. He quickly hooks her, spins around and throws her with a T-bone Suplex. He calls frantically for her to get up, and she staggers to her feet, slowly. Cable again spins, but Roxi again ducks, and tries a springboard looking for the Ray of Hope [Disaster Kick] but in MID-AIR Cable yanks her arm and pulls her right into the Deathblow [Ripcord Elbow] Roxi drops like a rock.]

Thomas Simon: THAT DAMN LOADED ELBOW!

Richie Rhodes: NEW CHAMPION! YES!

[Cable smiles as he rolls a limp Roxi over and covers, hooking both legs. 1.….2.…..3!]

Richie Rhodes: I CALLED IT! I CALLED IT! CHRIS DID IT!

Thomas Simon: That was disgusting. Chris Cable stole the world title.

[ Cable rises as his music plays and Kelvin Gordon hands him the World title. He raises Cable’s arm, then notices the metal object bulging from Chris’s arm pad. He questions him about this, Chris denies any wrong-doing, then Gordon starts testing the arm pad and pulls out the object. ]

Thomas Simon: He got caught red-handed! The referee caught Chris Cable!

Richie Rhodes: What a biased official! He can’t do that!

[Gordon snatches the world title from Cable and hands it back to the time keeper. Roxi is just starting to stir as Cable argues with Gordon more. Finally Honey Winters takes the mic. ]

Honey Winters: Ladies and Gentlemen, the referee has ruled that this match…. must be re-started!

Thomas Simon: All right!

Richie Rhodes: NO! Chris Cable already won the match!

Thomas Simon: He got caught cheating!

Richie Rhodes: This is absurd!

[ Cable continues to plead his case, and the Gordon motion for them to keep wrestling. Cable finally turns and is met with a Ray of Hope [Disaster Kick] from Roxi! ]

Thomas Simon: Ray of Hope!

[ Roxi covers! 1.…2.….3! The crowd pops as Roxi stands up, still shaking out the cobwebs from the elbow. She is handed the world title as “Help is on the way“ starts up]

Richie Rhodes: What kind of crap is this?! This is a travesty!

Thomas Simon: Roxi Johnson withstood everything that Chris Cable could dish out, including a loaded forearm pad, and she still manages to hold onto the MPW World title.

Richie Rhodes: She shouldn’t be the champion. Chris Cable was robbed!

Thomas Simon: Chris Cable put up a hell of a fight, but in the end, his own cheating backfired, and Roxi Johnson is STILL the MPW World champion. Folks, for Richie Rhodes, I’m Thomas Simon saying goodnight, and we’ll see you on reloaded!

[Roxi celebrates with the title as the show fades out. ]
